All on expected level except one but pretty critical for me issue - air conditioning system is covered in mold. It have had severe implications for me - I’m allergic to mold and have got severe allergies just few hours after arrival while I couldn’t figure out what caused it. Room felt very moist and smelly, so I was hoping turning on air conditioning will fix a problem in a couple of hours, but it get significantly worst. I’ve got another room assigned after I have identified reason (photo attached); alternative room was having less issues (not obviously smelly), but air conditioning system was covered in mold as well. Also pool was on maintenance, what was not announced while I was booking… traveling with kid, I’d have booked another hotel if I had this info.

I love the location. It is within Cebu’s IT Park which has almost everything you need, just around corner. Restaurants, Coffee shops, banks, as well as supermarket. The hotel is very clean. Always clean. The food is very good. They have so much options. Staff are all welcoming and accommodating. Most of them greet guests on hallways. The security is very good. Even guests can not easily access the floor where the rooms are located since you always need to tap the keycard. My only complain was the elevators. They have 3, I believe. But it takes a while for 1 to arrive everytime we need it. And this happened not only a few times, but althrougout our stay. I also have friends who stayed there from March 22-25. So I was visiting the hotel, and it was the same.

I always check in this hotel everytime I have to pass by cebu for travel lay over, thus is my second favorite to Bayfront, clean big bed comfortable blanket and pillows wide hall way and refrigerator although my disappointment this time is that they remove the kittle in the room for a hot water for coffee drinker and tea. As of now they just installed a water despenser at the end of the hallway of which is very discomfort to walk a long hallway just to get a hot water. I wish they have one available to borrow or rent in the room service as not all costumer want to drink coffee in the morning. This hotel is considered 4 star although I dont understand why they just remove the kittle in every room. they have a breakfast that is 600 pesos per head it is good quality and excellent selection for asian, european and american food. were actually coming back this coming may together with my sister and inlaw I would probably going to somewhere else instead. Bath room is quite smaller than other room as they devided in 3 parts shower, sink and toilet, they have very strong water supply and hot water is unlimited.

Hotel is very easy to find. Stone throw away from Robinson's and walkable from SM Cebu. Beside a 7-11. Spacious Rooms, staff informed me that TV cable doesn't work. Towels and toiletries provided. Breakfast buffet is a great deal. Great staff too. WIFI signal is strong, However, there are small cockroaches and the water smells very rusty. A/C kinda noisy but tolerable. Nonetheless, we had a comfortable stay.

The mattress was low quality. You can feel the wires of the springs. We turned it over but the same. It really needs a good thick mattress topper. The air-conditioner was very noisy. There needs to be signs in the passage way that should instruct people to be quiet because people sleep here. Kids were noisy, slaming doors and talking loudly.

Me and my friend stayed at mad monkey for 5 days which was far too long but we didn’t know when we booked that there wasn’t much to do. When we arrived we didn’t get the most friendly welcome from reception we didn’t get told about any events going on in the hostel or any trips that the hostel were offering We found the room was quite dirty and very loud on the road side. The air con made the loudest noises and half the time it was hot. The room smelt very mouldy and damp. The floors looked like they haven’t been cleaned for months especially looking under the beds. The walls were cracked and the paints hanging of the walls. No one cleaned the room in 5 days but we did get toilet roll delivery’s. We found it quite hard to chill near the pool as there wasn’t any comfy chairs and it was a greenhouse in there and soo hot we couldn’t sit there for long. It’s all enclosed and we was told on a very occasions that they couldn’t turn on the aircon. We was pretty disappointed with the food prices(the food was nice) although the pizza doughs were a bit undercooked they were so expensive to say it’s a hostel with backpackers on a budget staying there. For 2 meals it cost us £15. And we spent £3 getting a can of red bull which would cost less in England. We wanted to join in on the beer pong one night and we was told we wasn’t aloud to play if we didn’t buy a bucket of beer which was a big of a money making scheme really so we didn’t end up playing and we didn’t want to drink that night to save on money. Everyone should be able to play as some people don’t drink alcohol. We enjoyed to music quiz we found that was a good laugh. The music was very good in the bar and the dj was great. We also found out you couldn’t buy bottled water which was disappointing so we went to the shop to get bottles. They only have one water dispenser in the full building which is very inconvenient and should have one on every floor. we thought the monkey punch was great and did get you drunk with the free shots. Our only recommendation is that you do this promotion later as 7-8 is still quite early if you don’t go out till 12. Overall wasn’t the best and wouldn’t recommend for backpackers on a budget.

We only stayed a night at the Palazzo Pensionne. It was a good place for a night in Cebu city. The room was clean and had everything you needed. The bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. There is a free breakfast, which is a nice start into the day. The location is alright. It's a bit away from the hustle of the city so it's quiet at night but not too far to walk to where all the action is. I would recommend this place. It's good value for money.

BEST HOTEL AND ACCESSIBLE TO MALLS, PIER AND OFFICES HERE IN CEBU. HOTEL ROOM IS VERY COZY AND HOMIE. AC is Very cold. HOT AND COLD SHOWER AVAILABLE EXCPET FOR THE BIDET. Hotel room lighting is the best! Accommodating staffs and has cafeteria at the first floor. Wifi is also good too!

After a few years I came back to this great hotel. For the price it's perfect with good wifi, clean room, good bathroom, comfy bed and really nice staff. The location is great too. Breakfast is quite nice but basic. I will stay here again next time I'm in Cebu.
