The wooden cabin has so much character. From the moment you step inside, you’re surrounded by warm timber, traditional details and large windows that frame the forest like a living painting. Sitting by the window with a cup of coffee, looking out at layers upon layers of green, is honestly one of the highlights of the stay. I especially loved the little details — the bamboo blinds, wooden bathtub, rustic furnishings and the small balcony overlooking the jungle. It feels beautifully simple and authentic rather than overly polished or commercial. But the real attraction is the location. You wake up surrounded by greenery, with the forest practically at your doorstep. It feels secluded and almost like being in your own little world. If you’re looking for a place to disconnect, breathe, slow down and experience the quieter side of Thailand, Mii Paa Aii is absolutely worth staying at. Come for the cabin, stay for the view, and leave wishing you had booked a few more nights.

A little corner of Japan nestled in the dense, green vegetation of northern Thailand. It was our first time staying in a traditional Japanese establishment, and I must say I was very pleased. An experience definitely worth repeating, thanks also to the unique and always helpful staff. Thank you, and see you next time.

With the help of the host from this glamping site, we rented a sedan from them to drive us from Chiang Mai airport to this location. It was very remote, and we are happy the host has such service. We are fully aware of the location, it is also the reason we came here to rest after 7 days of Bangkok trip. We were also very surprised the cleanliness of the site, there is not mosquitos or any other small insects around the camp site, which we were well prepared for that but we are very happy with the environment without worrying this. They must have done a lot of control to come to this state. Thank you! Service is very good, they have golf car to drive us to the restaurant where we can have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Dinner they will offer pizza or mookata, guess everyone will order this. We stayed at the Kissing star for 2 nights, first night we bought street food from MaeKampong for our dinner, second night we had Mookata, frankly speaking their food is not expensive too, we can hardly finish their whole set for 2 persons. As for their facilities, I think the pictures are self explained. they have marshall soundbar, enabled Netflix, youtube etc, so that one can really rest in the room, listening to the nature and watching tv. Their host can be communicated via whatsapp too, so just tell them anything you need, they will try to help. I love their hospitality even in such remote area but still trying to offer us the best!!!

We had an unforgettable and pleasant 3D2N glamping experience at the La Lanna Resort! Firstly, the resort was well maintained, spacious, cosy and clean! It has a good balance of nature & modern ammenities/facilities to make for a comfortable stay! The campervan mobile home looks just like the advertised pictures in real life ~ Secondly, service was also great, staff at the resort were generally pleasant, attentive & helpful ~ Special shout out to our receptionist Bonus who assisted us greatly before & during our stay to make sure we had everything we wanted/ needed! We really appreciated her attentiveness & prompt responses to our requests, as well as her help in settling our car transfers to/from the airport, coordinating our birthday celebration/decorations, & recommending fun activities to do around the area! Thirdly, we also loved the food & dining experience provided by the resort and were very impressed by how high quality, delicious and beautifully plated our meals were. It was really fun & unique to be able to have hotpot & mookata right outside our campervan, surrounded by nature ~ We highly recommend this resort! It’s a place that lives up to their hype/reviews.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As a solo traveller staying for one night, I was genuinely impressed with Portare Home in Mae Kampong. It strikes a perfect balance between feeling homely and offering all the amenities you’d expect from a high-quality stay, all set within a beautiful jungle environment. Arriving by car was straightforward, and one of the first things that stood out was the charming luggage pulley system that carries your bags up to the main house. It’s a small touch, but really memorable and adds to the character of the place. I was greeted by several friendly staff members, and check-in was quick and easy. The design and architecture of the property are what initially drew me in, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. I was shown to my room straight away and couldn’t have been happier. The bed was very comfortable, and the standout feature is the private balcony, which looks directly out into the surrounding jungle. It’s the kind of place you can sit for hours, just listening to nature. The room itself is thoughtfully equipped, with bathrobes, towels, a hairdryer, and a full set of bathroom amenities. There’s also a fridge stocked with cold bottled water. The bathroom was spacious, with a large shower and a beautiful freestanding bath positioned to take in the jungle views. The atmosphere really comes into its own in the evening, when the property is softly lit, creating a calm and relaxing setting. Waking up early to watch the sunrise from the balcony was a highlight. The light filtering through the trees and the sounds of the forest make it feel very special. In the morning, I was served a traditional Thai breakfast, with the option of fresh drip coffee and orange juice, which was a great start to the day. The location is also ideal, around a 10 to 15 minute walk from the main Mae Kampong village, so you’re close enough to explore while still enjoying peace and quiet. Overall, this was a really relaxing and restorative stay. I’m very glad I chose Portare Home and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mae Kampong.

The location of the hotel is a bit far inside the hills, but the view from the room is remarkable and worthy. We arrived there at 21:00 and their kitchen was almost closed, but they kindly allow us to order and had a dinner. The dishes were so yummy!!! There was a huge spider inside our room when we got into it. I asked the staff to help us through WhatsApp. He helped us to drive it away rapidly. That’s so good! The room was quite clean but the details were not good enough. The jacuzzi was so fun to use😆 Watching the stunning view with the blublublu sound was extremely chill~~~ They gave me a pack of popcorn as a thank you gift with many lines of words on the package. That was so warm and I can feel their full-hearted intention. Thank you!

Nice, rustic little homestay right in the heart of the walking street. Room was right along a beautiful little creek with a spacious balcony area and well-furnished. The main things that could be improved is to have a ledge in the shower for putting toiletries (there was none and the toilet bowl cistern was the only place to put stuff), and have more table space in the room itself to put stuff (there was plenty in the balcony, but very little in the room itself). Parking is also limited as they share the space with another homestay and you can only park on their half.

The access to the villa was covered by soil and mud. Its slippery. The room's entrance door is using glass door which can see the entire room which I dont feel comfortable. Theres no curtain or shades to cover it. Theres also a cockroach in the room.
