Location wise is good. Took a "red truck" (big version of tuk-tuk) to Wua Lai Walking Street (30 baht), but also walkable about 20mins walk. The environment is clean, the interior of room is the outdated wood type, very basic, but very spacious room. The kingsize or queensize bed is actually 2 single beds put together, so some may not like that. I hv no problem wif that.
The really bad thing is the bathroom. The toilet bowl sits half in the shower and half in the vanity-counter area as u can see in my picture. So if u r the type like me who doesn't like to get your feet wet, this is definitely not the hotel for u. So, i won't book here again.
The swimming pool with sunning beds are in the interior, surrounded by the rooms on four sides. Many foreigners stay here & they sun tan in the afternoon, so it gets noisy as the sound (voices, laughter) echoes right around the 4 sides of rooms (as if it's just next door). But I am out on most afternoons.
The hotel has hanging racks placed along the corridor. So it is good if u need to dry your clothes.
Overall i give it a 3 out of 5. Would I stay here again? No... because of the bathroom toilet bowl.
