This is a hotel build 1955 with a lot of soul !! Yes its seen its been used for many years but the soul and the service and dedication Staff Way compensate for this ! At the front of the Hotel there is s outdoor 35 degree heated pool with a Great (No Clothes) Wellness and Sauna area 4 x Saunas and Steam .. The breakfast was very good Also served by dedicated friendly Staff.. The Gym doesnt come much better at a hotel and i visited a Lot the last 20 years.. TechnoGym new with the most magnificent view and great Cardio gear also Technogym🙏🏼 The park is right outside u feel like far away from a city turn 180 degrees after hours of walking in the park and you walk straight into Bremen.. My advise don’t expect some newly renovated hotel but a house with soul lot of memories and warm and relax in the pool and park 🙏🏼

Sehr angenehm, wir hatten zwei Übernachtungen in der größeren Familie mit Kind und Großmutter in zwei Zimmern nebeneinander. Wir waren insgesamt vollauf zufrieden;, die Zimmer sauber und zweckmäßig mit einer sehr guten Matratze. Die Lage zur Straße war am Wochenende überhaupt nicht störend, so dass man bei offenem Fenster schlafen konnte. Lobenswert ist auchder Frühstücksraum mit den verschiedenen, auch etwas abgelegenen Sitzmöglichkeiten und einer ausgesprochen freundlichen Bedienung. das Frühstücksangebit ist klassenüblicher Standard, wenig regional typisches. Wahrgenommen haben wir auch den Mittagsbrunch am Wochenende. Auch hier war der gute Service zu loben, das Angebot war ihr gehobener Durchschnitt. Besonders gefallen hat uns allerdings abends die Bar mit einer freundlichen und diskreten Atmosphäre und herausragend guter Weinkarte. insgesamt ein sehr entspannter Aufenthalt am Wochenende, wozu auch die ruhige Situation in der Lobby und das rundum freundliche Personal beigetragen haben.

Stayed at this Hotel for 3 nights 9th till 12th November and had a very pleasant trip. I have used this Hotel many times over many years and the booking has always been excellent. At the risk of repeating myself... the room and bathroom are a great size and very clean. During covid, the rooms are not cleaned daily unless you request it. The breakfast has many hot and cold choices, and is usually included in the price as is the free travel ticket. Town and transport links are very close to the Hotel as is the railway station next to the premises. I write this review to make a special mention of the Hotel Manager Oliver Steding. I had a problem completing my u.k. locator form in that I could not make the link on my smartphone or indeed the government website, although the wifi signal was very good. He sat with me with his laptop and managed to complete the form and supplied me with a printout. A service above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you for a gret stay.

Een redelijk goed moderner hotel in een oud gebouw. Je blijft dus dingen tegenkomen die kraken of nog gedateerd zijn, zoals de badkamer. Wel alles netjes schoon. Het ontbijt is prima. Grote variëteit. De auto parkeren is even goed puzzelen en je spiegels inklappen om door de poortjes heen te komen.

The Ibis Budget hotel is in a great location right opposite the Hauptbahnhof (main train station for the city). If you’re looking to go to the Bremer Freimarkt in October, it’s right behind the Hauptbahnhof so you couldn’t find a better place. The Altstadt (old town) isn’t far away either, and you can get buses, trams or taxis right outside. This isn’t a hotel for peace and quiet - there is lots going on around it and it was fairly noisy inside and out with all the hustle and bustle of city life. We booked online and I was able to check in prior to arrival which was helpful - on arrival we just picked up keys and signed the forms, and the bill was sent later by email. The room is as you’d expect - very basic but clean and tidy. Everything worked and it all looked fresh. The beds were fairly comfortable and the shower was good. Unfortunately our air conditioning didn’t seem to work properly - there seemed to be no cooling function. As a consequence the room got really hot and stuffy overnight. We couldn’t really open the door because the city outside was noisy. The other serious issue we had was returning to our room after a day out to find it had been left unlocked by the cleaners. Luckily nothing had been taken, but I was not happy. The price was reasonable and the 12pm checkout is later than many hotels. We just had to drop our keys in a box in the lobby. In summary - this hotel’s best asset is its location. If you want to be in the middle of things:l, this place is for you.
