Hotel berhampiran City Soho Mall, Cebu

CHECK IN - the welcome was warm. Greeted by the security at the lobby and instructed to go to 3rd floor (main lobby) for checkin. Approached the front desk and the woman I spoke with (she was the manager I guess) told me to wait because rooms are still not ready since they were fully booked from yesterday's event. A few minutes later they approched and.proceeded with checkin. They gave us a room, away from the main elevator (which I requested), but gave us the the accessible room just beside the service elevator. I guess they have overbooked because I heard someone said, ”to release the buffer rooms.” The front desk lady who assisted me was nice and courteous. The only thing that was off from that experience was the tone of voice of the lady manager. I guess the regional accent was a factor, but I can sense she was judging me for my looks because I was only wearing slippers that time, and she can't find my booking at first, because it was a last minute booking. Not really creating an issue out of that, but just saying, don't judge, and please, the tone of voice. THE ROOM - everything was great, just a basic room. PROS: A bed, the lights, there's a smart TV, water heater and 2 mugs, a pitcher and 2 water glasses, towels, toothbrush, a hairdryer, 2 rolls of tissue paper, body wash and shampoo refills, airconditioning, and a water refill station near the elevator, hot and cold water in the bathroom. CONS: they could have added slippers (even the reusable ones) because the floor is very cold. The room that was given to us had its bathroom tiles not set properly or balanced, so the water is everywhere in the bathroom instead of going to the drain. RESTAURANT - there's free breakfast at the resto called Seaedr Prime. There's not much from the breakfast menu, and the bangus was not available. It includes the main dish plus fried rice, coffee, and fruit. They had watermelons served during our 2 night stay. SERVICE - it was great. The housekeeper cleaned the room while we're away. OVERALL - I would definitely book this hotel again for a very good deal. Location is nice and I would even compare it to a Holiday Inn.

While this hotel was supposed to a little Luxury on our last night in Cebu agyer travelling for the last week in El Nido we were dissapointed as the shower ran cold and the TV was old and there was no remote present . We just wanted to shower and relax before our next flight to Bagiou City Seemingly, the boiler was replaced, which was not mentioned on our check in The room was adequate, and at least the air conditioning worked over all it was OK but not the best stay I have ever had

I love the water dispenser idea to reduce plastic use. Can take hot, normal and cold water from the machine near my room 605. I felt so familiar when I decided to book a night here. When I went into the room I opened my email to see that I stayed once on 21 March 2019. Room is very large and comfortable although not new. The charming of the hotel and staff are still the same. Breakfast is set and simple. Restaurant is closed at 21:30pm so we had to walk outside to have dinner. Easy to find places to eat around the hotel. Near 2 Robinson malls at the roundabout and near a convenience store. Deposit 1,000 Peso. 7th floor has very high walls around so views are blocked. If they renovate, hope that they would make glass fences instead.

Very disappointed with our stay this time! We tried to contact the hotel directly via the given contact number to let them know we would be arriving very late many times and nobody picked up our call, the phone was ringing but unanswered. (See image) We arrived shortly after 10:20pm, once we checked in, we requested at the front desk 2x extra pillows and 2x extra large towels. These are charged extra and non-refundable. It was nice we were given the same room as on our last visit. The extra pillows and towels arrived quickly to us in the room. However the problems started there. Upon inspection of the bedding we discovered found a number of black stains on the bed sheet. Some were directly hidden under the blue decorative bed ribbon. The 2x extra pillows we requested and paid for had big orange coloured stains visible through the linen pillowcases. (See images) The 2 extra large towels we requested and paid for were old, grey and also had stains on them. (See images) It took 2 calls to front desk, and under 30mins for housekeeping to show up. Finally once everything was sorted its was over almost an hour from our first call to the front desk! We told the housekeeping team to inform the duty manager and front desk that we would like a response back. We showed the house keeping Team the images we x1had taken and informed them we would be checking out at early around 8am. Come 8am, we checked out and no response was given to us for the poor housekeeping standard during our second, one night stay. Such a same, as we will be returning to Cebu 02 to 05 Dec 2023 and have now chosen a different hotel.

The hotel is located close to all the major historical and cultural sights (cathedrals, museums, casas, port - it'll take you 20 minutes maximum to get anywhere you want on foot). There are two 7-Eleven shops and a couple of malls with huge supermarkets nearby. The hotel offers breakfast as advertised, but also lunch and dinner. I didn't book it during my stay, though, because the variety wasn't particularly striking to my taste. The room is OK: quite spacious and not too dark. The cleaning service functions daily. They don't offer any water or toothbrushes/toothpaste. The AC is pretty old and loud, but it is often the case in cities other than Manila (judging from my experience). Personally, I didn't have any problems during my stay there.

Ini adalah kali kedua saya menggunakan perkhidmatan ini dan saya sangat berpuas hati. Ia adalah hotel termurah di Cebu, dan pada hari ini, ia adalah sebuah bilik besar dengan dua katil double yang boleh memuatkan tiga orang. Cucu saya, yang suka bersenam, sangat gembira dengan bilik gim, yang mempunyai jurulatih yang bertugas, ruang yang luas dengan banyak peralatan, dan studio tarian yang berasingan dengan cermin besar. Makan malam adalah perkhidmatan bilik pada harga yang rendah, dengan menu sihat berpusat pada sayur-sayuran, dan dihantar serta-merta selepas membuat pesanan. Jika anda akan menginap di Cebu, Allson,s Inn akan menjadi pilihan anda yang seterusnya.

Tinggal bersama keluarga saya. Ia mempunyai bau yang sedikit hapak, tetapi lokasinya baik dan terdapat dua bilik mandi, jadi saya mempunyai penginapan yang sangat selesa. Satu perkara yang malang ialah hotel ditutup dari jam 12:00 hingga 2:00 pada hari daftar keluar, jadi mereka meminta saya mendaftar masuk dari jam 11:10. Sarapan termasuk dalam harga, jadi ia benar-benar berbaloi untuk wang.

I had a good stay here with my friend. The staffs are very accommodating and approachable. Room is very neat and cozy. It is near to famous places in Cebu. The breakfast buffet is very delicious!! 😋

Very near the mall And a lot of nearby restaurants The bedsheets are clean I just dont like the restroom it looks old. I bought some dried fish and pack in a box but they dont allow me to leave it to the concierge, instead they leave it outside of the hotel.

Great stay at the hotel Parklane, lots of convenient amenities like a great coffee shop and nice pool. The WiFi wasn’t especially reliable, but everyone was so friendly and kind.
