We stayed at The Sandman Calgary Airport Hotel. I had made a mistake on the day booked. So we arrived a day later (not knowing our mistake) We were told our booking was a “no show” and had been charged already for that date. I submitted our card again for further charge for our 1 night stay. The next morning I contacted Ms Cienna Roasting the Day Manager. She was so gracious and kind to us Seniors. She arranged for Just a one charge for the day we arrived She cancelled out the “no show” charge. She treated us with dignity and professionalism. We will definitely go to that Sandman Calgary Airport Hotel again, because of her kindness. There is also a restaurant on premises, which makes things so easy to get a meal as we had been travelling in to Calgary from Mexico by plane and the Sandman shuttle.

Das Element Calgary Airport ist recht frisch renoviert und sieht dadurch sehr gepflegt aus. Wir waren mit meinen Schwiegereltern unterwegs und haben in dem Hotel 2. Nächte verbracht bevor es zum Flughafen ging. Beide Zimmer waren zwar anders geschnitten, jedoch sehr geräumig und super ausgestattet. Man hat eine vollwertige kleine Küche verbaut wo man sich auch selber verpflegen kann wenn man will. Das Frühstück war recht reichhaltig und es war für jeden etwas dabei. Parken kann man kostenlos in der Hauseigenen Tiefgarage. Zu unserer Zeit war der Pool erreich geschlossen, wir konnten aber mal einen Blick werfen und das sah auch alles sehr ordentlich aus. Zum Flughafen oder ins Zentrum von Calgary fährt man mit dem Auto gute 15 min bei wenig Verkehr.

The hostel is a good base for exploring the local area is right next to a large grocery store, train station and only 10 minutes walk to the saddle dome. We especially loved the little library area upstairs - it was great to have somewhere quiet to chill in the evenings. The free breakfast is great also we really appreciated the tea, coffee, oil & seasonings provided by the hostel. In the rooms there was limited plug sockets meaning that some people had to leave their phones the opposite the room which isn't great for those setting early morning alarms etc. Also in the women showers there was no doors/locks only shower curtains which didn't feel the most secure for privacy.

Our flight departing Calgary was cancelled for 24 hours so we were put up in this hotel by the airline. The staff was pleasant and accommodating, special shout out to Stacey in the lounge who worked so hard to make sure everyone whose flight was cancelled was fed and full of drinks! Also special shout out to the chef that night, he was alone and still managed to get all the delicious food out in a timely manner! These two really stepped up and made our rather gloomy stay much more enjoyable! The rooms were clean and comfortable, big soft pillows on the beds and you could control your own room temperature. The front desk staff also accommodated a late check out for us as we had so much time to waste the next day. Thank you to the staff, you’ve really worked hard to turn our trip around!

they didnt provide us a receipt which is unusual cause they said we booked on trip.com where we can get the receipt which i booked several times to a different hotel using 3rd party but stil they provide receipt
