Due to a change in my travel plans, I extended my stay at this hotel for another day. Every front desk staff member was incredibly polite and always greeted me proactively. There are plenty of great restaurants around the hotel, and getting around is super convenient. It's also very close to the Mountain Resort, just a short walk away. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable – really excellent, with complete facilities. I highly recommend it to my friends!

The service here is excellent, and the staff are incredibly warm and attentive. Although some rooms are a bit small, they promptly helped us switch to a larger, more comfortable room after we spoke with customer service. When we mentioned the shower water temperature wasn't quite right, they immediately adjusted it for us and even proactively arranged an additional room, showing great efficiency in problem-solving. Given the price, the facilities are practical rather than luxurious, but the rooms are clean and tidy, making for a very pleasant stay overall. Any issues we had were resolved quickly, and the hotel's location is fantastic for easy travel. I'm very satisfied and would definitely recommend it!

The lady at the front desk was so kind and welcoming. Even though she was small, she insisted on helping me with my luggage. The room was incredibly clean, and most importantly, it had no strange smells! For a hotel using heating in winter, achieving no odor is truly impressive. Plus, as a woman, something I really appreciate is when the shower has great hot water and strong pressure – that's a huge bonus!

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; they even told me about local attractions and restaurants when I arrived, which was very thoughtful. The location is absolutely fantastic, really close to all the sights. My room was spotless and very comfortable. I felt completely at ease during my stay. This hotel definitely deserves a full five-star rating, and I'll be staying here again on my next visit.

The room was well-equipped, and even the slippers were individually bagged and sanitized, which made me feel very comfortable using them. The elevator made getting up and down super convenient. There were illustrations on the walls, and the room smelled fresh and clean, with no strange odors. Overall, it was a very comfortable and reassuring stay.

The room facilities were complete, and having 24-hour hot water was very convenient. The room was clean and tidy, and the towels were all individually wrapped, which made me feel at ease using them. The service was also very satisfactory; staff were always available to bring anything I needed. Overall, I'm very pleased.

The price was reasonable, and the hotel exceeded my expectations! The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The staff were warm and attentive, and the surrounding area had convenient transportation and plenty of dining options. Overall, this is an excellent hotel and definitely worth recommending! 👍

For my first visit to Chengde, I booked this hotel through Ctrip, primarily for its convenient location near the Mountain Resort. The service truly stood out; from the helpful parking attendant to the two gracious ladies at the front desk, their attentiveness and warmth were easily five-star quality. They even upgraded us to a more spacious room with floor-to-ceiling windows. The room was well-appointed, very cozy, and impeccably clean, complete with thoughtful amenities like disposable toilet seat covers. Although the bathroom wasn't designed with a separate wet and dry area, the provided disinfected shower slippers were a practical and appreciated touch. Location-wise, it's a fantastic spot – less than a ten-minute walk to the Mountain Resort, with an abundance of restaurants, shopping centers, and supermarkets right nearby. Super convenient!

Room is big, furnishing modern though can tell the hotel infrastructure is old. We managed to catch the afternoon tour with Xiao Rui at 130pm, and we happened to be her only tour group. She is knowledgeable and did a good job talking non-stop for 4hrs. A 5-star rated guide!

The hotel's facade is a little understated, but once you step inside, the reception area boasts a European-inspired decor. An elevator provides direct access to the rooms, which is very convenient.
The rooms themselves were perfectly adequate for our needs. A major highlight is the location: it's incredibly close to the Chengde Mountain Resort, probably just a 5-10 minute walk away. We arrived quite late after a long journey that evening, but the staff were still on hand to help guide us to parking and proactively offered to assist with our luggage. Their service was exceptionally warm and attentive – a big thumbs up! 👍
The only drawback is the lack of breakfast. We had to find our own food, and I personally didn't manage to find any suitable options nearby – though I'm not sure if I was just looking in the wrong places. However, a leisurely stroll around the park directly opposite was genuinely relaxing!

This was my second stay at Sofitel Chengde Mountain Resort. The front desk service was excellent, and this time they arranged a quiet room for me upon arrival. Unlike my first visit, there were no issues whatsoever. My quiet room also meant there was no train noise from passing trains, ensuring a very restful night. The Sofitel is conveniently located close to all the main attractions, especially the Mountain Resort, making it an ideal choice for many tourists visiting Chengde. Dining options in the vicinity are very convenient, and there's a large shopping mall right next door, making it incredibly easy for any shopping needs. They also have a laundry room, which was a great solution for my clothes that had gotten damp from the past two rainy days. I'll definitely choose Sofitel again on my next visit to Chengde!

Sophia Hotel was truly impressive; not only were the rooms spacious and bright, but the service was also exceptionally attentive. A unique highlight is that the hotel even has its own travel agency. During our stay, we took part in a guided tour of the Summer Resort for just 9.9 yuan per person. Our guide, Xiao Yu, was incredibly professional and thoughtful, and despite the five-hour tour, we didn't feel tired at all. The only minor drawback was the limited parking space. It's understandable, though, as being so close to the resort naturally makes parking a challenge. However, dining options for all three meals are very convenient nearby, with many popular restaurants within easy walking distance!

A truly wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic, even coming to greet me from a distance to help with my luggage. The hotel also thoughtfully provided guests with tourist maps, which was a very nice touch. The rooms were clean and tidy, and both the rooms and even the stairwells were decorated and furnished with great care and attention to detail. The hotel also boasts an excellent location; it's just a short walk to the Imperial Summer Resort, and the Wulie River Greenway Park is right next door. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I ever return to Chengde!

The hotel boasts an excellent location in a vibrant area, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. Upon arrival, the staff went above and beyond, helping us find a parking spot and even carrying our luggage – truly great service! Once checked in, the experience was generally good, and the room itself was quite spacious. However, I found the mattress to be a bit lumpy and not as soft as I would have liked. The bathroom also lacked hand soap, only providing a small bar of soap, which felt a bit out of place given the hotel's overall European style. Furthermore, the shower space was rather cramped; a larger person might struggle to turn around comfortably. I hope these areas can be improved. The complimentary breakfast was from McDonald's, with very limited options. This wasn't communicated before booking, and I had assumed the hotel would have its own restaurant. All in all, despite these points, it was still a pretty decent stay.
