Fantastic hotel and want to stay again

很喜歡的度假酒店，雙大堂設計，快艇的方式抵達酒店是以前都沒有體驗過的。每天會有一些免費的活動、下午茶，也有收費活動可供選擇，住在裏面絕對不會無聊。酒店的spa很舒服，價格也非常優惠。

非常好的酒店，服務態度很好，房間也很贊。酒店的船至水上巿場特別推薦，感覺是最好的，沒有之一。酒店下午茶也很贊，下次還要來

靜謐而美好，環境太好了，蟲鳴鳥叫。酒店早餐的米粉是我吃過的這麼多家五星級酒店裡最好味道的，念念不忘。一定要預訂酒店的船去水上市場，船很復古，服務也相當好，當你在路上對比其他遊客坐的船，就知道物有所值了！來西貢接我們的司機也非常友好。

Quite frankly we feel we wasted 3 days of our time going to and staying at the Azurai. We booked as part of a trip via an upmarket travel company because we wanted to see a floating market, and were assured that the best place to do this was Can Tho and that the Azurai was the best place from which to do this as well as being one of the best hotels in Vietnam. Arrived with high hopes after a long journey (internal flight then 4 hours by car from HCM City) Offered a range of 'extras' such as yoga / spa/ special meal when all we wanted was something to eat and drink - it being 4pm and breakfast was long ago. Had some tea then taken to room by golf buggy. Room somewhat hot (it being 37C and nearly 90% humidity) so phoned reception for help adjusting air con. To cut a very long story short, after a farcical 5 hours featuring banging / workmen coming in and out of room / google translate/no one able to tell us what was happening apart from saying 'fixed 20 minutes'/ the Manager being summonsed / us getting increasingly hot, hungry, thirsty to the point of dehydration, going to dinner bedraggled and damp we got into a suitable room. Why was the air con not switched on before we arrived ? If it had been it would have been apparent that it was broken. Why did no one move us earlier ? Next morning we set off for the floating market (bit of a kerfuffle at the boat because no one could explain that we had to join 'our' boat elsewhere ) When we got to the actual boat it was very nice, the continental breakfast was good and the guide , Wing delightful. Sailed through Can Tho to the 'Floating Market' which is a shadow of what we had been led to expect (Ive written this up separately) Wing tried her best to make the trip as enjoyable as possible but she could not show us what is not there any longer. Our disappointment was off the scale. The rest of the time we spent reading and trying to relax. Mr G used a cycle to look round the Island and I had a couple of swims. I will just mention that as a person with restricted mobility the hotel did not suit me well, its somewhat spread out (hence the cycles - if one can use them !) also the pool does not have a hand rail for those unsteady on their feet. Tastes differ - we are not fans of minimalism - to us the hotel seemed bland and somewhat featureless in many respects, we just felt we could be anywhere in the World that is hot. We consider that the levels of service we experienced were poorer than the other hotels we stayed in during our trip. This maybe because most of the staff did not seem confident speaking English - we don't expect everybody to speak our language - but in a luxury hotel we would hope to be able to communicate particularly when there are problems. We ate at the restaurant - breakfasts are good, there is basically a list of food and you order whatever you want, as often as required. Full marks for excellent hash browns (not something we expected to find !) Dinner was ok - Mr G does not eat f

We had a wonderful experience here. We felt like George Clooney and Amal arriving at our private island by speed boat!The hotel is pristine and is so comfortable. The breakfast is amazing with a great array of both European and Vietnamese food served. It was lovely to be served breakfast for a change and staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Shout out to Zen on reception and Pho in the dining room who were exceptional in their service. This is a hotel not to be missed. We will return.

Perfect escape from civilization. This place is located on an island within Can Tho. The staff is professional and respectful. The rooms/villas were amazing. Remote for windows curtains is a nice touch. The ground is manicured beautifully. The pool is refreshing given the heat of the region. The restaurant was nice and food was good. Afternoon tea was nice. There are bicycles so you can go for a little ride. Another thing to enjoy is feeding the fish in the morning. We only stayed two nights, so we did not use the place to its full potential. Was nice to be able to take a boat ride to the mainland to see the region. We did prearranged a tour that picked us up in the early morning to go to the floating market. It was nice to have extra reassurance that they recorded your activity. This place is truly a place to escape from civilization

Wonderful hotel and excellent staff. Giang at the front desk was so welcoming and organized exciting outings for us. We felt at home right away. We enjoyed the cooking lesson with Chef Tonview who was so much fun and a great teacher; the sunset boat ride, and our spectacular tour with Ms. Whig to visit Mr Tom. Do not miss it! We were laughing and having so much fun during our two -day visit. Our room was beautiful looking out at the river. We loved swimming every afternoon and watching the gardeners tending to the hundreds of lotuses . Thanks also to the manger for being so helpful.
