location was great , rooms are decent however service could be better considering it carrying the Westin/Marriott brand name. Not on par with other Marriott chains across the world

Our experience with Westin hotel was beyond exceed expectations. After the booking i requested for birthday occassion preparation to be done and they didnt.impose any extra charge. The room is very spacious whereby our toddler enjoyed the space and view so so much The baggage arrangement was also tip top! Lastly the breakfast is full of choices. Our stay with Westin is.extrra comfortable, service is so so accomodating and we love every part at Westin! Please keep up with such standard and we will.return definitely!

Very good location and the service is good

We loved this hotel. I’m a really pleased with the room which was well designed spacious with all the little touches that you’d expect from a high-end hotel. The swimming facilities were good and we enjoyed the makeshift beach bar on the top of the hotel - though a little bit scary as I’m not brilliant with heights.

I recently stayed at The Westin Chongqing, booked through Trip.com, and I had an exceptional experience. The hotel exceeded all my expectations in every way. The room was immaculate, modern, and offered breathtaking views of the city. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any request. The amenities, including the gym and pool, were top-notch, making my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel’s location was perfect for exploring Chongqing, with easy access to major attractions and restaurants. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The Westin Chongqing truly knows how to make their guests feel special, and booking through Trip.com was seamless and convenient. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Chongqing! Feel free to modify it to better suit your experience!

Maintenance is really important… Good services. Please make sure that smoking is prohibited in the sky lobby, it’s annoying to see people smoking like in a cigar room.

Good location with many malls nearby. One of the best Westin I've stayed. Room comes with a nice cityview as well. Nice ammenities and toiletries.

My stay at The Westin Chongqing was fantastic, and its prime location made it even better. The hotel is conveniently situated near many eateries and convenience stores, and it’s just a short walk to the famous Ba Yi Lu (Ba Yi Street) and Liberation Square. The breakfast spread was great, offering a good variety of delicious options. The reception staff was very thoughtful during check-in, even asking if I had any specific requirements for the room arrangement. As a light sleeper, I requested a quiet room, and they were kind enough to accommodate my request. Not only did they allow me to check in early (before 2 PM), but they also upgraded my room. The room was spacious and luxurious, and the bathroom was truly impressive. It featured a large bathtub and two sets of rain showers, which was an amazing touch. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at The Westin Chongqing, and I would definitely return for its excellent service and fantastic location.

My stay at the Westin Chongqing has been very nice, we have been upgraded to a room with river view, and the room was very spatious and beautiful. The service was very good, and luggage has been brought to the room. The highlight of this hotel is definitely the view you have from the lobby, bar, and breakfast buffet, which was very impressive.

I visited the hotel in 28-30 November 2024 with my big family and was mostly satisfied with the service, except for my experience in the breakfast area. We were unaware that wearing slippers in the breakfast area was not allowed due to safety reasons. Upon arrival, a staff member named 何欢 immediately pointed out the issue and informed us that children needed to change their slippers, without even greeting. She explained that it was dangerous for kids who might run around. However, she did not mention that adults were required to change as well. After changing my son’s shoes and returning to the breakfast area, she then told me that I, too, had to change my slippers. This miscommunication left me feeling very unhappy, as she clearly failed to provide clear instructions from the start. I believe proper preparation and communication about the rules would have prevented this unpleasant experience. To make matters worse, before we left, an elderly staff member accidentally broke a glass bowl while pushing a cart into the kitchen. The shattered glass splattered onto the floor and even reached our legs. What disappointed me further was that the staff did not immediately apologize but repeatedly said "没关系, 没关系" (“It’s okay, it’s okay”) in Mandarin. This incident truly ruined the entire breakfast experience, even though other aspects of our stay were good. That said, I would like to commend two staff members, 熊真琳 and Tony Chen, for their professionalism and excellent handling of the situation. They listened attentively to my concerns and addressed the issue in a respectful and considerate manner. I am grateful for their pre packed breakfast before leaving to the airport at 6am. Their efforts were greatly appreciated. I sincerely hope the hotel provides better training for its staff, especially in problem-solving, critical thinking, and effective communication. It is crucial to handle such situations promptly and appropriately to ensure a better experience for guests in the future. Thank you. Bev
