The hotel locates at a very excellent location. Many main attraction points around it. The restaurant for breakfast buffet has a very good view. ALL the staff of the front desk is very helpful and nice. I arrive on the morning and they help to check the availability of the room. They allow the customer to have early check in early when the availability of the room is OK. Everything of the hotel is good. I recommend other people to stay at this hotel when they come to Budapest. I will stay again in Hilton Budapest when I visit there again.

Great location right in the centre, very easy to get to everywhere we’d planned to go! The bar area has been shut since Covid and they had a sauna and gym on our floor but they were out too. Room was nice, clean and spacious. As was the bathroom with a beautiful big shower bath!

We stay here when on business in Budapest, and usually don't have problems but staying in 315 recently we were put next to people having a party in 317, it was really noisy, some kind of last night in Budapest flight crew thing. Why would you put business people next to party people? It just made no sense. We got moved for the night to a quieter suite on same floor, 323, which was great but the next day the front desk ”miscommunicated” us to the breakfast area to collect our breakfast boxes. Its puzzling. Overall the staff are super friendly and things usually go without a hitch and on that basis I would recommend. I really hope standards aren't slipping as it would be a shame.

This hotel is located very close to Buda castle and Fishermen bastion. It’s a 4 star hotel but with 2 stars standard. Rooms are bit outdated. Very small tv that’s also high on the wall. Very small room. Rooms weren’t soundproofed. You can hear everyone talking outside the in the corridors. No electric kettle. Breakfast was €19 per person which I believe bit expensive. Staff wasn’t that much friendly. As a location I can highly recommend but nothing else.

Stayed 5 nights for a conference with 3 other colleagues. Quaint hotel that looks its age. Had very friendly and helpful staff handling check in/out. Had taken a suite, but it was rather small. Main door opened into an anteroom with 2 internal doors - 1 of which led into bedroom (just enough space for a double bed with 2 small side tables). The other door led into a small living room (space for dressing table, couch, TV, and a small round table with a chair). Bathroom is a little dim. Breakfast buffet had standard ham and cheese cuts, scrambled eggs, breads, cereals, fruits - repeated daily. Noticed the staff change the cutlery after each dinner, but the placemats on the table is not changed. Location is excellent with nearby train and bus station leading to all major attractions. Also have supermarkets nearby.

We arrived expecting a hotel of 4* standard for our 5 night stay. How disappointing. Reception is as one might expect in a 2 or 3 star B&B. There is practically no lobby or seating area and the whole area is very small and spartan. The person on reception was very reluctant to provide us with two room keys and when he did the keys had the hotel name and room taped onto them. What sort of security is that? The room was very small and basic (although clean), not at all what one expects in a 4* premises. Our room didn't look even vaguely like any of the rooms on their website. Breakfast was very poor, really limited selection, unclean areas around the small buffet and quite unpleasant staff. We almost had to beg for two teabags even though there were packets of them in the bar area. We checked out immediately after breakfast and booked into a proper 4* hotel.

The room is big and clean. Beds come with extra pillows. Shower area comes with sliding door. The location is superb...just behind is the famous Verci Street. The ” Ham restaurant serves very good jumon ham and goliush soup. The staff is very friendly. Especially Mr. Feri who help us with late check out as our flight is late in the evening.

Having read the reviews i was very apprehensive about our stay here, but we were pleasantly surprised. We checked in around 9pm, had a warm welcome and a quick check in. We had to put a code in to access the lift, then the key card to take us to room. All very secure. Our room was clean and warm. It had a fridge and a decent tv. Going out that night it was pouring with rain and the receptionist gave us his umbrella to borrow...total gent! Throughout our stay we were not disturbed or bothered by other guests. We felt happy and secure We checked out on the Monday, but had a few hours before heading to the airport. We were able to keep our luggage at the hotel free of charge in a locked luggage room. We had a great stay and would stay again. Its an old building like alot of others in Budapest, and there are some other flats and residents who stay in the building, but it was all very secure, the building is operated by motion lights, so it seems dark but the lights come on as you walk along. if you are looking for something 4 or 5 star this isnt you place, but a comfy bed, warm shower and great location for exploring!

Our daughter booked us this hotel as part of a 3 night trip to Budapest as a Christmas gift. After visiting Budapest herself, she thought we’d love it so booked us the trip. I don’t normally write reviews, but I thought the hotel had been served an injustice with lots of the other reviews we’d read. We’d read lots that said it was in an awful and unsafe area. The hotel is on a side street, in a city away from the centre, no different to any side street in a city we’d seen before. We saw one homeless person in a doorway, and sometimes people gathered chatting outside the Spar shop at the top of the road, and the other shops…not much of a problem. We didn’t feel unsafe or find the street to be noisy. You are a little bit out of the centre, but the bus stop and metro are conveniently located just around the corner. We used the bus which was very cheap, or free, as sometimes we were just waved on. Once inside our room we heard very little noise, from within the hotel itself, or from the road outside…only the occasional siren. The towels and sheet’s were good, and the room clean, pillows also nice quality and extras in the wardrobe. Room a comfortable temperature. The beds are low to the ground, and the mattresses firmer than we are used to, but after a 12 hour day sightseeing, and a few cocktails/beers we slept reasonably well. Little ******s with the room, a kettle with tea/coffee making facilities would have been nice for a morning cuppa before heading out. There is a small bar in the reception area where you could get coffee though, and plenty of cafes on the main street. The hairdryer overheated quite quickly and cut out. But only minor issues. The staff were not particularly chatty (us Brits love a chat!) however, helpful and courteous when needed. All in all a good stay and a good base to explore…what do you do from a hotel room? For us to sleep and shower 🤷🏻‍♀️ Budapest is an amazing city, so much to see and do, we absolutely loved exploring, enjoy!

At this price it would be really difficult to beat this hotel. Even though the rooms are a little old-fashioned, everything was clean, the view was great and there was air conditioning. It is in quiet area and beds are really comfortable so we got a good night sleep. If you are looking for a hotel at a reasonable price and dont mind walking a bit to get to the city center it is a really good choice.
