Logement propre, literie très confortable, personnel très aimable, eau potable à disposition Le restaurant de l'hôtel semble fermé depuis un moment donc pas de petit déjeuner proposé, on peut facilement en prendre un à l'extérieur donc cela ne pose pas de problème

บรรยากาศดีติดริมโขง อาหารเช้าก็สมราคาห้องพัก แต่ผลไม้มาเสริฟ์ช้ามาก สอบถามไป พนักงานบอกว่าต้องรอให้ผลไม้มาส่งจากตัวเมือง ไปทาน Breakfast ตอน 8.30 am ยังไม่มี ห้องอาหารปิด 10.30 am พนักงานสอบดึกบริการดี รอบอื่นเฉยๆ ห้องพักไม่มี รองเท้าแตะ ในห้องมีแค่ครีมอาบน้ำอย่างเดียว ห้องพักใหม่ สะอาดดี

We stayed at the Siam Triangle Hotel as part of our organized birding tour in northern Thailand. The hotel sits right beside the road and has a very spacious lobby. Our room was a standard king with river view and small balcony. The air was so thick with smoke however it was impossible to be outside without a mask. The poor air quality exists all over northern Thailand not just Chiang Saen but be aware it's a real problem in the winter months (Dec-March). Our room was adequately sized with modern bathroom and comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast was very nice with made to order eggs and coffee specialty drinks - a huge upgrade from the powdered stuff we were usually served. It's a nice hotel, - just unfortunate we couldn't be outside to enjoy the view.

We only stayed for 1 night before crossing over into Laos. The hotel totally surprised me. The staff were so helpful. The restaurant was really good and the views were stunning being right on the Mekong looking over into Laos. We stayed in a riverview room in the resort side of the hotel - the room was very nice, very clean and had everything we needed and the view from the balcony was amazing. I hope to come back to Chiang Khong and stay at the Teak Garden for a few days to really enjoy the hotel and the town.

Гостиница расположена в двух минутах от красивой набережной Меконга. Подъезд прямо с главной улицы, искать не нужно. Из минусов - парковка всего на три машино-места.

We were extremely disappointed with this hotel. The room was in poor condition with broken doors poorly patched up doors into the bathroom, safe not working and a bed that was as hard as lying on concrete. The view was great from the balcony across the Mekong but that was the only good thing about this hotel room. There were a few other guests staying there at the same time as us but they left early because the noise from functions in their function room downstairs was extreme, and went on night after night until the early hours, Then the participants were allowed to go into other areas of the lower floor to continue the drunken behaviors without any intervention from staff. The other privately booked patrons all left early because nothing was done to control these people. We were the only ones left. Breakfast was determined by the choices made by the function groups, and is not the buffet breakfast the claim to provide and is not the breakfast we paid for as they describe. If you really feel the need to stay at this place you would be better going for a short walk along the river and having breakfast elsewhere because the breakfasts offered were poor and most of it was cold. The hotel also is reported to have a restaurant. True it does but they will only offered us a choice of 3 dishes that is the same as the function is offering to their participants. We had our order taken from these 3 dish menu only to then sit there for nearly an hour waiting for the food. The order was taken by the restaurant manager, but he chose to go to another table and sit with the hotel manager and drink beer and eat a huge bowl of chips. We are not sure if the order was even given to the kitchen staff, and when we asked what was going on there was no explanation, we were just asked to wait another 15 minutes. When we complained again it was magically there in about 5 minutes. We found other places to eat after that. The pool and the free use of hotel bicycles were pluses. The pool was well shaded from the sun, was clean and refreshing. There are bike tracks right outside the hotel along the river which are flat and easy to ride. Very few of the staff had any English, which is fine considering its Thailand, but even when you translated to Thai for them they were not helpful (particularly the management). They were solely focused on the groups in the functions and we felt very much like inconveniences in their way. I normally don't give reviews for a bad hotel but this place was exceptionally uncomfortable and poorly managed. In short we would never stay at this hotel again and suggest anyone that is considering this hotel look at one of the many other hotels that are nearby, and be assured any on the riverfront the same views of the river, with often better rates for their rooms and restaurants where they value your patronage.

We came for the Elephants but were inspired by the environment, facilities, and staff. With a 5-night stay we were able to experience almost all the resort has to offer. Opting for the ”Explorer arrival” I worried it would feel ”over the top” but instead was a wonderful experience and really set the stage for a wonderful stay. We chose the resort for the elephant experiences and they certainly delivered! In the world we live in these elephants really are living their best lives. Numerous opportunities with direct interaction with these wonderful animals and a genuine education from the staff, guides, and mahouts. On top of this, breathtaking sights and sounds, meticulously maintained property, tasty food, and attentive staff. The Anantara Golden Triangle earned its high marks and price tag. Highlights were the quality of activities. Talented guides and personalized tours with small size (if not one-on-one). Quality of food was excellent and great service. Depending on plan, it may get a little confusing on what is and what is not included can be a touch confusing but manageable. The only comment we have is the main restaurant has the same menu for lunch as dinner which can risk being redundant. Additionally the second restaurant is not included in the plan and though they suggest there is additional charge, in reality it is full price with no ”adjustment” for dining plan. We still really enjoyed going to that restaurant and would do it again but.....could manage the value a little better. But these were very small comments in an otherwise lifetime experience for us. Thanks to the entire team from Bartenders to Mahouts! I hope we can visit again!
