Out of the lobby you can walk to the Night Bazaar immediately. About 7 minutes walk to the Food Market where there's live music performances. Monday to Friday are the best nights while Sunday most of the restaurants are closed. About 30 minutes walk from the right side of the lobby you can reach the Old Ciity Wall. It is romantic with the night lighting. There's quite a selection of western, Thai and Chinese food from the hotel breakfast buffet.

Actually it is my second time staying at this hotel. The rooms have good A/C, shower, bath products, like toothbrushing sets. Comfortable bed, and a decent breakfast with a variety of products/meals. There is kind of a ”moldy” smell from the carpets, but it did not bother me so much since I was traveling outside the hotel most of the time.

Hotel Location Is very convenient and close to the town . Night market is just walking distance. We have great massage at the hotel spa. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is variety and delicious, served with hot and cold dishes, waffle and chorus , hash brown is very crunchy. Room is tidy and clean. Hotel is new. We have great time there . We will come back again.

I'm back at this amazing Chiang Mai resort for the fourth time! When I'm in Chiang Mai, Anantara Resort is my number one pick for ”a place to stay”. No matter if I'm here on business or for fun, this place never disappoints. It's right on the Ping River. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and best of all, all rooms have amazing river views! Breakfast here is one of the best in town (in my opinion), and there's a variety of Western and Thai options. Their Lanna Omelet is so good. Try their signature Lanna omelet if you want a taste of fusion-style northern food. This is a great place to stay if you're looking for a weekend getaway or a delightful business trip in Chiang Mai. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in Chiang Mai next time. Stella job!

Stayed another 2 times here, with the rellies. One night when we arrived from Bangkok, the other night when we were heading back to Bangkok. The first night when we went inside the room it seemed like it was full of mosquitoes, certainly plenty of them!! I went down to reception and asked for some insect spray, but the staff insisted that a maintenance person do the deed. He arrived, bent down under the lounge room bench and gave a quick spray, towards the floor!! When he stood up again I took the can and sprayed around the room and bathroom for him. We went out for dinner and when we came back all the pests had gone; Magic!! The second night was fine, for once. Just under 1,000 baht for the 2 nights, so getting cheaper too.

Large rooms Clean Air conditioned Good location - the only positives. The hotel is very run down. Some mornings there was no hot water for a shower or you could have a hot shower or cold shower - no inbetween. Mold in the bathroom . The safe did not work. The door and lock is very flimsy. Bed and pillow very hard. Very noisy - people walking past room and talking sound like they are in your room. Poor breakfast selection - not many options for Westerners. After the first morning even McDonalds was better. We then found a cafe for the next two mornings. Check In receptionist couldn’t speak English which made things tricky. One night before going out we put our key in the drop box. When we got back (9.30) there was nobody there but we could get our key out of the drop box- and so could anyone else who walked in. Security lacking.

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. We took two separate rooms on the top floor. Very small and brand new hotel. Large rooms. Great location near the night bazaar and easy walk to the old city. This is an excellent hotel, clean, big, good location, night market is just 400 ft away, walking distance to many temples . The hotel got airport pickup service which is so convenient. The hotel provides welcomed drinks and served chocolate which is fantastic. Breakfast is good with plenty of varieties. The Thai Restaurant in the hotel is good and cheap. The hotel staffs provide excellent service. Thanks Phim and Arm, tried their best to satisfy our needs and made our stay felt so warm and comfortable. The only downside is the swimming pool and gym is not big enough. Other than that, everything is good. We will definitely refer this hotel to our friends and will stay in this hotel again when we come to Chiang Mai in the future.
