"The hotel staff were very polite and they made good food for breakfast. We stayed in the base model room. Unfortunately it was very tiny you couldnt move around, the bathroom was very mouldy and there was no hot water. The drainage system wasnt very well resulting in the whole bathroom being drenched with the towels that were given, which were basically a polyester throw so we had to dry with our tshirts.. its in a great location though 😄"

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As a solo traveller staying for one night, I was genuinely impressed with Portare Home in Mae Kampong. It strikes a perfect balance between feeling homely and offering all the amenities you’d expect from a high-quality stay, all set within a beautiful jungle environment. Arriving by car was straightforward, and one of the first things that stood out was the charming luggage pulley system that carries your bags up to the main house. It’s a small touch, but really memorable and adds to the character of the place. I was greeted by several friendly staff members, and check-in was quick and easy. The design and architecture of the property are what initially drew me in, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. I was shown to my room straight away and couldn’t have been happier. The bed was very comfortable, and the standout feature is the private balcony, which looks directly out into the surrounding jungle. It’s the kind of place you can sit for hours, just listening to nature. The room itself is thoughtfully equipped, with bathrobes, towels, a hairdryer, and a full set of bathroom amenities. There’s also a fridge stocked with cold bottled water. The bathroom was spacious, with a large shower and a beautiful freestanding bath positioned to take in the jungle views. The atmosphere really comes into its own in the evening, when the property is softly lit, creating a calm and relaxing setting. Waking up early to watch the sunrise from the balcony was a highlight. The light filtering through the trees and the sounds of the forest make it feel very special. In the morning, I was served a traditional Thai breakfast, with the option of fresh drip coffee and orange juice, which was a great start to the day. The location is also ideal, around a 10 to 15 minute walk from the main Mae Kampong village, so you’re close enough to explore while still enjoying peace and quiet. Overall, this was a really relaxing and restorative stay. I’m very glad I chose Portare Home and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mae Kampong."

"We had an absolute wonderful stay here and couldn't have asked for a better experience as a couple. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing retreat away from the noise, this is the place to be. It’s located just 5 km from the main hub, which gave us the absolute best of both worlds: total peace and tranquility at night, while still being a quick and easy drive to all the main attractions, restaurants, and sights during the day. What truly set this place apart, though, was the host. The owner is incredibly warm, helpful, and welcoming—especially if you're traveling with furry friends! It’s rare to find places that are so genuinely pet-friendly, and our pet was made to feel just as welcome as we were. Overall, it’s fantastic value for money. Spotless, peaceful, and hosted by someone who truly cares about their guests. We will definitely be coming back on our next trip! Highly recommended!"

"Милый небольшой дом вблизи деревни Мэ Кампонг. Я останавливалась здесь на 2 ночи, и это было приятное пребывание. Номер был с мансардой, на каждом этаже двуспальная кровать. Ванная комната с душем находится в комнате. Везде чисто, девушки-сестры, владеющие этим домом, очень милые. Я прекрасно выспалась - под звуки бегущей воды (дом стоит на берегу горного ручья) на свежем воздухе. Меня приятно поразило то, что, несмотря на большую влажность, здесь не было комаров, и ночью можно спать с открытыми настежь онами. Это непередаваемое удовольствие! Завтрак обычный - тосты, хлопья, кофе, фрукты. Также было горячее блюдо - рисовый суп. Единственный небольшой минус - постельное белье на втором этаже пахло табаком. Поскольку я не курю, было неприятно, и я не стала там спать."

"We stayed one night in a glamping dome at Mon Kampong Kampground and honestly, it exceeded every expectation. What struck me most was how clean and well-kept everything was — the dome felt brand new, the bedding was crisp and fresh, and there wasn't a single detail that felt overlooked. It's rare to find a nature stay this polished; usually you trade comfort for the outdoor setting, but here we got both. The dome itself was surprisingly cozy for something so close to nature — comfortable bed, everything working perfectly, and just a genuinely relaxing space to unwind especially with the sound of the river flowing in the background. The surroundings near Mae Kampong village added to the charm, with a quiet, peaceful setting that made the whole stay feel like a proper escape. Service was attentive while still giving privacy and check-in was smooth. For anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, well-run glamping experience near Chiang Mai, I'd book this again no question. One of the best stays I've had — highly recommend."

"A very beautiful hotel. Staffs are very nice and friendly. They even prepared a take away breakfast box for me because I had to leave very early the next morning. The only thing I would say is that there are a lot of creatures and insects especially when it gets dark but of course this is in the middle of nowhere. It's normal"

"Celebrated our first wedding anniversary here💚 Everything was magical! Even a pouring rain didn’t ruin the experience. The food was amazing, especially Khao Tom for breakfast. The staff was absolutely polite and welcoming. The hotel is located a little too far from the Mae Kampong village but we managed to walk up there somehow 🙃 Do not recommend walking there though! The hotel has a transfer service so you might want to use that instead. And they also provide an affordable transfer back to Chiang Mai! Overall it was a perfect stay and I would love to go there someday again."

"We had an unforgettable and pleasant 3D2N glamping experience at the La Lanna Resort! Firstly, the resort was well maintained, spacious, cosy and clean! It has a good balance of nature & modern ammenities/facilities to make for a comfortable stay! The campervan mobile home looks just like the advertised pictures in real life ~ Secondly, service was also great, staff at the resort were generally pleasant, attentive & helpful ~ Special shout out to our receptionist Bonus who assisted us greatly before & during our stay to make sure we had everything we wanted/ needed! We really appreciated her attentiveness & prompt responses to our requests, as well as her help in settling our car transfers to/from the airport, coordinating our birthday celebration/decorations, & recommending fun activities to do around the area! Thirdly, we also loved the food & dining experience provided by the resort and were very impressed by how high quality, delicious and beautifully plated our meals were. It was really fun & unique to be able to have hotpot & mookata right outside our campervan, surrounded by nature ~ We highly recommend this resort! It’s a place that lives up to their hype/reviews."
