Marriott upper-scale properties, such as their Autograph Collection &/or Tribute Portfolio brands, continue to miss the mark. Weak management seems to plague many of these properties & consistent delivery of Marriott's Bonvoy Program only exists in the minds of HQ Executives. The experience of Bonvoy Members is something quite different in reality, since members NEVER know what to expect until they check in. Just finished 12 nights in 6 different European Marriott brands in 3 countries & only 1 even bothered to acknowledge our lifetime elite membership status. Otherwise, we received the same treatment as a guest staying at a Marriott property for the 1st time. The Marmorosch is indeed a beautiful property -- or at least the exterior & lobby area are. The rooms themselves are more more like Fairfield Inn properties in the US. Basic to the extreme & poor housekeeping was evident throughout the property. Trash that littered the floor on arrival was still there 3 days later, as were the blood droplets on the bathroom floor, & one has to question what type of housekeeping would leave a bed in the condition of the one in the attached photos? Only 1 side of the huge hand-pull drapes worked & could be opened, so we called to ask that someone be sent to fix the other side. A pleasant gentleman promptly appeared to tell us that they could not fix the drapes because a separate company had to be scheduled to do the repair. We subsequently learned from an honest employee that the non-functioning drapes issue has plagued the property since opening & is well known to owner/management. The property was previously a bank so there is a bar in the lower level Vault area, which one would incorrectly assume to be a beautiful & sophisticated location for cocktails. Unfortunately, as you descend the stairs to the lower level the loud & pulsating disco music immediately lets you know that your expectations are incorrect. We looked in the door & decided to not even bother entering & returned to the beautiful Lobby for drinks, but left after 15 minutes when no one arrived at the bar to offer service, & others who were waiting when we arrived were still unserved when we departed. Breakfast was a manic mess since the room where it is served is not capable of meeting guest needs if the hotel is more than 75% occupied. Many of the food items that should be hot are cold & unappetizing. Never saw a breakfast menu on a table in the first 2 days of our stay, & only after asking about cooked-to-order items that were being served around us on the 3rd day, were we given a menu with several options that are, in fact, available for breakfast. Check-in was the biggest fiasco we have ever encountered at ANY Marriott property. A full 50 minutes to check-in with only 2 employees manning the 4-5 positions & the Bonvoy Member sign on the front desk was completely meaningless. Struttura con posizione ottima super centrale. Camera molto bella al quarto pian, pulita curata e silenziosa. Molto apprezzato il servizio piscina, sauna e palestra. Self check-in comodo e funzionale, Concierge disponibile. Consiglio alla struttura di scrivere più informazioni dettagliate su booking ad esempio a quale email bisogna inviare i documenti personali per avere i codici di accesso alla struttura, perchè nei dettagli della prenotazione non è specificato e abbiamo dovuto contattare noi il call center dall’ Italia che fortunatamente peró è stato veloce e disponibile nell’ aiutarci.

Centrally located . Interesting Neighbourhood with Jewish Memorial and good bistros . Attract by “trademark collection by Wyndham “ no indication there is any link to the name local feel and manage . Room has good window lookout to street .

The hotel is well located. The interior of the hotel is nice. But the room, better to renew. Room 101 requires the new carpet and renew most of the furniture. The breakfast is nice. The parking is limited with max high of the car 1,9 meters.

On the reservation email it doesn’t say anything about a early entry fee but we was told by WhatsApp that we have to pay a 10£ right after we go in the apartament

The hotel is situated a few metres from the Gara de Nord railways station and underground station, so it is very easy to reach. The check-in procedure was fast, room clean with a large bed, toilet, shower, TV set, hairdryer etc. The door is card-operated, mine unfortunately didn´t work properly, so I had to go to the reception desk twice but the girl was really helpful. Breakfast is served in the adjacent building from 7 .00 to 10.30, quite a good range of things to choose from. Wi-fi connection strong and stable. Next time in Bucharest I will definitely try to get a room here again.

Hotel My Continental Gara De Nord provided a solid base for our four days of exploring Bucharest. A very convenient location, regarding the metro and railway station; and within a walkable distance (around 20 min) to the centre. The hotel was clean and safe; our room offered everything we needed and general ambience was pleasant. What deserves a special mention, is the restaurant staff at breakfast times (good-humoured and very professional) as well as breakfast on offer – plentiful, fresh and tasty. Also, a nice vibe there in the evenings with an attentive and lovely gentleman at the bar. Thank you for a positive experience, looking forward to coming back …

Sehr zu empfehlen! Saubere Zimmer, sehr große Vielfalt beim Frühstücksbuffet und mit dem Bus 331 gut an das Zentrum angebunden. Triumphbogen, Freilichtmuseum und der Park Herastrau fußläufig erreichbar. Vielen Dank für den tolle Aufenthalt!!
