The hotel is ok in general. Of the minuses - the slowness of the staff and poor-quality cleaning. Good for hangout lovers. There are many restaurants around, a ferris wheel, carousels for children.

Nice location room is big staff are the nicest people ever I absolutely love the hotel Location is great .

Very beautiful hotel in the centre of Cannes right opposite of the Palais de Festival and the sea. I had a room with sea view which was amazing, large, beautifully equipped, and spotlessly clean. I can highly recommend this hotel that lives up to its name and I will definitely be back.

Отель с историей в центре Канн. Все рядом, бутики, рестораны, набережная, порт. В номерах с видом на море видны яхты. Площадь между отелем и набережной была недавно реконструирована. Последний раз были в декабре, в номерах тепло, хороший завтрак, почти всегда делают апгрейд номера при заселении. При адекватной цене - рекомендую.

Lovely looking building near the harbour, with really nice views of the harbour from the front facing rooms. The interior seems a bit dated and the rooms could do with an update and refresh. However, the bedroom and bed itself was comfortable and the whole property was clean and appeared to be well looked after. Good location near the harbour and a short walk into town where you will find many bars and restaurants. Overall, a decent mid range hotel which doesn't break the bank for this area.

I was excited to return to Hotel Splendid after staying every January for the music festival for 10 years between 2002 and 2012. The hotel staff are still as polite and friendly, especially the bar manager. There has been some nice upgrades, the breakfast room changes into a bar from 5pm, and the bedding is of a good quality, but the rest is a little tired. Our room 208 was large, had a great view and small balcony, but the smallest bathroom I’ve ever been in and a separate WC. We had big issues with sewage smells from the separate WC, and on our second night it was so bad we asked the hotel night Manger if he could move us, which unfortunately he couldn’t, the hotel was full. I made the night manager come into our room so he could experience the foul smell we were having the injure, and he was disgusted. On check out the hotel manager looked at us when we complained as if it was acceptable to be sleeping in a room with a terrible raw sewage smell, all they would do is comp the breakfast. So to summarise, we would NEVER stay at this hotel again. And we would advise you not to pay in advance for your stay if you can, so that if you have this awful sewage smell you have a little more to bargain with, and if they can’t change your room, then move out of the hotel, there are many other options around you. The hotel management could have given us a lot better service this morning, and this review would have been slightly better, shame on you Hotel Splendid.

Standing on the balcony of top floor of a sea view room, we get a splendid view of the old town, the square, the harbor, and the Film Festival Palace. It’s a regret that we were not told that the checking out time was 11 am at the reception and we could not open our room door when we checked out at 12 am. But overall, this is a pleasan hotel and the view worth the money.

Loved the old school feel. The room was small but it had a bathtub! Very well located.Didn’t eat there but the dining room looked lovely.
