Ulasan Harbourside Hostel Bristol

My experience with this hotel booking was very disappointing—I had to cancel my stay due to a severe illness and provided evidence to support my case, but despite approaching them twice for this they refused to offer even a partial refund.

Booked the 5 bed room for a good price. Friendly welcome at reception, shown to room. Hostel in a good central location. Comfortable bed, clean room and facilities. Amenities pretty basic but perfect place for an affordable and safe bed for the night. Would stay again.

It’s five of you just want a place to sleep, but for me, I will definitely not book again. No kitchen and required £20 cash deposit (service charge will included if you pay by card), next to the main road and is affected by the car sound, no kitchen, kettle, microwave etc

the bed was just fine. the bed sheets were clean but the room was crowded. it is a place just crash and get up to get back into the business.

Great place to live as a shared hostel, best among its competitors, staff is quite friendly and make u feel like home, some limitations may remove in near future as more improvements are coming to this place. Will be priority among others especially on these competitive rates... Good business model with better bedding mechanism.

The staff were friendly, though I was greeted with a long list of rules I had to agree to (including no food or drink inside my room, which is rather bizarre considering the hostel is not very clean or well maintained. I don't know why this rule exists) and then had to pay a £20 cash deposit. There are a lot of stairs up to the rooms, so it's not disabled friendly if that's what you need. I had booked a single private room, and it was a very small basic room with just a window, single bed, a bedside table and a very bright overhead ***** light. This is all I needed, though a lamp would have been nice so it wasn't so bright. The shared shower/toilet/sink facilities (each in their own separate rooms - so gross door handles. Two of the showers were also out of order. If you require a mirror, you need to use the 'sink room') are down a long corridor and shared between many rooms/dorms. This wasn't a problem, but did feel a little unsafe at night. It's quite noisy, for some reason it got quite rowdy in the hostel between 2-4am, and the street noise picked up at 6am which is easily heard through the thin window. But all I needed was a bed for the night, so it did the job. Upon checkout, they inspected my room before returning my cash deposit, which felt a little awkward. The location is excellent, it's right in the centre, with everything you need around. If you just need a bed and don't mind noise, it's fine. It's just truly bizarre about the no food/drink policy, especially as it's not the cleanest place, and people were clearly smoking in their rooms/the toilets.
