Talayot - Adults Only

We got the early flight from Leeds Bradford. Arrived and got the transfer. We arrived at the hotel and they started checking us in but said there's 20 mins left of lunch so here's your card (you show this everytime you get a drink or go to the restaurant). The reviews made us worry but we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel isn't huge so the amount of variety mets the size of hotel. The room was on the 5th floor on the side and wrapped around the side and back. We could see the sea both sides and the large pool at the back. The room was clean and modern. Lots of hangers and a little drinks fridge, double shower. Only downside we wanted a double but the pushed 2 3/4 beds together. However that's fairly normal abroad n didn't spoil anything. We got up late most mornings and there was still sunbeds. We didn't go on the rooftop terrace to sunbathe as there was people who would wait an hour or so we heard to get a bed which opened at 9.30am. We were satisfied with the other pool and the relaxed atmosphere around the pool. No screaming kids. A variety of ages, lots of couples but some friends also. Some music but not loud. My partner would have had it louder but it was just right for me. The bar serves all drinks. The local wine wasn't great, you can pay more for a better brand but we like lager and the amstel was good. We paid a few times for cocktails which were nice, some places include some cocktails on all inclusive so depends what your expecting. Staff were polite, the male bar staff more so. The food got so badly rated we were dreading what it would be like. We needen have worried. Breakfast all the pastries, cakes, fruit, cava for a bucksfizz if your wanting that. Full English for us English. That included English sausages, streaky bacon, beans, plumb tomatoes, hash browns, eggs. All continental cheeses, meats and veg, breads etc. Icecreams you have to pay for. Lunch had again all the salads, cous cous, meats and cheeses, crusty breads, things like chips, stroganoff, cooked fish, chops, chicken. Pasta dishes. Some were better than others but we really didn't know what all the complaints were about. There was also burgers n large sausages n rolls Evening meal chilli con carne, chicken cooked fresh as well as fish, chops, chips, potato crochets, veal chasseur, rice, mash, paella, veg lasagne, sometimes the options were a little of a mish mash but there was plenty to eat and kept coming. We really enjoyed it. You could help yourself to all the drinks, wine on tap, lager, sangria and all cold drinks We had a lovely relaxing week. We loved it and would definitely go back again. Ignor the moaners it's a great hotel

Very comfortable bed and shower. Everything from food, to comfort to staff friendliness and professionalism was top notch. We were there on a 3 days couple getaway. And we had the most relaxing time. We loved the infinity pool and the pool bar.

Bed was comfy. Great location. Great food and variety of foods. Friendly staff. Room clean and spacious in the suite. No issues. Perfect stay. Great view from our junior suite balcony. Live music every other night. Couldn't ask for more for our honeymoon.

Everything was perfect. Nice and helpful staff. Very cozy and elegant bedroom with big balcony (junior suite option)- I recommend it to everyone but especially for couples. I was looking for the perfect hotel with a bathtub for a long time and I was fully satisfied with this one. I would like to add that their all inclusive is very nice and they have more alcohol to choose from than other hotels. We will definitely come back!

I have just come back from a week at this brilliant hotel. I cannot fault anything here. The hotel Is spotlessly clean. The rooms are as spacious as the photos (some places seem to make the rooms look so much bigger on the photos). The air con worked perfectly, fridge kept things cool, there was a secure safe box and we had a room with a side sea view, which was beautiful. The cleaners change the towels and bedding everyday and clean the room and it didn’t matter what time we left the room or took off the do not disturb, the room was cleaned. All the staff here are friendly, helpful and work very hard. We would like to thank you all for making our stay stress free and so relaxing. I cannot fault food and drinks. We were all inclusive and there was good variety of delicious food and cooked fresh in front of you. The drinks are good and not watered down which I have experienced in other all inclusive hotels. There is a small surcharge for cocktails but they are lovely and you pay around 9 euros for cocktails out of the hotel. We did not mind paying this at all as they are quality. The spa has a charge of 25 euros for a couple for 90 minutes which we thought was worth it for the relaxing experience and we had the whole place to ourselves. The only thing I would say and it’s not so much a criticism but more of a suggestion, the pool area on floor 1 where you have superior beds, infinity pool and chill bar area could do with either having a time limit for guests or a ticket or booking system. We went here one morning and had to queue from just before 9am and the doors opened at 9.30am. Guests had pushed their way to the front and towels were thrown on the bed to secure them. The week we were here it was more or less the same people that secured the beds everyday, it seems a bit unfair to other guests who have paid the same amount for their holiday and it would be nice for all guests to experience this area. Other than this I cannot fault this hotel or the staff at all. We never normally return to a holiday destination once we have been but we both said we would come back here. Perfect hotel, perfect staff in a perfect location. Thank you all for making our holiday so enjoyable and we will see you again sometime.

Hotel is lovely. The beds are very comfortable. We paid a little extra for a sea view, and I would really recommend it, such a gorgeous view and if you're up early enough, youll see an amazing sunrise. The staff were very helpful, friendly and polite. There's a good selection of food and drink and it was all delicious. Really can't fault our stay at this wonderful hotel

My friend and I have just returned from a fabulous short break. We did 3 nights, 4 full days. We were All Inclusive, breakfast, lunch and snacks were always lovely! Plenty to choose from and the staff work hard and are so friendly! We always ventured out for our dinner. The hotel itself is lovely, spotlessly clean and in a fabulous location with everything you need on your doorstep. We upgraded to a sea room (which we had to pay for but was worth it!) when we checked in. The rooms are lovely, modern and spacious and the bed was so comfy! We had an issue getting the air con working on the first night but Gulia on reception was very helpful and came up to the room with me to show me how it worked. The pool area on the front with the chill out bar was just beautiful! We did have to get there early on the first day and people were queing waiting for it to open but for the rest of the stay we just walked down and there were a couple free for us. The bar tender Hafid at the chill out bar was just brilliant! He made the BEST aperol spritz we’ve ever tasted! He’s so friendly and made us laugh everyday! He’s a real credit to the hotel. The ground floor pool is also lovely, we would make our way round there come the afternoon as the front pool does become shaded later on. Plenty of Sunbed’s and a lovely bar too. All in all we had a brilliant stay, a holiday to remember! Thank you to all the staff at Talayot who made our holiday one to remember! :) Gem & Cate

Just the perfect hotel. The staff are the most helpful and friendly we have experienced in all of the years we have been coming to the island. The food is varied, fresh, and well prepared. Catering for all diets. I am a vegetarian and have no problems Rooms are fresh and modern and kept clean and tidy by housekeeping. Although having five floors of rooms the hotel still manages to maintain a boutique hotel feel. Nice seafront location close to shops and amenities, The hotel was happy to answer any questions we had before travelling via email, replying very quickly.

I'm writing my review from my balcony still have till Monday till I fly .I just wanted to say a Big thankyou for a lovely stay it was strange coming alone as mum usually comes Alvaro and Gabriel'made me so welcome agsin i love them both and all the staff are great they work so very hard and will do anything for you the check in was the fastest ive had in the 6 years I've been coming and didn't have to wait till 14 00 for my room as it was a 6an flight had a call to check every thing was ok which was a nice touch I'm very happy still enjoying my 3 days the breakfast was good no complaints I'm coming in october with my friend for 3 days as shes never been it's her 60th birthday present but I know she will be as happy as I am ..The hotel staff and location is 10 out of 10
