1 Homes Preview Cabo

This is our third time staying at the 1Homes in Cabo and as usual it did not disappoint, mainly because of the excellent staff. Each morning, my husband or I would visit the Cafe to order a coffee or smoothie. Patricia was always so sweet and accommodating. She and Daniela would make our drinks to perfection, making sure we tasted it before to see if it was just right. Lili and Tatiana are super friendly, always smiling and are a pleasure to talk to. The front dest employees are also amazing, Jose, Cindy, Juan, eager to assist with whatever you need to arrange, like whale watching or suggesting a good place to eat. Down by the Cabana, Eric, and Arcenio are sooo welcoming, they have the best energy and are eager to please and make us feel pampered. Brandon was right there to help us adjust our umbrella and even gave my husband extra napkins when he noticed that he had cut himself shaving, lol. All in all, I have found this unique group is what makes our experience so special, they've become our new vacation friends. I already can't wait to go back!

We were absolutely blown away by 1 Homes. Our room was absolutely gorgeous. Modern, spacious, clean and comfortable. It felt like a home away from home. We had the most beautiful view and the location was perfect. Right on Medano beach so easy access to restaurants, etc. the pool right in the beach was amazing too. But most of all, the staff was so wonderful. Jose showed us our room and was so sweet and kind! We could easily text any of the staff and were helped immediately with taxis, more nespresso pods, and helping us to connect to the speakers in our room. It was truly an amazing experience for all of us girls (it was a trip with my besties from college). We would absolutely stay there again and recommend for anyone with a larger group. Special thanks to Jose, Cindy, Javier, Andrea and Emmanuel for taking care of us ladies!!

We just got home from 1 Homes Cabo and are already thinking of going back. It’s amazing. Don’t shy away from taking your kids. There are not a ton of kids around, so it’s very nice for adults too, but the beach is lovely and it was the perfect spot for our family to relax for a few days. Jose, Cindy, Javier and Emmanuel were absolutely wonderful. So kind, attentive and helpful! The property is stunning and the food at the food truck is delicious. I was a little confused on the food truck - it is basically 1 Homes’ restaurant; it’s not like a third party food truck that they bring in. It’s a 1 Homes food truck at the pool and the food is absolutely wonderful.

This was our third trip to 1Homes and it’s official, we cant go anywhere else now. Each time the experience has been excellent. Since these are residences, 1Homes is much different than your typical hotel. First, there are far fewer people. It’s almost eerie how quiet things are. It feels like your own private resort. Second, there are three pools each with luxury loungers that you don’t have to fight for. Every spot is prime. They even have covered lounge beds that don’t need to be rented or booked. Everything is just easy. The rooms themselves are phenomenal. We had an ocean view 2-bedroom and it felt like a house! The rooms are huge and the balcony with sofa and private hot tub overlooking the bay is incredible. The master bath is monstrous and the kitchen with Viking appliances is the same. But our favorite part is the staff. Since we’ve been a few years in a row, many of them remember us by name. It makes us feel very special. Arcenio, Edson and Bryant are fantastic poolside hosts. Javier, Emmanuel and Jafeth at the front desk are exceptionally helpful & friendly. We love chatting them up and getting to know them personally. We’ll definitely be back next year!

Our wedding anniversary trip to 1 Homes Cabo was supposed to be a dream getaway, but it turned into a deeply unsettling experience that left us with mixed emotions. To begin with, the hotel itself is breathtaking—immaculately clean, ultra-chic, and undeniably luxurious. We spent over $8,000 for five nights and six days in a stunning suite with a private balcony Jacuzzi. The initial days of our trip were magical, filled with wonderful moments and impeccable service. It truly felt like paradise. But that paradise was shattered halfway through our stay. I noticed something that I initially dismissed as paranoia: a hotel employee was peering into our suite from the adjacent room. At first, I thought I was imagining it, but I saw the same man multiple times—three to be exact—staring into our private space. On the third occasion, we locked eyes. It was chilling. I was in complete disbelief that this was happening at such a high-end resort. Furious and deeply uncomfortable, I called the front desk immediately, and security was sent to our room. What followed was a tense and surreal series of events. Security investigated and confirmed that the adjacent room, which was supposedly an owner’s suite and vacant at the time, had been accessed by an employee on the exact dates and times I reported. They reviewed key card records and security footage, which left no doubt about the violation. Although the staff were apologetic and took the matter seriously, the damage had already been done. This horrifying invasion of privacy completely derailed our anniversary celebration. The remaining two nights were filled with unease and discomfort, and the wonderful memories we had made—like playing volleyball with Kygo during his Palm Tree Music Festival at the resort—felt overshadowed by this ordeal. What should have been one of the happiest trips of our lives was tainted by a shocking breach of trust and safety. As much as I want to give this hotel a five-star rating for its beauty and staff, I simply cannot ignore what happened. Spending thousands of dollars on what we thought was a safe and private experience only to have it ruined by such an egregious violation is beyond disappointing. While the resort is stunning, I cannot recommend 1 Homes Cabo until significant measures are taken to ensure guest privacy and security are truly prioritized. This incident was unacceptable.

We had the most spectacular time at the 1 hotel! I came with a group of 7 and we all stayed in a villa with three rooms - it had plenty of space and was much larger than expected! We all slept comfortably and the villa was cleaned with precision every day! We spent most of our days lounging by the pool - and the pool staff are second to none. Special shout out to Arcenio, Martin, Edmond, Donovan and our bartenders Aaron and Abel. They made us delicious (and strong) cocktails and had helped us schedule an excursion to Lovers Beach to snorkel which was so helpful. They were very trustworthy and attentive and couldn’t be more friendly and welcoming during our stay!
