We stayed in an ocean terrace room to celebrate our wedding anniversary last weekend. Spent the better part of two days with an incredible view of the ocean from the super comfortable king bed. The new construction oceanfront building is fantastic. Finishes are great. Never were bothered by noise from neighboring rooms. The private porch is huge - seats 4 comfortably. Hotel staff were friendly and housekeeping did a great job keeping our room clean and stocked. Mainly writing this review bc the hotel website is really lacking on pics and details about the rooms. Entrance to the room had a coat closet w safe and a small kitchenette - undercounter fridge, bar sink, microwave, keurig, assor**ent of drink ware. Bathroom was plenty big for a couple. Might be cramped with 4 people in the room. Big shower, good water pressure. Plenty of storage in the vanity. King bed in the main room with a dresser, wall hung smart TV, loveseat, coffee table and separate armchair. Private outdoor space w 2x plywood fabric chairs and 2x poly wood rocking chairs. Highly recommend the Ocean Terrace room!

We really had a great stay, super nice staff , and a beautiful view of the Atlantic ocean. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby, including one on property. Would certainly stay there again

We booked this property on Friday morning and they had one room available for what we wanted on Saturday. We had the best weekend that we’ve had in a very long time. I had never been to Cape May so I didn’t really know what I was in store for. I was so happy to hear that after this year they will continue to be open past Labor Day. This will be a definite yearly trip for my husband and I

It was slow as we visited in October. But the stay was great, great location and great view of the ocean. The pool is heated! Wish we would have known that prior to arriving to come prepared with swim wear. We plan to return on the future and would recommend this place for sure!

The Beach Shack was a fantastic place to stay. Everyone was very help professional. The Hotel was immaculately clean. The room very comfortable. Attached to the hotel is the Rusty Nail. Great place to enjoy dinner , a drink and chill out by fire.
Will be staying again real soon!

The DOG friendly room was why we went there, It was a great location, the room was very clean, the grounds were well maintained. The towels and bedding were of good quality, The Rusty Nail connection was a plus as well.
