Langritz Taihefu Hotel

Firstly, the hotel changed its name and now it is called - Palace Garden Hotel. Secondly, the hotel is located far from the city center and some distance from the main road. But there is a metro station "Life Science Park" within 10 minutes walk. The one-story hotel is built in the traditional style of an old Chinese palace. In the room where I stayed there was no bed and the bed was right on the floor. The room is very small, maximum for two. Instead of a TV there was a projector on the entire wall. Although there is nothing to watch there since there is absolutely no content in English. The hotel has a very beautiful courtyard with a large old park and a pond. There are many buildings in traditional style and everything is very beautiful. This is probably its main advantage, it is very unusual. Minimalist breakfast in traditional chinese style. The only downside I can name is the absolute lack of knowledge of English by the staff, even at the reception.

Room is clean & comfy. Nice environment & oriental surroundings. Staffs are overall very nice and helpful. Breakfast is great with many choices available. Abt 30 mins' drive to Summer Palace, Yuan Ming Yuan & Tshing Hua.. abt 800m from the nearest metro station. Just 1 thing to improve on.. when we arrived at the concierge at night there was no one to help with our luggages & brought us to our room.. and there was no chairs for us to sit on.. after several requests a very young lady came to help us with a little trolley to carry more than 7 luggage bags.. it made me wonder, were there no men in the hotel? Anyway it would be much better if there are chairs being placed at the concierge area 'coz the reception is quite a distance from the waiting area.

#taihefu The lovely hotel we chose when visiting Beijing this year. The front office staffs are friendly and helpful. It is suitable for kids because they have a small "zoo" inside with peacocks, rabbits,...The room is clean, super huge bed!!! You should try roasted duck at the restaurant near the hotel, delicious. Will come back next time 🥰

Lovely stay at the hotel, room very comfortable, very nice selection for breakfast. The bunnies and peacocks are super cute 😊 Although far from central Beijing, it’s reachable by transport and also closer to train stations that serve the link to Badaling Great Wall.

Very beautiful hotel with nice friendly staffs. Room and bed is big and comfortable. There is mini animal farm at their backyard. Kids will love it. The only downside is there is nothing nearby except for a mini mart at entrance, so not much option for meals except in their on site restaurant which is very exp.

A very beautiful hotel with very clean rooms. They have everything you need including drip coffee in your room. Only drawback is that it is a little far from the city in my opinion. It is however, close to a metro line. Overall it is a relaxing good experience.

The hotel is beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable. It is located very far north, however, is close to the Summer Palace and the Great Wall. The staff were friendly and professional. Unfortunately, we only stayed for 2 nights and were unable to make use of all their amenties. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice Hotel with good Buffet Restaurant. Nearby to the Chinese Wall ( 1 1/2 hours) but therefore not that close to Downtown (45min).

The location wasn’t central to Beijing and in the middle of nowhere but close to the tube and not too far to the city centre. Beautiful hotel though, great food, cute rooms, large pond, small animal area and helpful staff. Room comes with a futon bed and a projector you can use AirPlay with from your phone/laptop. Only negative would be the rooms could be a bit cleaner, some mould in patches.
