Zafiro Mallorca & Spa

We went with the 2 room Penthouse and Jacuzzi. Not the largest hotel with one restaurant. The beach bar turns into another 'restaurant' in the evening. However, it made the ambience! The drinks are premium to some extent and the breakfast and variety of food was good. It's great for families, the staff are great, the service (reception, beach bar, restaurant) is excellent and the general vibe of the place is positive. The entertainment in the evening for kids seemed to keep them happy. As friends we took a cab to the local town, Banana Bar is great and very safe with great music. In summary this hotel has it all and good value in my opinion, I would recommend trying this and I would try others under Zafrio brand.

We’ve just got back from our honeymoon with our three children (ages 17 years, 15 years & 18 months) and I cannot praise the hotel & staff enough. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much. We were allowed to use the AI straight away & checked into our room earlier than we expected. We had two joining rooms with private pools and there was plenty of space for us all with all the facilities a family needs. The private pools were especially handy for when the baby wanted a nap but we didn’t want to miss out on cooling down with a dip. The buffet food selection for breakfast and dinner was brilliant & every night there was something for all of us to eat. The lunch was out favourite though with choices of pizzas, burgers, pastas, nachos etc. and the drinks selection didn’t disappoint. The hotel was clean and the pools well maintained with lifeguard supervision and never any issue getting a sunbed. However, the staff are what makes this hotel. Friendly, attentive, great with our little one, patient and always smiling. From the grounds maintenance team to reception staff, everyone had a smile on their face and said hello. We were especially blown away by the helpfulness of the lady that checked us in (I’m sorry I didn’t get her name) and Otmane (one of the restaurant / bar staff) who provided such a personal customer experience. You can see that every member of staff really cares about providing a good service and all work really hard at what they do. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and we can’t wait to hopefully return in the future! Thank you Zafiro Mallorca for making our familymoon so special!

The food tasted like heaven. I don't know who there hiring for these meals but it must be someone at the top rank of the food industry. My son is usually is very picky for his lunch, but here he was drooling at everything at the menu. The pool was a little cold and a bit shallow. But we were still able to play are usual games we play on holiday The room was fine with no difficulties of sleep, but nothing really stood out about it. Would definitely recommend for the foodies who are reading this.

Very nice hotel, great garden, fun pools, spacious rooms. Good choice for families. We stayed here for 11 days with our children aged 1&6. The rooms offer separate bedrooms and kitchenettes so you can easily go for HB and prepare some light lunches in the rooms. Overall we had a pleasant stay (despite having few days of rain which created a challenge). 1. Pictures on Tripadvisor are mixed up with the 2nd Zafiro hotel in Can Picafort. It’s worth checking the rooms on the hotel site to avoid a surprise (as I did). 2. The garden suite rooms are definitely not worth the money. Also avoid ground floor rooms from the street side - the hotel has a big problem with cats on the promise, who poop in your garden all the time. We had to change our room because of this, but the hotel staff handled it very professionally. 3. The private pool rooms are amazing. Though you still have to chase away the cats. 4. Standard suites are also very good. The pool side is definitely the better choice. 5. You can rent a pram at the hotel! 6. Rooms next to the restaurant on the outside are noisy from the road. 7. There is an amazing playground for kids. Generally I became a fan of the Zafiro brand and would recommend this hotel to friends.

Had the most amazing family holiday here. Just returned yesterday and wish I was still there. The hotel is clean, staff friendly, gardens kept beautiful. Food is amazing I am vegetarian and found alot of food to eat. loved the fact they had children's cutlery,plates, bowls and cups (something i missed last year in Portugal). we travelled with 2 young children 3 years and 2 year old and there was plenty to keep them entertained. they really enjoyed the mini disco at the pirate ship and the entertainment in the evening. we all enjoyed the kids quiz at night and the park. The splash park is great and the pools are amazing. there's alot of other things for children to do too but mine never really wanted to participate. maybe they would if they were a year or two older. beach 10min walk with shops and restaurants/bars all close by. Harbour 25min walk away right of the beach where we booked a boat trip to formentor beach, brilliant trip out definitely recommend. We never walked left up the beach so not sure what's that way. Loved the fact people can't reserve sunbeds.. if they do they take them off and leave them in a pile if people don't go to their beds after a certain amount of time,so there was always lots of beds to take your pick over. which helped to have a lie in Also the drinks were nice lots of choice and in the evening in actual glasses was great husband loved the fact it was proper pints rather than the usual plastic small cups you usually get. I would also recommend going all inclusive as everything is in the hotel you really don't need to go out the hotel if you didn't want to. me and the husband did get a few mosquito bites luckily the kids didn't get any. I always use the skin so soft oil from Avon and never had issues before when using it but some reason I did get bitten here still. The only things I'd advise the hotel would be maybe cleaners cleaned rooms abit more or even just put fresh towels and check toilet rolls everyday would be good. our room was only cleaned properly once on day 8 of our 9 day holiday. towels changed probably every 2 or 3 but never really gave new loo rolls we just took them from the public toilets if needed also maybe having a trip a week to the alacarte restaurant would of been nice to break it up as we stayed 9 nights would been good to go into the 1st week and again in the last few days instead of just once in the whole 9 days. these are only minor updates they could do though the overall holiday was fantastic and just the absolute best for anyone with young families. We'd like to start off by saying a special thanks to Orianna of the entertainment team. She made our 3 yr old feel so welcome that it made the whole holiday so memorable. She was full of fun and the kids loved her. She always made us feel welcome during the kids activities and you'd feel very at ease if you want to get a few bits done while the little ones are in the activity classes. We were a family of 2 adults, a 3yr old and a 9month old, we're from Ireland. The cot was perfect and the high chair is a good IKEA one. We let the kids stay in the bedroom and we slept on the pull out couches in the sitting room. It was actually very comfortable. Aircon is great. We stayed in a self catering apartment. Now it'll be a little difficult to cook a big dinner there but for breakfast and lunch it's ideal. You are walking distance to all restaurants and beach front and a big Aldi. The hotel grounds are stunning. The work that goes into keeping the place clean every day is incredible. The gym is also grand, not big but has plenty of dumbbells, a barbel few treadmills etc. it's nice and quiet in the mornings. The staff were all fantastic. Welcoming and easy to deal with. We thought about going full board for a few days but really, the "All you can eat" buffet wasn't as good as the local restaurants. The best thing is to try a different restaurant every night. We didn't go to one bad one. A really nice feature of this hotel is the key fob that is a wrist bracelet. You never need to worry about bringing a key card. The bracelet gives you access to everywhere and puts the drinks and food on your room. Finally, if you're using the app to book a massage do it as soon as your get there. It's a little buggy so even though it says there are free spots there likely isn't. You request an time then they send you back a list of the free times. Anyway, all in all, it was a great holiday and one we'll definitely go back to.
