Hotel Chiang Khan dengan Sarapan

This resort is too far to walk from the river walk/walking street, but we had rented a car and it's a very short drive. The trade-off is worth it - this is an extremely nice resort, the best we've stayed at in the north outside of any big city. The room was spacious with balcony and great river view. They provided a cot for our baby. The grounds are very well kept with lots of interesting things to look at (it's a selfie paradise!) Good breakfast buffet, everyone very friendly. Not worth dropping a star for, but I think the restaurant could open a bit later (the kitchen closes at 7pm but no rush to finish eating). Also be careful with the shower, it takes a while but the water can then get scalding hot and high pressure. With care though, it was good to have a nice warm shower with good pressure - yes, a contradiction, it's too much of a good thing and you need to be careful. Anyway it really felt like we were on holiday, it's a fabulous place to relax and honestly the staff were exceptionally friendly (it turns out that people here love babies, but they were always helpful anyway). If you have a car then it's easily the best choice, if not then consider it anyway but I can't comment on any transport arrangements to the walking street.

Aufmachung ist sehr nice. Allerdings ist es mit der Sauberkeit naja. Auch das Frühstück war eher traurig. Gut der Preis war in Ordnung

We stayed at the new Suneta 2 which is the same establishment as the hostel but a different location along the same street. We had the only downstairs room which was spacious with a bedroom you could close off, a hallway where the sink was, and a large bathroom with a WC room, shower, and a bathtub. Interior was beautiful and charming. Definitely felt like there could've been more hooks and storage space as there were essentially none. The view of the river was nice and unobstructed from the room and on the ground floor you also have the Koi pond by your terrace. Outside our room was the common sitting area where guests would take turns being served breakfast in the morning, unfortunately, this was also the major issue since there's no soundproofing of the rooms whatsoever. Everything is made of wood so you'll hear every footstep, creak, and noise made. Not only do you hear your neighbors in their rooms but having the room next to the ”breakfast area” was, frankly, awful and extremely noisy in the mornings. We were also disappointed that the breakfast was fixed and couldn't cater to dietary restrictions. In the reception area there's water, coffee, and tea. The space is kept tidy and the only employee, Na, was very warm and friendly.

Great experience at the SongPhuaMia guesthouse. Entrance is right in the walking street, one of the main attraction of Chiang Khan. The house itself is a traditional Thai house, renovated, very clean and well taken care of. The hosts are very professional, friendly can detail oriented. They will go beyond their duty to make your stay a great one. Special note for the breakfast which absolutely amazing and it will be an highlight of your stay there! All in all, the best choice in Chiang Khan!

I Stayed Two Nights At Baan Thai Samukkee Resort. The Resort Near Main Road. The room is OK, Room Have air-condition,TV, Hot water and coffee set 3 bottles water a day. Breakfast Egg Porridge. The Resort near by Phu tok ,,,and ,,,Kang kid koo,,, And Mae Khong River,,, Night Market Walking Street, Taxi TUK TUK Very Easy to go there, Wiset,,,
