It’s a heartwarming thing to choose a hôtel purely on the basis of location only to find that it’s really a bit of a gem. We had an eight night stay at the beautiful Domain de Verchant, set amongst its own vineyards and parkland, only a few kilometres outside historic Montpellier. The rooms were both charming and well appointed , the food in the two different restaurants was really very good and the spa/ pool areas are quite wonderful with first rate facilities. However, it is the professional and friendly service that sets this hotel apart . Under the General manager, Jean-Pascal Picolette, thé team show their dedication and pleasure in looking after their residents, whether it be serving a poolside sandwich or a 5 course fine dining meal at their superb restaurant Marcelle. Most important to me, they accommodated my request to have my mother's room next to ours. Overall our stay was a good experience and we would stay again. The staff was outstanding and helped us with any request we had. The location was perfect, the morning breakfast was nice, and the rooms were clean. My mother had a large, wonderful room and we were next door with a room that slept four. The space / floor plan of our room was crowded since we kept the sofa bed pulled out. But seeing as this is an old building, we were just glad they had a room that slept four.

Not far from the center(only 10 min walking distance) and two tram stops from St.Roch central train station it was the cheapest room we could find.The girl in the reception was very helpful and professional and speaking very well English! The rooms are exactly as in the photos of Booking.com,new and big.They have kitchen that we didn’t use.the bathroom was big and new !!! Wi-Fi was working perfectly and free !!! A great choice for the beautiful Montpellier !!!

We booked this hotel for 5 nights. We got there around 4pm & there was only one person helping guests. The check in took over 45 minutes. We taught that it was easy to walk to the city centre but you have to walk through this alleyway that is a bit scary as there are so many drunks, homeless people & so many dogs running around that make my daughter really scared. During the check in the hotel charged me twice & I did point out the error to the receptionist but he was not very receptive & quick to rectify the issue. I did also spoke to the manager & his attitude was not any better. The worst is the laud noise coming from the hallway. People not even guests are allowed to rom in the hallway making very laud noises and knocking my bed room. The following morning I spoke to the manager & he said it’s because of summer parties. The same for the swimming pool. They allowed non guests to use & there is no bed left for guests to use. In general it is not a good hotel at all. Will never stay there again

Accueil chaleureux et souriant des réceptionnistes, très bonne ambiance dans l’hôtel, les chambres sont très propres et l’emplacement est idéal dans le centre ville. Rien à redire, très bonne expérience, je reviendrai ! Une nouvelle adresse à ne pas manquer sur Montpellier, je ne peux que vous la conseiller. Merci encore pour ce séjour

The hotel was well located near the comedie, old town and the shopping centre. The room was clean, well laid out and very well appointant. The staff were attentive and tried to do everything for us, hence the title of this review. No doubt this is an amazing hotel and the staff are great however it is a little formal for a casual holiday.

J'avais réservé une chambre classique mais à notre arrivée à l'hôtel On a donné une grande chambre très spacieuse,n124 d'ailleurs je remercie Mme camélia car c'est elle qui nous a accueilli à notre arrivée elle nous a même donné la chambre à 12h30 on était très contentes car on était très fatiguée comme on a fait le voyage de nuit et aussi c'est fait elle qui a fait le check out à notre départ elle était très gentille, souriante et très professionnelle

Great hotel, right opposite the train station and within walking distance to Comedie and the old town. Recently refurbished by the looks of it. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was nice and modern too! Only downside was that there was no bottled water (although tap water is drinkable) and also limited coffee supplies. Check in was pretty straight forward. There was roadworks outside during our stay but it didn’t bother us as they weren’t on whilst we were sleeping.

J'ai passé 2 nuits seule dans un des studios proposés et tout était parfait ! Pour une cinquantaine d'euros (basse saison - fin janvier), c'est encore mieux que ce à quoi on pourrait s'attendre : propreté irréprochable, literie hyper confortable (j'avais même du mal à sortir de mon lit le matin), espace de rangement très satisfaisant, cuisine équipée (avec lave-vaisselle et hotte!) et séparée de la chambre par une porte, salle de BAINS spacieuse avec grand miroir, les installations (interrupteurs, prises, lampes de chevet,...) sont ergonomiques, pas de désagréments niveau insonorisation, café-thé-chocolat chaud à volonté au RDC, personnel très poli et courtois, bref, rien à redire. J'ai déjà envie d'y retourner :)
