The staff is very sweet. The rooms are adequate. If you can sleep on the side of a freeway then this is a good spot for you. The room I was in was at the back of the motel and just a small parking lot separated my room from the 5 fwy.Ugh! I should have slept in my car. It was quieter in my car than in the room. I definitely picked the wrong hotel. If you stay here I highly recommend not taking a room in the back of the hotel. Other than the fwy noise it was a ok place to be.

Bed and bathroom were nice and clean. The scent that they used to clean the floor was strong...we had to turn on the AC and open the door and window for a while.

We were put on 2nd floor facing I5 and the traffic noise was unbearable. We barely got any sleep. If you stay here make sure you get room away from I5 traffic.

We checked in a little late but our rooms were ready, clean and conveniently located. The staff were efficient and friendly. We appreciated the recent upgrades to the flooring, furniture and bedding for a reasonable cost.

This hotel is clean and fairly inexpensive. This a barebones facility. It has no extras, like coffee maker in room or shampoo for your showers. The towels are postage size and only enough for one per person. It was clean and the room was in good repair

Bare minimum room amenities (ie no rugs, tissue, shampoo, toiletries, extra blankets, table clock/radio, coffee maker). Internet access (ie login/consistency/off-site provider) very cumbersome. Suggest in times of low occupancy give more space between assigned rooms (only 4 occupied rooms all assigned next to each other…)

Brand new renovation in the tiny town of Buttonwillow. Brand new mattresses that were Tempur-pedic style and the room looked fresh with no smells new drapes, new linens and new fridge and microwave. It was more like staying at a comfort Inn. Motel 6 is doing a great job renovating their properties that we’ve been staying at along the I5 corridor from Washington to California. There was a water leak in the wall near the tub that we just put towels on and we notified the front desk also, there was some type of earthquake crack line in between the two beds but no big deal. I’m always appreciative that they allow animals and that the room was super clean smelled super fresh And the grounds were well-maintained. I will say there’s not much for food in this area and the barbecue restaurant that they are known for is your best bet. We tried the Mexican restaurant in the actual small town of button willow and it was a disaster. Highly recommend this location, friendly staff and super clean and super comfortable.

Check ✔️ was good, friendly staff! Our room was basic, not quite enough covers on the bed. No amenities except hand soap, no COFFEE in the room and no basic blow dryer. Room was fairly clean! AND I felt fairly safe there,.but the road noise was bad.

It's extremely difficult to sleep in any of the rooms "facing" I5 unless you're deaf, the noise from vehicles on the freeway is just too much and too close. My non-smoking room smelled like a chain smoker just vacated the room. Last, there were people outdoors smoking pot onsite. If all of this is your thing, go ahead and give it a try. The price was the only positive.

Let me first say that I rated this as two stars, but the quality is not bad. The room furniture has been modernized, and the bed was comfortable. The third star has been compromised by suspected cost cutting strategies by the owner. The bathtub has had the tub function disabled. In some of the rooms, the hot and cold water lines are in reverse for the tub. At check-in, I suggest you ask for extra towels as they are on the small side. Make sure you bring your own facial tissue, shampoo, and conditioner. They will only provide two bars of soap. Take note that coffee makers are also not available in the room. Their website does not indicate they have them, but if you are a night-time tea drinker like myself (I bring my own), you will need to bring your own kettle. Also missing from the room was the fourth pillow. Typically, a king bed will have at least four, but the room only had three. With all of that being said, the staff was very friendly and the prices are reasonable and competitive for the area. The room was, for the most part, clean with the exception of where the maid may have missed cleaning. If travling in the future again, I would stay here for an overnight stop because of the price.

My family and I ,had a wonderful stay at this motel and yes i will tell a friend about National 9.

Property is newly remodeled and everything is updated and clean. Staff friendly and helpful

It’s a Motel 6. What do one expects. The place looked clean to me. The beds were rock hard. Somehow I was able to sleep decently! There was only 2 tini tiny pieces of soap. No shampoo or RINSE. The towels were small but clean. The desk person was nice

The staff person got a little annoyed with us because we had a few questions. It is a very noisy area near a freeway and we requested a room away from the freeway and she wasn't happy with us. Also, our door got stuck! We couldn't get it opened. But the place is clean and decent.
