Magic place to stay! Can’t wait to take friends there for New Year’s. Food is totally amazing too!! This year we are staying in the newly renovated Beach House (Whare) and I just can’t wait! The local hosts go above and beyond for their guests!

It's a beautiful spot, with great facilities, heaps to do, and friendly staff! Dogs are allowed which is a bonus. Had a classic Kiwi camping experience with the whole family. The single cabins are simple but very comfortable and cosy. The bar/restaurant space is amazing!

Read my title your review for details. And photos. The photos must say it all. Surely noone is expected to use these plug ins at a campsite, or anywhere else. I don't why our experience was so bad compared to what I've seen online, but. I will not be going back there I'm afraid to say. Not because of the location, but I value my life from being electrocuted.

Another epic stay this weekend for the wild food festival. If you want to experience remote nz then I totally recommend this place. The legend of Ngawhi John Priest is the best host ever. Great for good walks, diving and fishing and walk around amongst the seal colony just down the road.

The new family holiday getaway, awesome hosts and facilities. Put ya wetsuit on and get some kaimoana 👌great bar and the food is awesome you can tell they are foodies, we went there and karaoke was on was an epic night afterparty ended in the communal kitchen 🤘 great family hotspot almost don't want to spill the secret...

Absolutely loved our stay here (2 nights) - such fun! Cabin was very clean and just what we needed. Toilet and shower facilities were very clean (thank you!). Relaxing to have the great view..and to sit on the small deck of our cabin. We all had dinner - which was just gorgeous. We had lots of fun in the bar/grill - joined in with a game of pool - laughs & chats with all the people there. An excellent place to say - thanks to all at Waimeha =)

Arrived late, tired & hungry, after bikepacking over Aorangi Forest from Martinborough. Staff shifted some opportunistically parked cars to get us into an excellent tent pitch adjacent to the main lodge which spared our jelly legs yet more toil. Awesome hot showers followed by cold beers and an epic feed (including a compo second starter!) then a well-loaded breakfast bacon buttie the next morning, all had us revived, refuelled and ready to tackle the onward journey. Great job, JP and Team - very many thanks for looking after us so well!

An absolutely special spot with incredible views. Large sites for long caravans/motorhomes. Cabin accommodation too. Great facilities and bonus of a bar and meals on the weekends. Can't speak highly enough of JP and his team. Highly recommended.

Went as part of a 16 group tour for 3 day weekend retreat. Was buddied in Cabin 10. Stunning views of the ever changing sea. Astounding sunsets. Our host was the most amazing personable gentleman. He could read the room and just made our stay as perfect as it could be. Food was really outstanding, fresh 😋 delicious and beautifully presented. The cabin was simple but well appointed very clean, beds very comfortable double glazing made the cabins extremely warm. Overall couldn't rate this experience any better for a getaway to getaway try it you'll love it.
