Overall good stay. Staff are polite and helpful. Clean, super big room with a swing and projector TV. Perhaps for my 2 young kids under 8. 2 big bed. Allow late check out on our last day, plus point. Washer and dryer just outside our room. Breakfast was excellant but have to walk 10 mins- in minus 3 degree 😆 Didi drop off is 200m walk away. Its ok. Room drain choke on 2nd day but they fix it fast (someone off the basement suction pump). Highly recommended.

Located inside the Datong old city, the inn itself is a historic building and has a history of its own. There are many interesting decors to look at in the property. The location is excellent and nearby some very good restaurants. It has a laundry room with 2 washers and 1 dryer which are very important in my opinion.The room was very nice, the cleanliness was very good and kept in very good condition. Although there was no rotating menu for the buffet breakfast each morning, the food is good and there's also beef/lamb offal rice noodles on request. The best parts about the hotel are the staff and service. They were extremely welcoming and friendly. I usually get disappointed by restaurant recommendations by hotel staff but all the restaurants recommended were excellent and not overly expensive. They could help you make a reservation (those restaurants get super busy on weekends and holidays) as well if you don't speak Chinese. We had to check out really early on the last day and the staff promptly packed us some eggs and bread for breakfast even though we didn't request it the night prior. I'm sure if you request it the day/night before, they'll be able to pack you something more substantial. I don't normally leave reviews but this property was worth my time.

Unfortunately, the overall stay was not great. When we booked the hotel, we specifically requested a non-smoking room, which is essential for us because of health issues. After double confirming with the hotel that they have non-smoking rooms (based on the website, all rooms are non smoking), we paid for our booking. However, shortly after, they informed us that smoking in hotel rooms is common and unavoidable in Taiyuan. We felt deceived into making the payment and realized we were stuck with this accommodation for our 7-day stay. Upon checking in, we had to request a room change due to a strong smoke smell in the original room. The second room was better and the hotel staff was nice enough to provide an air purifier. Throughout our entire stay, people were smoking in the elevator, lobby, and even at the dinner table. If we had known this beforehand, we would have reconsidered staying here. For a 5-star hotel, it did not meet our expectations, and unfortunately, we paid far too much for this experience. The only highlight of our stay was the hotel staff. They were always friendly, helpful, and did their very best to serve the guests, which made our trip a bit more enjoyable. We thank them for their excellent service.

Great location inside the ancient city! Super easy access to all the main attractions! The hotel has an incredible courtyard (the most beautiful in all Pingyao). They gave us an upgraded room that was really spacious and super comfortable, modern, very clean and tidy (nice bed, shower and very quiet). Great breakfast and also great restaurant to have lunch or dinner with lots of great food! All the staff were welcoming and helpful! The young lady gave us a map that optimized our itinerary and even suggested some sites that we didn’t know (and were really great). Really recommend this hotel for everyone! The best place to stay inside the old city!

大同老牌高檔酒店了，能看到房間裝修在以前算非常豪華了，傢俱都是實木的，房間和洗手間都打掃乾乾淨淨的，晚上還有開夜床服務，送了脆脆鯊；酒店裡麪每一位工作人員態度都很好，大門口的迎賓員小哥，二樓餐廳別著實習生牌牌的小妹妹，都笑呵呵的。餐廳核桃派也是真的好吃，是本地人會去的飯店，還有早餐，挺豐富的，早餐的羊雜粉好吃，羊雜給超多！還有咖啡也好喝，有服務員現磨還能拉花，唯一一個小問題就是咖啡點單和拿取太混亂了，點完要等 本來服務員説給送，催了兩次都説馬上好，但是有其他客人到那就拿剛做好的，而不是按順序來，最後也還是自取的，這樣還不如一開始就告訴自取，這個可以優化下 排個號哈哈。其他都非常滿意！酒店地理位置也超好，古城裡每個景點距離都很近，走路幾分鐘 十幾分鍾可以到達的，尤其距離華嚴寺和其他幾個網紅餐廳。來大同玩很推薦了。

設施：臨時決定飛太原，訂完機票直接下單酒店，幾乎沒細看也沒有做功課，完全信任攜程的服務所以推薦了這家就下單，到了發現物超所值，智能化裝修，40樓的前台也是麻雀雖小 五臟俱全，洗衣房健身室還有咖啡吧，非常適合商務和帶長者孩子家庭出遊！ 衞生：這個檔次的消費，有這個打掃標準我表示滿意的，五星級酒店的常客當然一定要挑剔那就是枕套被子啥的可以熨燙更平一些哈哈哈 環境：地理位置優越，飛機下來我是地鐵到理工大學站打個車很快，太原地鐵一號線不錯可以跟魔都的14這種新線媲美！ 服務：微信羣服務，管家服務有求必應，下午茶的點心味道還挺不錯呢嘿嘿 「至臻享」現磨咖啡:服務員妹妹態度很好，咖啡體驗了兩口 「愜意享」雙人下午茶:小點心不錯配的普洱茶

The hotel is beautiful! The photos don’t do justice, is really lovely and cozy. The room is modern and comfortable, rest assured you will have the essentials and more. The staff was extremely kind, very attentive, friendly and with an English speaker. Our train was delayed and the staff was patient enough to wait for us and still give us a warm welcome. We loved this town, unique, traditional with lots of places to explore. The visitor tickets are valid for 3 days so you can take your time to enjoy.

We booked at Fengqi jiuting hotel on a family trip to Taiyuan and it exceeded all our expectations. The location is super convenient, on the edge of the bustling Zhong Lou Jie area, with so many food and dining options accessible on foot. The rooms are spacious, with heated floors (a godsend in winter), and nice amenities. It’s a beautiful hotel decked out with contemporary art and was a pleasure to stay at. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and made our trip that much easier. Would definitely recommend.

酒店在古城外面，距離古城幾公里，周邊環境屬於後打造的新城市，停車場很大，停車十分方便，酒店的設施比較齊全，早餐很豐富，口味也很好，照顧了天南海北的客人。可能是清明假期到了吧，第1天入住的費用是200多元。第2天再想續住的時候，突然發現價格起到了翻一番，衹能搬到古城裡麪去住。酒店還有一項温馨的服務，那就是接站。由於我是一個人到大同，所以給酒店預約了接站，列車到達大同南站時，接站的同志已經早早在等待，誇獎贊一個。可能是大同整體的城市環境影響吧。酒店的周邊環境不是很好，配套也不是很方便，吃飯購物還是不如古城裡麪方便。總之來説，這個酒店的性價比還是可以的，平時對一些出差、自駕的朋友應該説還是可以選擇的。
