"A very beautiful hotel. Staffs are very nice and friendly. They even prepared a take away breakfast box for me because I had to leave very early the next morning. The only thing I would say is that there are a lot of creatures and insects especially when it gets dark but of course this is in the middle of nowhere. It's normal"

The dome itself was surprisingly cozy for something so close to nature — comfortable bed, everything working perfectly, and just a genuinely relaxing space to unwind especially with the sound of the river flowing in the background. The surroundings near Mae Kampong village added to the charm, with a quiet, peaceful setting that made the whole stay feel like a proper escape. Service was attentive while still giving privacy and check-in was smooth. For anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, well-run glamping experience near Chiang Mai, I'd book this again no question. "⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As a solo traveller staying for one night, I was genuinely impressed with Portare Home in Mae Kampong. It strikes a perfect balance between feeling homely and offering all the amenities you’d expect from a high-quality stay, all set within a beautiful jungle environment. Arriving by car was straightforward, and one of the first things that stood out was the charming luggage pulley system that carries your bags up to the main house. It’s a small touch, but really memorable and adds to the character of the place. I was greeted by several friendly staff members, and check-in was quick and easy. The design and architecture of the property are what initially drew me in, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. I was shown to my room straight away and couldn’t have been happier. The bed was very comfortable, and the standout feature is the private balcony, which looks directly out into the surrounding jungle. It’s the kind of place you can sit for hours, just listening to nature. The room itself is thoughtfully equipped, with bathrobes, towels, a hairdryer, and a full set of bathroom amenities. There’s also a fridge stocked with cold bottled water. The bathroom was spacious, with a large shower and a beautiful freestanding bath positioned to take in the jungle views. The atmosphere really comes into its own in the evening, when the property is softly lit, creating a calm and relaxing setting. Waking up early to watch the sunrise from the balcony was a highlight. The light filtering through the trees and the sounds of the forest make it feel very special. In the morning, I was served a traditional Thai breakfast, with the option of fresh drip coffee and orange juice, which was a great start to the day. The location is also ideal, around a 10 to 15 minute walk from the main Mae Kampong village, so you’re close enough to explore while still enjoying peace and quiet. Overall, this was a really relaxing and restorative stay. I’m very glad I chose Portare Home and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mae Kampong."

"Милый небольшой дом вблизи деревни Мэ Кампонг. Я останавливалась здесь на 2 ночи, и это было приятное пребывание. Номер был с мансардой, на каждом этаже двуспальная кровать. Ванная комната с душем находится в комнате. Везде чисто, девушки-сестры, владеющие этим домом, очень милые. Я прекрасно выспалась - под звуки бегущей воды (дом стоит на берегу горного ручья) на свежем воздухе. Меня приятно поразило то, что, несмотря на большую влажность, здесь не было комаров, и ночью можно спать с открытыми настежь онами. Это непередаваемое удовольствие! Завтрак обычный - тосты, хлопья, кофе, фрукты. Также было горячее блюдо - рисовый суп. Единственный небольшой минус - постельное белье на втором этаже пахло табаком. Поскольку я не курю, было неприятно, и я не стала там спать."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff went above and beyond to make our visit comfortable, memorable, and enjoyable. The facilities are modern, well-maintained, and clearly cared for, which added greatly to the overall experience.
 While the property is a bit more expensive than some alternatives, we found it to be well worth the cost. The quality of service, accommodations, and unique experiences provided excellent value.
 We are sorry that we couldn't get an elephant morning wake up call. I feel sad for the few people that complain and make life difficult for others and also for the elephants. I think the elephant enjoyed waking up humans. We were delighted to see a pair of Northern Thailand reindeer, which was an unexpected treat.
 We are already looking forward to returning and were genuinely sad to leave. Overall, this was an outstanding experience, and we would not hesitate to recommend it to others seeking a unique and memorable stay.

"Everything is good except cleanliness. The floor in the room was sticky, there was a lot of dust under the bed, bed linens had a blood spots (thanks it was changed by our request). The balcony floor and cushions were too dusty, we didn't even sit on them. The resort is good and maybe it was not the season, but I think the staff should focus on cleaning first, that's main priority goal for every resort."
