Luna Domes

The most beautiful Scandinavian dome experience ever… Every single detail has been well thought of - QR code has been attached to all the features so you cannot get lost or go wrong! The dome, bedding, equipment is so clean and well Presented. We had the best experience ever that me and my partner forgot we were still in the uk. We used the bbq and hot tub which was the best experience ever as the night we arrived we had pure rain which actually made our experience ever more nice. The bed was soooo comfy against the fire log burning all night - what a dream! The owner Dan - thank you so much for Allowing me to change my date as this was one of the best experiences me and my partner had.

We had the most wonderful stay at Luna Domes, and I can’t recommend this place enough! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning surroundings and the unique, cosy atmosphere of the dome. Everything about the place feels like a perfect escape—private, peaceful, and simply beautiful. I also want to give a huge thank you to the lovely lady who works there went above and beyond during our stay. We couldn’t find a local shop for some essential supplies, and without hesitation, she kindly offered to go out of her way and brought us food for the evening, which was incredibly thoughtful and truly made our night. It’s rare to come across such caring and dedicated service, and she really made our stay extra special. The attention to detail at Luna Domes is outstanding, and it’s clear that the team really cares about ensuring their guests have a memorable and comfortable experience. We’ll definitely be back! I stayed here this weekend with my husband and 2.5 year old. When we arrived we thought it was a beautiful setting and lovely decor and set up. On arrival we noticed the mezzanine bed wasn’t made up, despite booking for 3 people. We called up to request the bed to be made up and was told this would be an extra charge as we had booked for 2 adults an infant, even though we had booked infant as my daughter is 2.5 and the child option was for 3-12 year olds so we were right to select this option, and the website stated the bed would be made up automatically if booking 3 or more people, it wasn’t specified that this didn’t include infants. Anyway, they sent some sheets for us to make the bed up ourselves. It was absolutely freezing in the room, we expected some cold as it was January but assumed the fire would be sufficient heating. The fire needed new logs adding almost every 30 mins to keep it burning, and even at its hottest the room was still freezing and we were so cold our entire stay, and even worse during the night as the fire went out more often due to us not being able to replace the logs regularly. I must have got up about 6 times during the night to relight the fire as I was shivering even though sleeping in thick layers with the provided extra blankets. The hot tub was also freezing cold despite being prelit on arrival. We spent 2 hours heating it on our first night just to make it bearable, and even then we had to get out as it was too cold. The next day I lit the fire at 6:30am and had tend to it every 30 mins so it didn’t go out, and it took til 12pm to reach an appropriate temperature. The ‘heated’ outdoor bathroom was also freezing cold and the heater did absolutely nothing. We were supposed to stay a second night but we ended up going home early as we had been so cold and couldn’t face another night there, and the hot tub was barely usable as to keep it warm enough we had to tend to it almost constantly, so there didn’t seem a point staying. We are so disappointed to have paid £600 to stay here for 2 nights but to spend most of the time attempting to keep fires burning and failing to keep warm enough. We came home absolutely stinking of fire, and during the night all I could taste was smoke. I understand Luna Domes can’t control weather, but if they choose to open their accommodation in the winter then for £600 I would expect them to provide adequate heating options The positives to add were that the beds were lovely and comfortable and the setting was beautiful and peaceful. I imagine visiting in a warmer season would be a lot better experience

A very comfortable and relaxing place for a getaway with your loved ones. It was a first time experience and I must say it was a wonderful, and even magical with a fireplace. The hottub was very relaxing with an amazing view. However, the bathroom was outdoor, and disappointed with the fact that slippers were not provided, and we weren't advised to bring ones.

Wow how amazing was our weekend in the Luna dome! Relaxed, chilled and had the best time! They are beautiful and in such a lovely location! Can’t thank you enough for making our 1st anniversary so relaxed! We will definitely be returning! Char & Jay xx

Wow! What an incredible luxurious way to celebrate my husband turning 40 with the whole family (2 children and a small dog) From the moment we pulled up to the moment we left we were all full of smiles 😊 I pre-ordered the meat and cheese bundle for our relaxing evening by the warm fire. We then woke up to a lovely pre-ordered salmon breakfast bundle all finely selected from local supplies. Even our dog was treated with a box of goodies which was a nice surprise! We honestly cannot fault this unique experience, modern decor, clean and echo friendly. We will definitely stay again.
