Great location as walking distance to city & parks. Basic apartment, but had everything you relly needed, so no complaints. Awesome to have your own washing machine. Close to some great cafe's so morning coffee.

These are really top notch apartments. There is ,Dishwasher,microwave,electric blanket,full oven,Hoover,television,air on,heating,Cd player. Not much more to say really,we were only here for 1 night so could not make much use of most of it Recommended.

An absolute mistake booking into these apartments. From the outside it looks new and modern but inside the apartment was a different story. We had asked for a roll away bed (and extra $30 a night on top of the $150 p/n) which wasn't there. When we called housekeeping she wheeled it in - threw the bedding on the floor and left (didn't make it up). The 'lounge' was so small we had to move the coffee table and an arm chair outside to fit the bed in! The place was filty and smelt musty. The shower was covered in mould and the exaust fan was putrid. The curtains were also covered in mould and the kitchen cupboards were streaky with filth. Paint was peeling off all through the apartment and the dryer didn't work unless you held it shut! Everything in the apartment was dated and dirty. Energy saving lights didn't help the already dark and dingy apartment. We were woken up by the cleaners moving the mini bins to the road right outside our window at 10PM and then again the next morning at 6.30AM! Plumbing noise from upstairs apartment was very noisy also. The garden outside was dead and had a pot plant consisting of dead leaves?! The gate out to the road was locked (no exit in case of an emergency or fire) which was a worry. Would never go back to these apartments - centrally located but absolutely nothing around due to the earthquakes. Demolition noise (I realise this is unavoidable during the rebuild) was fairly noisy so be aware of this when thinking to book. Never again - am so surprised at the good reviews! We were in apartment 1C - right in the corner.

From the outside it looks ok but that’s where it stops this Appartnent I’m in E1 has not had any work done to it in a long time. Cracks in the walls Moult in the shower ironing board stained dehumidifier in the other room as it’s damp and the whole unit stunk of dampness when I Checked in. This is appalling this place is so needing a make over. And for 396 for two nights it’s a rip off. About the only good things car parking on site and the carpets in responsible condition.

I am renting my third apartment in West Fitzroy Apartments with the current one long-term. Anneliese the property manager with Christchurch Accommodation has been incredibly helpful with every move. I rent unfurnished. With a good sized balcony, secure parking, on-site building manager and on most week days, manned reception, this is the perfect place to stay in central Christchurch. Peter the Building Manager and Jackson the Reservations Manager are very helpful and can point you in the right direction for the bars, cafes and restaurants that are within a 10 minute walk. The enormous Hagley Park and Botanical Gardens are 5 minutes away. The Te Pai Convention Centre is a 5 minute walk with a good pub right next door on Columbo Street, The Victoria.

Simply amazing. What an apartment. Everything you need and more. Great location. Super modern and super comfortable. Only small niggle is if you are driving you have to get out and see reception while holding up other residents at the gate. The guy on reception was particularly engaging but that didnt matter. Amazing stay. Highly recommended.

We had a Superior Studio apartment. While I guess it was an apartment, it was really the size of a standard studio room in a hotel, with a small kitchenette included. There was nothing wrong with the apartment, but once you opened your suitcases it was a bit cramped. The TV is on a TV stand and the kitchen table, with one chair, was cramped into a corner. A simple act of mounting the TV on the wall would have given much more usable space. The apartment was well maintained and looked reasonably new with ample parking for cars with designated spots in the car park behind the building. We were running late and reception rang us to provide us with a code for the lock box which worked perfectly. An email was also sent, but if I had not answered the phone because I was driving, I would never have gotten the email as I had no internet. Reception advised us that there was a night manager and he would have been able to let us in, so no real problem. Access from the carpark could be challenging with suitcases as depending on which floor you park and which floor your room is on, you may have to negotiate some stairs to get to the floor/lift. Located not far from the CBD and plenty of places to eat other than the size of the room this place was perfect.

Absolutely superb apartment within walking distance to Te Pae and the city centre. Easy walk to Riverside Market, and all the cafes and restaurants. Our apartment was spacious and spotless; it felt like new. Bed was super comfortable and we had a lovely deck overlooking the heritage trams trundling past, and beyond to Cranmer Square park. So pretty. Peter is the consummate hospitality host; a smile and a friendly greeting. There's a complimentary carpark onsite. We will return - Highly recommend.
