The Barrel Store Cirencester

Staff were very friendly and helpful and check-in and check-out was seamless.Suited our family of 7 with teens with 2 units with en-suite for one night stay. Parking at the Beeches Carpark and had the best ever smash burgers at SWE (Somewhere Else), very reasonably priced!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at The Barrel Store! From the moment we arrived, the team was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which set the tone for a great experience. Our visit was for a work event, and the unique opportunity to stay in a Passivhaus was a key reason for our choice. It did not disappoint! The accommodation was modern, comfortable, and environmentally conscious—exactly what we were hoping for. One of our team members cooked dinner for all 17 of us, and we were thoroughly impressed with the kitchen facilities. It was well-equipped and spacious enough to handle catering for a large group, which was a huge plus. I highly recommend The Barrel Store for both group stays and eco-conscious travelers. It’s a perfect blend of sustainability and comfort, right in the heart of Cirencester. We’re already looking forward to returning!

Stay was ok. Friendly reception. Very clean. Kitchen looked good (didn't use it). Very quiet. The room was tiny - double-bed filled the whole room, limited space for luggage, no bedside lamp and window not one that opens. Good shower. Really hard to find the entrance! Is off the Brewery car park rather than main road. Parking is close by, free 6pm-8am, and cheap otherwise.

We found the hostel staff helpful and friendly, and they had organised the rooms so that it suited us well as a family. The private rooms, and shared kitchen facilities were very clean and had everything we needed. There were even some games and puzzles available to entertain. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Clean, tidy spacious and friendly stay easy to book in and access the YH. Comfy bed with plenty of space in the room to move around and store all my essentials. Excellent shower and washbasin facilities. Self catering equipment utensils etc plenty of options

Really nice hosyel in Cirencester, great value for money. You have from individual rooms with private bathroom, to double rooms with bathroom or shared. I would highly recommend it. There's a kitchen which you can use to cook your own meals. Easy check out. The only bad thing is the fact that check out is at 10-10:30, where it's usually 11h.
