Perfekte Lage um die Innenstadt zu erkunden. Personal war freundlich. Zimmer waren modern mit guter Klimaanlage und das größte und bequemste Bett dass ich jemals in einem Hotel gefunden hab. Frühstück war ausreichend. Nicht überwältigend aber für den Start in den Tag mehr als ok. Kaution bei 3 Nächte mit über 400 Euro doch recht hoch. zu beachten wenn man mit dem Auto anreist. Öffentlich Parken vor Ort war nicht möglich und die Parkpreise des Hotels sind doch relativ hoch, auch im Umfeld Zone A und B sind die Preise für Parken nicht grade billig. Am Samstag und Sonntag ist Parken in Zone B aber kostenlos, das hat für uns das Problem zufriedenstellend gelöst. An und für sich ein sehr schönes Hotel dass seinen Sternen durchaus gerecht wird.

Bardzo przyzwoity hotel położony w idealnym miejscu (centrum Starego Miasta), z którego wszędzie jest blisko. Plusem jest możliwość bezpośredniego podjechania pod wejście hotelu, co nie jest takie oczywiste w przypadku innych tego rodzaju obiektów znajdujących się w sąsiedztwie, ze względu na pieszą strefę, do której wjazd jest bardzo utrudniony, a niekiedy niemożliwy. Pokój utrzymany w standardzie z lat '20 ubiegłego wieku. Wygodny, podobnie jak łóżko z dość twardym materacem. Śniadania na bardzo przyzwoitym poziomie. Miła i pomocna obsługa. Można żałować, że hotel nie dysponuje dużym parkingiem na miejscu, lecz odprowadza auta do garażu, ale ma to też plusy, ponieważ auto wraca czyste i jest dostępne bez większych problemów - wystarczy poprosić obsługę i po paru minutach samochód jest gotowy do odbioru. W dniu wyjazdu samochód miałem podstawiony bez uprzedniej prośby, więc też miło. Wokół dużo ciekawy i historycznych atrakcji, więc miejsce jest godne polecenia.

Sehr großes Hotel, welches allein durch seine Größe hervorsticht. Ein bisschen haftet dem haus noch der 80er/90er-Jahre-”Flair” an, aber im großen und Ganzen ein gutes Hotel. Mein Zimmer war sauber und nicht sehr groß, hatte eine interessante Farbgestaltung und einen pflegeleichten PVC-Boden ohne Teppiche. Ausgestattet war das Zimmer mit Minibar, Wasserkocher und Kaffeemaschine (Braun ”Tassimo”). Dusche und Toilette waren separiert, das Bad war ausreichend groß. Beim Wasserdruck gab es ein kleines Problem, man braucht schon sehr lange, ehe man mal nass ist. Kann am Stockwerk liegen oder der Luftbeimischer macht hier ein bisschen zu gute Arbeit. WLAN funktioniert, ist aber nicht das schnellste. Im Haus gibt es eine Parkgarage, die man quasi nutzen muss, wenn man sich in der Stadt nicht auskennt (etwa 15,- Eur/Nacht). Es ist dringend zu empfehlen, mit einem kleinen Auto anzureisen. Die Parkplätze sind sehr eng und die inzwischen leider grassierenden SUVs reklamieren mal grundsätzlich 2 Stellplätze für sich. Das Frühstück ist gut und hat viel Auswahl. Leider hat der Speisesaal noch die Atmosphäre einer Sowjet-Kantine, aber das Personal ist sehr freundlich und fleißig. Insgesamt ein gutes Hotel, aber auch nicht billig.

The hotel is nicely decorated in a modern style. It also has congress hall and an interesting attraction - a large pendulum. The breakfast was excellent, with an outstanding selection of food. The room was big and clean, the bed was comfortable. There were also kettle and coffee maker in the room. We parked the car in the hotel garage, which is nicely arranged. Access to the garage is a bit tricky, from the back street.

Room 002. At the back of the property, on the ground floor, looking out over the carpark. Whilst a room overlooking the street may have been nice, I was only sleeping in the room as I was on a business trip and out all day. Rather surprised there was no tea / coffee / kettle in the room facilities in the room. Despite hanging my towels in the radiator every day, they were changed for fresh everyday... The room was quite dim, being as the window looked out onto the carpark and was surrounded by other 4 -and 5-story properties. The furniture was a little ”old” and warn, and the wardrobe needed a firm push to close. There was also a mildly damp / musty smell in the wardrobe... I got the feeling that Rm002 was an overflow room and not used that often as it was not on a oar with the phots of other rooms that I had seen on line prior to booking! However, the breakfast was good, the reception staff excellent and the location very good. Good bars / restaurants close by and only a 10-minute walk from the centre of Brno, World I stay again? Yes, for the location, but I'd ask NOT to be in Rm002 but to be in one of the upper floors. WARNING - Taxis: Got a taxi from the Railway Station to the hotel. Hailed at a rank etc etc. Charged CZK 500- for the trip which was excessive. No meter in the cab, cash only and no receipt... The cab that the hotel ordered for me to take me back to the station was CZK 200-, accepted card payment and gave a receipt. That is not a reflection on the hotel but be aware!

The Royal Ricc is centred right in the heart of Brno just off Zelny Trh (Vegetable Market). Both cathedral and castle are within easy walking distance as is the railway station. The reception area has a fine vaulted ceiling - setting the tone of the historic rooms above. I had a spacious front facing room - with painted ceiling overlooking the street and an outside bar opposie, I was worried about street noise late at night -but the sound proofing is very effective as I heard no outside noise. The bed was very comfortable and the en suite bathroom (with bath) was great. Breakfast is standard buffet fare - more than enough to set me up for the day. Disliked · more plugs in the room, and the lighting could be better if you wanted to ead for a long time (but why would you as the city is fanastic)
