Be aware that this is a 3-star hotel; that means: no in-room amenities like coffee, hot water, iron board. Soap/Shower Gel/Shampoo from an ”all-in-one” dispenser in the bathroom. + Lots of free parking space + The hotel lies next to a park with quiet surroundings. + My room was spacious and appeared clean. Bathroom was clean too. + The personnel was friendly. Unfortunately: - There was NO WiFi during my entire stay. Some problem that the IT at headquarters couldn't fix. This was a business trip, and having internet was crucial for my stay; I ended up using a lot of 4G data during these 3 days. IMO one can reasonably expect WiFi to be available, and I would expect to be informed if the WiFi is broken. - I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights (Thu - Sun). There was NO housekeeping in my room at any given time during my stay. These 2 things are the main reasons for me not coming back to this hotel another time. Then there were a number of smaller things that may or may not bother you: - They don't have any information perm/brochure/papers in the room. If you look at your keycard holder, you will see a website address where you can find info. I found that inconvenient. - Breakfast/Restaurant is in a separate building, you have to go outside and cross the yard to get there. Not ideal at 7-8am in December rain. - Breakfast is reasonable; limited choice, but good enough. - There's only one coffee machine in the restaurant and even though it was relatively quiet, there's almost always 1-2 people waiting in line for it. - Ash trays are placed next to every entrance. There are no designated smoking zones, and some people will smoke right next to the entrance. - The rooms have carpet, which I personally find less hygienic than wooden floor/parquet/laminate (particularly in a hotel room)

La façade n’est franchement pas terrible mais l’intérieur par contre c’est magnifique l’hôtel est très propre. Les chambres sont incroyables et la salle de bain avec du marbre ajoute énormément de charme. Petit bémol c’est qu’on entend la circulation durant la nuit. Le wifi est top, la réception parle aussi bien anglais qu’allemand et même français. Le parking payant est correct. J’ai adoré mon passage ici

Llegué una semana antes de mi reserva y solicité un cambio en recepción. No podían por ser reserva hecha a través de booking, que únicamente permitía la cancelación sin reembolso completo o parcial, por lo que perdía todo el dinero. Pero en la página web de booking indicaban que en el hotel podrían, SI QUERÍAN, hacerme un reembolso. Lo comenté con el hotel estando en la misma recepción, hice la cancelación y reservé una nueva habitación, pero no me hicieron reembolso ni descuento alguno, la mujer joven que me atendió carecía de empatía y simpatía. Pagué lo que correspondía reservando directamente en recepción, más caro que por web, y no volveré más a este hotel ni lo recomendaré a mis amigos y colegas. Por lo demás correcto, instalaciones relativamente nuevas y funcionales, aunque eché en falta ventilación en la habitación.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Unsere Zimmer: die Größe des Einzelzimmers war ausreichend. Es gab sogar einen kleinen Balkon. Das Doppelzimmer groß! Eine kleine Sitzecke „rundete“ das Ganze ab. Auch hier war ein Balkon vorhanden. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker. Auch unser Wunsch nach gutem Wetter wurde erfüllt. ;))

Das b&b liegt etwas ausserhalb der ”Hauptmeile” und ist deshalb ruhig - sehr gut. Trotzdem ist alles in der Innenstadt sehr gut zu Fuss erreichbar - für Nichtfussgänger*innen gibt eine Bushaltestelle vor der Tür. Alles erscheint ziemlich neu, es wird auch gerade angebaut. Die ZImmer sind sehr sauber und für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie großzügig und hell. Es gibt eine kleine Lobby mit Arbeitsplätzen für PC u.ä. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, allerdings wusste der junge Mann am Empfang mit meinen Anmeldeformular erst mal nichts anzufangen ;-) Noch einige kleine Nachteile: Da ich am Wochenende da war und viele Abends das Nachtleben in Bochum genossen hatten, ballte es sich zur Frühstückzeit 9-10°° sehr, dafür ist in dem kleinen Frühstückraum kein Platz, d.h. es wurde auch in der Lobby gefrühstück und die Schlagen am kleinen, aber feinen Buffet waren lang, das kann unter der Woche aber anders sein... Im Hotel und auf den Zimmern war es leider ziemlich kalt, bei einer Aussentemperatur von 18-20 C wurde die Klimaanlage sehr hochgefahren bzw. die Heizungen runter und es gab wenige Ecken, in denen es nicht von oben zog, Das ist im Frühjahr nicht nötig und macht es ungemütlich.

Nice new hotel. Staff (and the dog) was great. Heating in the new building seems to be a problem. Breakfast was great, room also.

Stayed as part of a group from the UK. This is a new hotel and of great quality within the HIExp brand standard. All the staff are young, smart and helpful. They converse very clearly in English and go out of their way to be helpful. The rooms have all you would expect, quiet air com, kettle and tea/coffee, good shower, nice TV, very clean on arrival but no daily cleaning service. Breakfast was excellent, always replenished and the breakfast room was clean and attractive. There is lots to see and do in Recklinghausen with a great choice of bars and restaurants. Highly recommended hotel.

Mooi hotel midden in het centrum van Dortmund. Kregen eerst een kamer op de 6de verdieping, maar was niet schoon, dit doorgegeven bij de receptie en we kregen een andere kamer, deze was wel schoon. Matras van het bed, was hard, maar voor een weekend goed te doen. Wat ik wel miste, was een molton op het matras, laken lag gelijk op het matras, hoofdkussen zacht. Douche was keurig met handdoeken shampoo en zeep. Ontbijt, meer dan genoeg en zeer goed. Auto kon je in de parkeergarage onder het hotel kwijt, wel aangeven bij het boeken. Vanuit het hotel, sta je gelijk in het centrum. Personeel is vriendelijk
