"El hotel tiene un concepto diferente a lo conocido, tiene zonas como la cocina que está súper equipada para que el huésped se pueda preparar sus alimentos. Livings donde también se interactúa con el resto de la gente. Las instalaciones son amplias, cómodas y bien decoradas. Piscina en el piso 7mo con vista a la costa un spa completo, habitaciones grandes con camas inmensas y ropa blanca de calidad.
La atención del personal es más que esmerada. Hay cocheras con cargo y una cafetería. Está ubicado a 40m de la costanera en un entorno seguro y hermoso.
Me sorprendió por su concepto diferente pero me gustó la idea, seguro volveremos!"

BBryce van de LaarWe spent two nights in Alquimiste and we never wanted to leave! The guesthouse which is almost 100 years old is full of antique furniture, original artwork, and even has a lookout tower on the 4th floor boasting 360 views of the Carrasco neighborhood.
It is a 2 minute walk from the beach and very close to some of Montevideo’s most famous restaurants. Carolina and Mark are delightful and happy to help with anything.
The restaurant is lovely, and the breakfasts is a real treat. Hot croissants, freshly baked scones with marmalade and cream cheese, freshly squeezed orange juice, and beautifully plated granola we’re just some of our favorites.
Staying at Alquimiste, you really feel like you are apart of something special!

PPengguna TetamuHotel lindíssimo, ótimo atendimento e localização privilegiada, a piscina é sensacional. Só achei bem desagradável cobrar a parte 10 dolares o eggs bennedict no café da manhã. Nenhum hotel 5 estrelas pode ser deselegante a esse ponto. Nunca vi isso em nenhum que me hospedei.

drive to Carrasco International Airport.
We stayed Hotel Costanero Montevideo - MGallery for 1 night, and I must say that the services provided exceeded our expectations. From the customer service representatives at the reception, bar, and all the staff at Cauce made our stay very comfortable and felt welcomed.
Breakfast is served at Cauce restaurant located on the 1st floor overlooking the beach and breakfast menu exceeded our expectations. There are a variety of croissants and pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon, fruits, yoghurt, and coffee. We were given 2 complimentary welcome drinks at the bar.
The swimming pool and sauna are located on the 2nd floor and are clean and new. The gym is new and equipped with modern cardio and weight equipment.
Our room is a king-size room overlooking the beach on the 3rd floor. The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is modern, and the bed linen and towels were impeccable. We can enjoy the seaview by lying on our bed.

AAdrian (London)The hotel is in a great location in the old town. It's only about a ten minute walk to the Buquebus Terminal. There are lots of shops and restaurants in the area. It's also close to some sights like the Cathedral.
There are buses on the street but I didn't use them. Instead I used Uber and Taxis. In this way it was easy to reach places like the Football Museum and the main Coach Station.
The Seaside walkway is close by as is a Museum and the famous La Faramacia Coffee Shop which is in an old Pharmacy.
Breakfast is good but apart from this the hotel has no facilities. Even the laundry service wasn't operating as the washing machine was broken.

Ну почему отели не предоставляют хотя бы одну маленькую бутылку воды?! Пришлось идти в супермаркет, тоже через дорогу. На завтраки можно сказать практически ничего нет. Тостовый хлеб, масло, джем, один вид нарезки сыра и ветчины, кофе, молоко, сок и мюсли. Не было ни овощей, ни фруктов, ни йогуртов. Выпечка 2-3 вида абсолютно безвкусная. Омлет просить надо. Иначе бы вообще осталась голодной. Переночевать можно, но завтраки точно не рекомендую брать.

EEvan WilliamThe hostel was well located in the old city. It was very close to museums and shops. The building is old and beautiful. I stayed in a single and it was very spacious. I have only two complaints: the perfume on the cleaning supplies (on linens or otherwise) was overwhelming. The first night, I woke up and I could taste it. The other complaint is about the state of the carpet and couch. Both were pretty stained and not well-maintained.
The above said, it was a nice stay. The room was big, the staff were friendly, and it was very well located. I would recommend this to a traveler looking to save a little money.

MMister StephenAt first I didn't like the look of this hotel. There was graffiti outside and my room was cold. I spent most the night looking at more expensive hotels. The next day I was glad I didn't change to another hotel. The heater in the room eventually did its job. The location turned out not to be so bad. The breakfast was good. The desk staff were very helpful. It worked out well, but next time I would book a hotel near Pocitos.
