Firstly, i have never booked accommodation that has been so bad i've put myself in serious financial detriment just get out of. I booked for 6 nights then had no choice but to leave after 1 night and pay for a second hotel for 5 nights just to avoid another staying 1 more night. I can without any shadow of a doubt say this is the worst experience i've had with hotels/apartments. The furniture and rooms are of such poor quality, dirty/unsanitary and smell strongly of stale cigarette smoke as do all communal areas. The noise continues throughout the night, internal and external. I communicated with the property through the night and the next day and was offered an alternative room which i should sort myself through the cleaners (?). Changing rooms was not going to solve the quality or noise issues though? There were so many other issues (rocking toilet, shower door fitted the wrong way, looking into someones living room if you wanted the curtains open, cigarette burns EVERYWHERE) that i could've probably overlooked if it hadn't been so dirty and noisy. Imagine being on holiday and wishing you were at home. Currently escalating complaints through various channels because it's not fair to do this to people.
