Regente Palace Hotel

Péssima experiência. Hotel velho, antiquado, limpeza sofrível conforme fotos, café da manhã fraco. Não recomendo

부에노스아이레스를 여행하기 좋은 최고의 위치에 있는 호텔이다. 객실은 깔끔하지만 오래된 호텔로 쾌쾌한 냄새가 난다. 다양한 음식이 준비된 조식부페는 최고였다.

Hotel bem localizado, perto de subte e perto das principais atrações do microcentro de Buenos Aires. As instalações são dos anos 80, mas estão passando por reforma, o que tem o potencial de melhorar a estada no médio prazo. O quarto é espaçoso, com bom isolamento acústico e térmico. O atendimento é cordial. Não são tolerantes com antecipação de chegada (cheguei às 13h30 e tive que esperar até 14h para entrar). O café da manhã tem uma boa diversidade de cereais, frutas e muitas "facturas", quase uma vitrine de media-lunas e outros tipos de massas doces. Senti falta apenas de ovos mexidos. É uma excelente opção com bom custo-benefício.

Others have commented that some aspects of the rooms are dated and tired BUT everything functioned perfectly, the linen and towels etc were spotless and the air conditioning perfect. Any shortcomings in the fabric of the room were however more than compensated for by the warmth and efficiency of the staff. Eliana welcomed us at reception and couldn't have been more helpful and amiable. Her colleague Rocio was similarly disposed, and nothing was too much trouble. Roberto, the concierge was constantly available to assist too, and always ready to go the extra mile. The array at breakfast was extraordinary with constant replenishment and variety. The staff there too worked tirelessly in keeping on top of things - no idle chat or constant looking at mobiles... and unusually in our experience the cutlery was polished before being placed in the baskets. The staff and ambience they created made our stay a joy. We have stayed in other hotels in the city, some seemingly more swish BUT I would return here without hesitation. I found it the best cost/benefit surprise after coming to Buenos Aires annually for more than 20 years: Good location, helpful gracious staff, clean , a little aged rooms, perfect breakfast with smiling helpful personnel, refrigerators in every room, gym, good beds and relatively quiet neighborhood. What is more to wish for ?

I liked this hotel. For 1/3 to 1/2 the price of better known hotels, the Regent Palace was clean, comfortable, staff friendly, and well located. Centrally located for walking to the grand blvds., restaurants, and parks. It seems popular with the Latin American guests.

**This is not an accessible Hotel.** When I first saw the hotel in the website it looked nice and reasonably priced. I wrote to them asking if it was accessible and if the rooms had showers instead of bathtubs ;since I am unable to lift my legs to get into a one, and they replied that the one room that was accessible was not available but that there were showers in the other rooms and that I should be ok. This was not true, as all rooms had bathtubs that were 3' high. Also the bathrooms were old, dated and very narrow making it imposible at times to go in comfortably.The room was very old looking, it felt dirty and had a few things that were just not right.The bed was old and had a metal around the mattress like if it was with the coils in the old times and when I sat on it it really hurt my leg. Very uncomfortable. the room was not big at all. I saw the ramp in-front of the hotel in the pictures and thought ok, at least I'll be able to get up the ramp to enter or exit the hotel. I did not anticipate it being so steep. Not even walking can you use the ramp, yet alone with a walker ( like I have) or a wheelchair. it would be impossible. even the Taki man who helped me said it was ridiculous to have such a steep ramp. The staff helped me get my money back since I only spent one night there. The only "accessible" room they have is at least 175 m from the front door!! I do not recommend this place.
