We booked this hotel under ”Luxury escapes” and it certainly wasn't luxury! When we got there the receptionist was absolutely terrible (no customer service skills whatsoever) and not to us but to others as well. When asked about parking she said it's just across the road. Asked her how to get there and she gave us a printed form and said that should tell us - no explanation of form of direction. When reading the instructions it was very confusing and it took us a while. We were meant to receive a free bottle of wine and a voucher. Didn't get that, I had to call reception to ask for it and had to go down to reception to pick it up. Got back to the room and there was 1 wine glass. I gave up and on the following day asked for another wine glass. She said she would send it up via housekeeping......it never came. On the second day we had to evacuate because the fire alarm went off. My husband has a walking stick and finds it very difficult to move. But we did it. Got the site where you go for evacuation and there's no one there to direct us or anything, I find that very poor especially in a hotel. I had booked previously to go back in April but I quickly cancelled it. Worst hotel I've ever been to

My partner and I came to Canberra as we had medical appointments. We had high hopes staying at the Ramada. We were first made aware of a $100 deposit upon arrival (still awaiting refund). A suggestion would be to let customers know upon booking. There were three issues with our room. 1: the phone was not connected therefore had to find receptions number online. 2: the shower does not hold hot water. We spend showers going through temperatures ranging from Antarctica to the Sahara desert. Hot cold hot cold hot cold. 3: Our toilet flushed once, then filled with black water and would not re-flush. My pregnant partner was horrified. When advising reception after spending a few minutes online finding the actual number, we were then moved rooms. Room 2 issues: 1: the shower was filthy and had dirt of the floor. 2: would again NOT hold hot water. Hot cold hot cold hot cold shower again. 3: the taps were on backwards. Whoever did the plumbing should be sacked. - after raising all issues about the first room, we did not receive an apology, reimbursement or even an upgrade. Just a new dodgy room to continue our nightmare. Thank god my pregnant partner and I left the next morning.

The staff at Pavilion couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful in letting us change rooms and responding to requests.But this didn’t quite make up for the fact that this hotel is in need of some serious TLC. We noticed at reception a tourist excellence award from Trip Adviser from 2012, which is hardly current. On the plus side: The huge foyer area was pleasant and welcoming. The king bed was very comfortable which is the main thing, quality linen. Bathroom towels were plentiful and soft and the shower over the bath had a non-slip surface and a useful help rail to get in and out. What needs attention: The desk and table in both rooms we had were chipped, and the curtains somewhat old and worn. The darkish grey paint also did nothing to raise the energy of what was already a dark room (215) with a tree outside. No plugs were provided for the basin and the bath, though these were supplied on request The restaurant staff were great, but the chicken schnitzel we ordered was really disappointing and poor value at $35. We would also have appreciated a microwave being available, if not as standard on request, as in many hotels. Overall a disappointing experience we would not repeat.

Hotel pangsapuri di kawasan pusat bandar sangat sesuai untuk perjalanan besar dan kecil. Adalah selesa untuk menjaga satu sama lain. Sofa di ruang tamu boleh dibuka untuk membuat tempat tidur. Dapur terbuka dapat menyediakan kemudahan memasak selama 10 minit. Bilik cuci dilengkapi dengan mesin basuh dan pengering. Ada masalah. Anda boleh mendapatkan khidmat pelanggan Ctrip untuk membantu berkomunikasi dan menyelesaikan masalah laras bahasa. Sangat berpuas hati dengan pengalaman menginap di Canberra lain kali saya masih akan memilih hotel ini 🏨

Location of the hotel is great, just a 5 minute walk to the restaurant and shops. Easy to find on Northbourne with a large parking garage for a reasonable $15 per night. The room itself is rather dull, has the bare minimum and the lights are a combination of normal lights and those horrible cheap cold white lamp bulbs. What I was really missing was an electricity outlet you can use next to bed. The bathroom gave me instant flashbacks to the late 80's or 90's. Old and tired are the correct terms. Mind that housekeeping is not done on daily base. The biggest letdown was that the hotel does not offer any type of food service, not even breakfast! Unfortunately this wasn't told at the checkin, so you can guess my surprised reaction, instead you are being referred to external cafe/bakery on the other side of the building. The restaurant was closed 3 years ago due to the pandemic. Of course hotels and restaurants also suffered during the several lockdowns but now is the time to get back to normal, this is the way how your business can survive. But this hotel seems to have given up hope and can't be bothered. Not a hotel I would choose again, especially since the rates are more or less the same as other hotels in the area.

The location is good and the price for a one bedroom apartment was also good value. However, the state of cleanliness leaves much to be desired. For example timber balustrades next to the lift appear as if a duster has not been seen there in a few years? Wouldn’t stay there again and the Quest City Walk, although costing more, is a better and cleaner option.

We arrived excited for our first family trip to Canberra. The porta cot was filthy ripped and could clearly see dirt hand prints from previous use. The bath was not very clean as we bathed our son in there of the night, Mould on tiles and hairs in bath.
