Hotel bagus, pelayanan sangat ramah, makanannya enak enak..

The building is great and well located but…….. breakfast was terrible, not a single piece of fresh fuit insight , ran out of coffee cups after about 10 customers and were told to use the cardboard ones and the sever was at best useless. We booked three rooms and it took more than 30minutes to checkin because it was so unorganized at the reception , finally we were given 3 sets of keys and every key was for the wrong couple so it took us another 30minutes of going all over the building to work out what rooms were actually ours.

Was surprised that checkin was at 4pm which seems late. We got to the hotel at 1pm to leave our bags and were advised that our room would be ready soon so we waited, we waited for 3 hours… and the room wasn’t ready until after 4.30pm. As compensation we were offered free breakfast however I don’t eat breakfast and nothing else was offered. I wouldn’t advise paying for the breakfast as from seeing it there was little to eat plus there are many more options in the bakeries of Cannes. After waiting for 3 hours and noticing that the maids were sitting outside talking, hence the delay, we got to our room but there were no towels. On my way to reception I informed a maid who quickly got me towels and water. The decor and f the hotel confused me as it’s like they have tried to modernise things by giving the a lick of paint, which has then chipped and looked unkempt. We had broken furniture on the balcony and some plug sockets that didn’t work. Water pressure in the shower wasn’t good, lift was small and there’s no internal lock on the room door, we also found it difficult to open the door with the key. Buttons on the safe were temperamental but worked. On the plus side the bed was comfy, room clean and there was a TV, hairdryer, fridge and working AC. Staff were friendly and there’s nice furniture outside. There’s a supermarket less than 10 mins walk and the centre of Cannes/ train station is 10/15 mins walk. There’s a bus stop nearby. The hotel is up a hill so wouldn’t be good for walking if you have mobility issues. Hotel isn’t staffed 24 hours so make sure you note/ take a picture of the main entrance door. Pool was run down and although clean there was chipped paint that made it look dirty. The jacuzzi wasn’t working either. On the last morning the maid came in before check out although there was a dnd sign on the door.

I didn't stayed at a room with nice view, but the hotel operate small terrace on the first floor served with champagne(on-charge). Rooptop terrace was closed for the some duration, so that I could not visit. Breakfast was good though, even though the service staffs looks somewhat less professional. They, however, are very kind. In general, nice visit and stay in Cannes. Thanks.

Very friendly, welcoming staff in all departments of the hotel. Huge comfortable rooms with huge beds. Despite being in a fabulous, historic location (route Napoleon) just steps from the sea, the old town, etc, the rooms are quiet. Enjoyed a visit to the spa for a massage. If you wish to have the Sunday Brunch make sure to book in advance.

The Martinez hotel is a sumptuous palace with peaceful rooms and a beautiful hidden oasis for a wellness experience or a relaxing time at the blue Klein and golden pool, newly designed by a famous architect. But what makes the stay exceptional and unforgettable is the lovely, welcoming and smiling team (front desk, housekeeping, restaurants) taking care of guests and always anticipating their needs. Thanks Martinez team for being so kind with us !

I wasn’t having high expectations so, at least the room was clean, not big, but I’ve been traveling for 10 days inside a group, and this was the worst nights sleep I’ve had, despite the fact that they were ALL in budget hotels. I think the bed is uncomfortable, and it was noisy because people in the halls you could hear everything. And there was a light in my room from the air conditioning unit that was SO bright that IT ILLUMINATED my Luggage, it illuminated it! and I found something to hang to block it The air conditioning, however, worked well, but the pillows ******, and I have a neck ache. Another complaint is there were no outlets for charging my electronics. Absurd in this day and age. We got there late I was delighted to find room service had actual food delivery until 10 o’clock at night. I did get the salmon with potatoes. Dried out and very fishy. My friend had the pasta and liked it Not a horrible stay but I wouldn’t come again.

I never write reviews however I feel as though this hotel deserves one. We usually stay at my Step-dads place in Valluris, however as that was being rented out, we decided to stay here as the reviews were positive and the price was exceptional! The bottom floor of the hotel has been recently renovated and looks beautiful (if the whole hotel looked like this, it would be a 5 star for sure!) Staff are always present and attentive with a 24 hour reception. Amdy behind the bar delivered exceptional service, making personalised cocktails when England won the semi final of the euros! He always went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was nothing less than the best by making great conversation, recommending and personalising our food requests and overall just being there whenever we needed him. Speaking of the food I cannot believe how many people have not mentioned it in their reviews. It was AMAZING! When we spoke to Amdy, he informed us that absolutely everything is made from scratch using fresh produce (this was even down the the burger buns that were made fresh daily!) We didn’t include breakfast in our stay but after seeing it - we purchased it daily! It was fresh, tasty and there was lots of variety. There was also a gorgeous little hut around the pool whereby staff would deliver drinks and food directly to your sunbed! The only thing that lets this hotel down slightly is that it wasn’t quite as clean as I would of hoped! Maids clean daily and do a great job however I feel that it is lacking a thorough, in depth clean. There was quite a bit of dust and also some discolouration around the panel in the shower. The rooms are very spacious, the air con is great and the beds are comfy it just needs a bit of a revamp in my opinion. Overall, great stay and we’d 100% go again!
