Excellent service, helpful and friendly owners as well as staff. Beautiful setting. Nice food and variety in breakfast and salad buffet. Would definitely recommend it and we will be visiting again to enjoy walks in the neighbouring Moosalp.

We had a great weekend at the Bürchnerhof Hotel. Room was very nice, with everything we needed. Nice clean bathroom. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was a traditional buffet style with so much to choose from. We had half board and the evening 4 course meals were excellent. Also a good choice of local and international wines. The hotel location is very convenient with ample parking and a situated perfectly for the ski slopes of Bürchen/Zenhäusern. All in all definitely to be recommended.

Delightful and cosy hotel. Excellent and very friendly and welcoming hosts. We were only here for 2 days but felt like we belonged. Our room was perfect - cosy and very clean and we had a balcony. Throughout the chalet there were many decorations - such attention to loving detail. Excellently located too and near the ski hills, even though we don’t ski. Thank you very much for the memorable stay!

Hotel-Restaurant Bürchnerhof in Bürchen was the last long stay during a month-long vacation to Austria and Switzerland. We stayed 5 nights, and both relaxed around the hotel and made frequent trips down to Visp and on to Zermatt. It was definitely the recharge we needed after the chaos of Vienna at Christmas! There are so many beautiful places to hike (or ski) in the area and the bus that runs through town makes everything very easily accessible when you don’t have a car with you. The hosts and their staff were absolutely wonderful - they are very focused on guest comfort and so accommodating and friendly (especially for those who cannot speak the language). The hotel itself beautiful, very cozy and thoughtfully decorated with handmade details. The rooms are comfortable and have spectacular views if you select the mountain side when booking. It has a lot of charm and soul, much like the whole area of Bürchen and they highlight the local experience in many ways. We did not get to join for dinner often due to conflicting plans we had made, but we took full advantage of their delicious breakfast selection each day and the dinner menus for guests looked excellent. The night we were able to dine in for dinner the food was rich and hearty, and we definitely would come back just to eat at the restaurant on our next trip. New Years Eve fell in the middle of our stay and they had a fantastic party and dinner (my husband and I both came down with head colds so we did not attend to avoid sharing our germs, but from what we glimpsed it was quite a good time). We elected to stay on our room’s balcony and watch the fireworks across the valley, and that was also a memorable experience! The New Years Day breakfast buffet the next morning was spectacular - they place so much attention to detail on presentation and variety, the decorations and presentation of the food was so pretty, it’s truly an experience everyone would enjoy. Very family friendly and at the same time a romantic getaway for couples. We will certainly book here again the next time we make it back to Switzerland (or at the very least come to enjoy the amazing restaurant!).

Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Gastheber, der Service ist top und alles ist sehr sauber. Die Zimmer mit Balkon sind wunderschön mit allem was man braucht. Die Ruhe begleitet einem den ganzen Aufenthalt. Die Wanderunger erfüllen einem Die Sinne. Einfach zum weiter empfehlen!
