Overall, rooms are nice even if they are on the smaller side but considering the nightly rate, it’s perfect. "I had a wonderful stay at Fili Hotel and was truly impressed from start to finish. The hotel is beautifully designed, with modern interiors and a luxurious yet comfortable atmosphere. Every detail, from the lobby to the rooms, feels thoughtfully curated and elegant.
The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the amenities provided made the stay even more convenient and relaxing. I also appreciated the peaceful ambiance, which made it easy to unwind.
The staff were exceptional—friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Their hospitality truly made the experience memorable.
The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, which I appreciated. While there were many options available, I feel there is still a little room for improvement in terms of selection and variety. That said, the food was fresh and nicely prepared.

"I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Poor service. First time in my life I got to use the bidet as shower. We called the receptionist for our complain about the unbearable hot temperature of their shower and we are told that they will call the engineering dept.to respond to the issue. But after almost an hour of waiting (imagine, I already got my body pre-showered,because I stopped when I felt that the water is so hot) we got a call asking if we will be extending our stay. And luckily, it was my husband who answered the call. And calmly replied, “No, we will be checking out in a moment”. Because if I were the one who got the chance to answer the call, then I will say “we will definitely not extending our stay. And never to come again.”
I decided to just use the bidet as shower so we can leave the place.
I hope this will not happen to anybody.
Their price doesnt justify the means.

Though the structure is quite old, the cleanliness very much compensated for it. The people are amazing too! Very hospitable, fun, and accommodating. The bar is open 24/7. Just a few steps from the hostel is a restaurant (part of Casa Rosario) and a 7/11. This is located near Saint Theresa's College and is within walking distance to Mango Avenue and Fuente Osmeña Circle. It'll be interesting to stay here for more than just one night and just explore the neighborbood."

DDunnSallyGreat location,. Hotel was fine as you get what you pay for. Only strong negative was that we had very little water for the shower, & would suddenly have no water when showering. I understand the water pressure us nig great but the hotel should inform you that you may not have any water to shower. We thought it maybe an issue with ouf room BYT our family who were in a separate room had the same issue.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaWe booked two rooms for 7 nights at the Sheraton Cebu Mactan. We are two families traveling together with three young children and a pregnant wife. We were excited for a relaxing vacation, but after just 4 days, we wanted to check out early.
The hotel agreed to refund only one room (around 900–1000 USD), but refused to refund the second room. This decision was made even though the hotel is completely full (Chinese New Year, peak season). Our rooms could have been sold to other guests immediately, so there was no financial risk to the hotel.
Why We Wanted to Leave Early:
1. Food Issues (Very Important for Muslim Families)
The hotel is in an isolated location with no restaurants nearby. The on-site restaurants serve mostly spicy Asian food, often containing pork. As Muslim families with young children, we cannot eat spicy food or pork. This made every meal a struggle.
2. Transportation (A Nightmare)
Getting a taxi is extremely difficult.
· When we wanted to leave the hotel to go to the city, we often waited over an hour for a taxi.
· When we tried to return to the hotel from the city (like Cebu), we waited up to 2 hours because drivers refuse to come to this hotel.
· Even within the Mactan area, finding a taxi was not easy.
· The hotel offers a transfer service, but it costs 2–3 times more than a regular taxi. For a family, this is not a practical solution.
3. Maintenance Issues
On the very first day, we reported that the sink was clogged – water drained very slowly. We were promised it would be fixed. After 3 days, nothing had been done.
On day 3, I personally told the General Manager, Mr. Robin Bernard, about the problem. He said: ”No problem, I will solve it.”
But even after his promise, nothing happened.
Finally, on day 4, housekeeping came to our room. We showed them the problem by running the water. They saw it immediately and called an engineer, who fixed it within 20 minutes.
Mr. Bernard's promise meant nothing. The regular staff fixed it.
Our Conversation with Management
We requested an early checkout. Mr. Ross Bautista genuinely tried to help us. He suggested a possible refund for one room and arranged a meeting with his superior to discuss our case.
That meeting was with General Manager Robin Bernard. Here is what happened:
· He claimed he ”knew the situation”, but could not explain any details. We had to tell him everything again: about the children, the pregnant wife, the food, the transportation.
· Throughout the conversation, he was arrogant and condescending. It felt like he was not listening, just waiting for us to finish.
· We explained that the hotel was fully booked (Chinese New Year, peak season), so letting us leave early would not hurt his business. The rooms would be sold again immediately.
· His response was shocking. He looked at us and said, word for word:
”You should not think about my business. It's my concern.”
Then, one minute later, when we asked for understanding, he said:
”I have to think about my business.”
There is no logic. It felt like he just wanted to show his power and punish us for asking.
The result? Nothing changed. Ross Bautista tried, but his hands were tied. Robin Bernard simply confirmed his original decision and showed zero empathy.
As long as Mr. Robin Bernard is the General Manager, we will never return to this hotel. His arrogance, empty promises, and complete lack of care for families with children and special dietary needs are destroying the reputation of this Sheraton.
To other Muslim families or anyone traveling with young children: I strongly recommend choosing a different hotel. Here, your needs will be ignored if the manager does not feel like helping.

SStan LeungCrimson Hotel has excellent staff, friendly service, and great facilities such as the bubble pool party on Saturdays and private beach snorkeling. The location is a bit far from the city, but the shuttle helps. Rooms are clean though somewhat dated, and dining in the hotel restaurants is pricey, with overall costs on the higher side.

PPengguna Tetamuочень хороший небольшой отель (позиционирует себя как бутик). прекрасное питание. цены несколько выше чем скажем в городке, но не сильно.
уборка, обслуживание и проч. на уровне.
есть свой небольшой но очень красивый риф с кучей живущих там черепах (правда заход в воду не супер, но там везде так)
надо и минусы упомянуть:
1. в душе в номере на 2 этаже ну совсем слабый напор воды, ну просто тонкая струйка (и холодной и горячей)
2. далеко от аэропорта (но хорошие места на Себу всегда так :( )

MMzcindyongI recently stayed at Bluewater Maribago and had an overall pleasant experience. The resort offers a relaxing atmosphere with strong hospitality standards and several standout features, though there are also areas that could benefit from improvement.
What I Liked
1. Excellent service and hospitality, especially at the Oyster Bar. The staff were attentive, warm, and professional, which truly elevated the dining experience.
2. Newly refurbished modern rooms that feel fresh, clean, and well-designed for comfort.
3. Convenient buggy service around the property, which makes getting around easy and enjoyable.
4. Lifeguards stationed at all pools and swimming areas, providing reassurance and a strong sense of safety for guests.
5. Anuma Spa’s ambience and treatment selection, which offer a relaxing environment with a wide range of spa services to choose from.
Areas for Improvement
1. Breakfast management during peak hours needs significant improvement. Around 8:30 AM, the breakfast area becomes very busy, and food replenishment is slow. For example, while there are three hot steamers dedicated to eggs, bacon — a hot favorite — is served on a small plate that gets wiped out within seconds. Food supply and quality control during peak periods should be better managed to ensure consistency. The bread selection, however, is excellent and deserves recognition.
2. Security procedures may unintentionally compromise guest privacy. Guests are frequently asked to state their room number when leaving the lobby, and again when entering through the guardhouse — first to taxi drivers and then to security officers. This means multiple strangers may overhear room numbers, which raises safety and privacy concerns. A more discreet verification process would enhance guest security.
3. Spa promotions for in-house guests are lacking. While the spa experience is excellent, there are currently no exclusive perks for staying guests. Introducing options such as an early bird discount (e.g., 10:00 AM–3:00 PM) or curated half-day and full-day “head-to-toe recharge” packages would be attractive. The spa pricing is relatively high compared to comparable standard spas outside the hotel, so value-added incentives for in-house guests would make the experience even more appealing.
Overall, Bluewater Maribago offers a comfortable and well-maintained resort experience with strong service standards. With improvements in breakfast management, privacy-focused security procedures, and enhanced spa promotions for in-house guests, the resort could further elevate its guest experience.

LLeeroy TravelsAmazing hotel for Cebu travelers!
The location is perfect — right in the city center and within walking distance to Ayala Mall. There are also great restaurants and spa/massage salons nearby, which makes everything very convenient.
The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating throughout my stay.
One small area for improvement would be the breakfast, especially the bacon 🥓. It looked and tasted like it had been reheated several times and had lost its appeal.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel. 4.9/5.0 👍👍👍

TTW2024I love the water dispenser idea to reduce plastic use. Can take hot, normal and cold water from the machine near my room 605. I felt so familiar when I decided to book a night here. When I went into the room I opened my email to see that I stayed once on 21 March 2019. Room is very large and comfortable although not new. The charming of the hotel and staff are still the same. Breakfast is set and simple. Restaurant is closed at 21:30pm so we had to walk outside to have dinner. Easy to find places to eat around the hotel. Near 2 Robinson malls at the roundabout and near a convenience store. Deposit 1,000 Peso. 7th floor has very high walls around so views are blocked. If they renovate, hope that they would make glass fences instead.

LLeif ReyYou get what you pay for with this hotel. Although some of the appliances are old they still get the job done. The smart tv was a great addition to the room as it allowed us to watch and stream movies and tv shows. The only disappointing part was the internet connection as it wasn't stable and it wasn't fast enough to use reliably if you wanted to work.

PPengguna TetamuThis is a wonderful hotel for families the pools and facilities are fantastic and great for kids and families. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. On check in you do have to deposit 2000 pesos per night, but while you are eating at the restaurant you can charge it to your room and pay out of the deposit. There is not much outside the resort so most meals will most likely be spent there. The food is very nice with a good selection and breakfast/dinner buffet available or have a la carte.

YYhang MasecampoI would like to commend all the staffs from the hotel’s breakfast buffet area. They were so accommodating and ready to assist without a need to be prompted. Was just a bit disappointed at time of check-in when asked if early check-in was possible. Not because that the room wasn’t ready yet but it’s because of the Receptionist’s (Rhea-wearing eye glasses) approach and responses to the said request. Nevertheless, had a good stay and might be coming back to stay.
