My wife, son, and I went there for my birthday. We wanted to try a new resort in Cebu. Wow were we overwhelmed and surprised. The Sheraton staff treated us with kindness and as if we had been there multiple times. Every single staff member greeted us. From the housekeeping to the guards at both entrances. They even took my son by the hand and kept him entertained while we were checking in. They gave him popcorn. I was also shocked at the one restaurant when they sang happy birthday and gave me a wonderfully delightful cake. It was so smooth and silky. The food was also perfect and tender. The sauce for the fries was very creamy and tasty. For the first time in the almost twelve years in Cebu, even having been to numerous Cebuano resorts including Shangri-la everything was 100 percent perfect. The wifi was strong and no lag, the food was perfect, parking perfect, staff were perfect, beach and pool were clean and perfect. We even go to feed the fish as well which the guard at the water activities area gave us. I mean it was all around perfect for the first time here in Cebu. At Breakfast they even gave me a thank you cake for staying there. I couldn't believe it. It really felt homey and that warm feeling. For the money we spent it was 100 percent worth it. Oh by the way the atmosphere was perfect too. No loud people on cellphones everywhere talking or taking selfies and the like.

We were pleasantly surprised by what an amazing hotel this has been. The staff have been so lovely and accommodating. From the room staff, front desk staff, and wait staff they were beyond lovely. We even took time to eat at their restaurant in house and our server Aden took great care of us. I was also SO happy to see our turn down service came with dried mangoes. 10/10 would book again.

I stayed here twice in April & May 2023 and was consistently impressed with the staff & the property. The staff was very friendly, helpful, accommodating and very courteous. The deluxe room had a great view, was large, clean, modern and very comfortable all around. The buffet breakfast was excellent with good selection of Western and Pilipino dishes. And the table service was excellent—shout out to Ariel and staff for a very attentive service! I was also pleasantly surprised at the quality & selection of drink’s & pastries at the Cafe also punctuated by excellent service. The property has 3 great pools, a small private beach , picnic area & fitness center. For me the only service missing is the food room service but it’s a minor item for what I needed. The location is an about 30 min from Mactan airport in a secluded gated area. Getting here was through local neighborhood and inconvenient from other restaurants & services so you’re pretty much will be staying on the property unless you want to go out for a long drive. I paid 650 pesos for a Grab ride around noon time from IT park to Reef. I have been to many 5 star Western style resort hotels in US, Europe & Asia and Reef compares well especially if you can book a discounted room for less than $150 USD. Overall, I highly recommend the Reef Island Resort hotel and will return again when I’m in the area. Definitely a good value for the money and excellent staff.

Beautiful resort. There for wedding. My room was spacious and clean. Tv and WiFi working. My concern as a senior was lack of safety bars in the bathroom. Stairs to and from beach were a challenge. More ramps would help. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nicely done. Wedding venue was bright and decorated with flowers and set ups. Good stay.

Great place to stay with your loved ones. Staff are friendly and accomodating plus they are always smiling. The Salt Restaurant made us feel like they are always there to attend to our needs. Great location, nice no frills Philippines kind of hotel, it is on the ocean and has a pool. Breakfast is included as well. We paid an average of about $35 per night, the room was comfortable, also the room has a balcony with a table and chairs for enjoying the ocean view, or just hanging on. The staff is wonderful and very friendly, which is the norm for the Phillippines. I would recommend this place to anyone. It is minutes from Mactan airport, so it is perfect after a long flight to get to comfort. I give it 5 stars for location, staff helpfulness, and breakfast.

We had an amazing weekend getaway in Palm Beach Resort. Location was ok. It wasnt the best location BUT it has a 711 just across the road and the hotel has a nice store in their lobby that sells snacks, drinks, swimsuits, swimming things, etc on a very reasonable price. We originally booked a standard room but upon checking in, they upgraded us to a deluxe room which i was so grateful for. It was a nice, big room. It has a small balcony, tv with cable, split type aircon, 1 double bed, 1 single bed, 1 sofa, mini fridge, mini kitchen area (no utensils though just sink and electric kettle), and bathroom. The room itself was so nice however, the bathroom could have been thought better. Water pressure isnt that great especially if theres a lot of guests in the hotel. Im just a bit sad they didnt clean our room for the 3 days we stayed. Also, next door resorts might kinda be loud at night or during mornings. The amenities were beautiful. They have 4 swimming pools: a small 2ft pool and 3 good sized pool thats 1x 4ft and 2x 5ft deep. Everywhere you go in their beach area has places to sit on. They have a small restaurant, a mini chapel, a small game room (billiards, foosball, and sungka), and my favorite: kid’s play area with slides and playhouse. Its a small resort but amenities were well thought of. They also have access to the sea. No beach though but stairs going to the sea water only. The staff were nice. Very kind and accomodating. Price per room is super duper worth it!! With how big the room is and amenities you and your kids can enjoy, its really great! As long as you are not that picky, then this resort is good for you. Overall, we had a good time. My kids has a wonderful time. Will we stay here again? Why not. It sure is a nice resort. First off, I’ll start by saying rather pay a little extra and stay at the Belmont Hotel next door, which I’ll explain below. I stayed at the Belmont Hotel for 2 nights and 5 nights at Savoy Hotel. Had I had the choice of being able to refund at the Savoy, I would have done so. Let me start with the positives. The cleaning staff and staff alike at Savoy are absolutely fantastic - so kind, so respectful and friendly. The attitude of the staff should be commended! The service of the room was good. The front desk staff, some of them, may just let you stand and wait aimlessly. I initially booked the Superior Deluxe Room. I arrived at 12pm and check-in was at 3pm. I eventually got to my room and it was tiny. Plus there’s an adjoining door to the room next door where you can hear everything. I then noticed several dead cockroaches in the bathroom. I then went downstairs and changed rooms and paid for an upgrade for the Deluxe Premier Room which was bigger and no adjoining room. Note that at the Belmont the room was not an adjoining room and had good sound insulation. Upon entry to my now upgraded room, there were several live cockroaches in the bathroom and then some baby ones on the wall behind the sofa and on the bed! I immediately changed rooms again! This time the second room was better. It was a corner room with a view of the ocean at one side and the swimming pool at the other. Every day, the staff serviced the rooms really well, I must commend Savoy for this. However, Savoy really needs to purchase new bathroom towels which are yellowed, broken and tattered. The room is good at blocking out noise from outside, and the bed was relatively comfortable. You can’t, however, order breakfast from the restaurant unless you purchase the buffet. Makes no sense as you should give your guests a choice if they want the buffet or order breakfast from the hotels breakfast menu. Overall, the highlight of my stay was the incredible and friendly staff (servicing staff and security) who always, numerous times a day, greeted us warmly with a big smile.
