Hotel dengan WiFi di Caticlan

We stayed here just one night before getting the boat to Boracay and are so glad we did. The entrance is tucked away down an alley so we weren’t sure when we first arrived but once inside there was a very cute small cafe/restaurant and the staff welcomed us with a complimentary freshly made cucumber lemonade. There is no elevator so a very strong porter kindly carried our very heavy suitcases up the 3 flights of stairs to our room. Room was small but more than sufficient for an overnight stay and bathroom included toothbrush and toothpaste set which was a nice touch. Ate dinner at the restaurant downstairs which was delicious and great value for money. Staff were the best part, very friendly, helpful and chilled. Absolutely recommend this place.

Just outside the town on the road to the Arrivals terminal (the Departure terminal is in town at the opposite end of the runway – perhaps the most bizarre airpport in the world?). Tricky walk at night as theyre are no pavements, only a stony path along the road, and poor street lighting, but OK during the day. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The room was large, with clean bathroom, comfortable bed, and good wifi. The town has the usual local eateries, and wakling to the pier to or from Boracy takes 10 minutes. Given how few hotel options Caticlan offers, this is a good choice as long as you don't expect frills.

The location of the hotel is good for those who have an early flight in the next morning to catch. This was the reason I chose this hotel for one night stay only before we flew to Manila, and I did not expect much. Even so, I could only give this hotel 2-star rating because: - It is very basic and does not have adequate facilities even for a simple stay. When I asked the staff for an electric kettle for boiling water, they said they did not have one, and then they had to boil some water for me using they gas stove; - The room did not have sufficient lighting. It was very dark and even scary; - The air conditioner did not work right. It was very noisy and inefficient. We could not sleep because of the heat in the night; - When we walked in, it looked to me like an abandoned place. Nobody was there and we had to wait for a while until a staff member came. I still give the hotel 2 stars instead of 1 because of its location and the fact that the staff was very cooperative when we asked for boiling water.

Stayed at this hotel as a overnight layover from boracay. We had a vert early morning flight. Pros: Hotel staff are absolutely lovely. Surprinsing roof top restaurant. Food was okay, cocktails nice. Generally a clean hotel. Very comfy bed. Convenient location. Cons: it's right on the port, so you are hearing everything if youre a light sleeper. Ie trucks coming in and out, dog fights people shouting. Everything. There was also a sewer smell that came from the bathroom. Overall OK enough for a stopover.
