Ietwat verouderd hotel, maar alles ok en zeer goede service. Ontbijt mocht iets uitgebreider. Al bij al zijn geld waard.

We had an amazing time at Hotel Santa Gilla. It is an older rustic style hotel in excellent condition. The rooms and balcony were clean and spacious. The pool was gorgeous with bubbles at one end and plenty of sun beds - you could ask if no free ones available too. Plenty of umbrellas and lots of palm trees for natural shade. A small snack, drink and ices kiosk by the pool too. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to help, spoke excellent English. Not many other English families there which we enjoyed to really get away from everything. Lots of Italian and French guests. It’s good when locals go there for a break!! There is a supermarket with everything in it almost across the road and a few cafes and pizzerias and two restaurants. The bus to Cagliari is 20 minutes and costs 1.90 euros each way. The beach is nice and you can hire sunbeds and umbrellas. It was not crowded at all in August. Breakfast at the hotel was good and you could have lunch and dinner at extra charge. There is also a gym but I only went once as too hot. You can buy water at the supermarket but there is a machine where you can refill water for 0.25 euros per 250ml at reception. My friend drank from the tap there and said it was fine though. Out and about some speak a little English but there is always google translate and they are so accommodating you get by. I am learning Italian so was brilliant for me and went into English half the time! This really is a haven to get away from it and really immerse yourself in the culture. Very hot but it was August. I have never been anywhere so spacious and not crowded in August. I can’t recommend this hotel enough for tranquility, warmth, hospitality and relaxation.

In two words, the stay at the hotel was excellent. Starting from reception. We had chosen a superior room on the 1st floor with an extra bed because we were three people. The room exceeded all our expectations. It was simply fantastic. fantastic view of the pool from the terrace, beds made and soft, pillows fluffy. I was especially pleased with the separate shower room and WC. The room was cleaned every day, towels changed. Even when we didn't specify it. Pool with jacuzzi! Wow!!! A separate story is about the restaurant. We had the HB concept. For breakfast, both hot dishes, snacks and fruits. Everything is fresh and tasty. Dinner? I will not exaggerate - only half a step closer to Michelin stars. Biggest thanks to the cooks and wait staff. Finally, a special thank you to Michelangelo from the front desk. For help in a difficult situation.

Hotel is very nice. It’s located not far from airport, close to the beach and bus stop to Cagliari. Hotel is clean and tidy, all staff is very attentive and friendly and always smiling Restaurant: dinner is perfect, breakfast could be better. But in common it’s very nice hotel with big swimming pool and all necessary equipment. Highly recommended for families with children! Good luck!❤️

Staffs are friendly and I really enjoy the time when I stay in Hotel. Although the location is far from the downtown, we just take the Arst. The dinner of Fridqy is not good, I even can't find the one I want to eat. But rest days are quite good,also Ichnusa is good.

Beautiful hotel, very clean with great facilities. The staff were absolutely brilliant and went above and beyond for us. We had missed our flights and we're very stressed arriving and the hotel upgraded us to a gorgeous superior room to help us relax. 10/10 experience

Very friendly staff. Flexibility for special wishes. Good place to start interesting roundtrips. Perfect relaxing moments. airport. Close to the city of Cagliari and to the Airport. Public transport close by. As a former business manager (meanwhile retired), I recommend this house!

Small paradise with a swimming pool in a beautiful garden, surrounded by flamingos that you can watch from your balcony and very nice staff at your disposal. Spacious rooms, super comfy beds and nice subtle design. We stayed just one night during our roadtrip in Sardegna but enjoyed the stay very much.

This is great quate space for those who do not want stay in huge hotel. Santa Gilla is nice, clean, old-styled hotel with friendly staff. Also have good time distance from Cagliari - It will take you 25 minutes by car from the airport and town centre. Also have great beach location near. I found the most great reason for recommend this hotel - it is the food. Honestly - I felt like I'm in a heaven every single breakfast and dinner. Everything I had put on my plate disappeared with feeling of gratitude to the chef. One thing I found annoying - mosquitos in the room. They were flying around every night and bite us regularly - no matter how good we were trying close the door and catch them before sleep time. However my impression is good and I can recommend the hotel to other lucky who want to explore Sardinia. This place is the Heaven, truly.

Friendly staff, excellent location, very nice hotel. The drawback was the mosquitos. The first night we could not sleep at all because of them. The nights we could not stay on the terrace to enjoy the nature. The staff should advise the clients to keep the doors closed all day. The breakfast was amazing however one of the coffee machines was damages and it needed enough time to take coffee. The pool was perfect for relaxing.
