Hotel terbaik di Culburra Beach

We spent 1 night here as a stopover whilst driving the coastal route down to Melbourne. As we pulled up in our car, we were greeted by the owner and shown where to park in the designated spot. Out room was beautiful. Very clean and comfortable with a beach vibe. Shops within walking distance and a lovely restaurant servicing delicious food lunch and evening. A very special extra was a bottle of fizz, chocolates and a candle to celebrate our honeymoon. Thankyou very much for your kind hospitality.

Nice place easy check in, rooms very clean Ni e comfortable bed, modern TV and coffee, tea and microwave , staff friendly. Nice places to eat next door best fish and chips ever, great little pub up the road with good food and a short drive to most places of interest

We booked the “Walk, wine and stay” package in a medium size room. We arrived early and was quickly checked into our room as it was ready by the friendly lady on reception. We stayed in the servants quarters 27 which was spacious and comfortable. The building is 200 years old and obviously restored to keep its charm. The kitchenette had everything we needed to have basic meals with a microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. Our tour around the estate was with Bruno, who has worked at the estate for a long time. He was very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting stories as we wandered the historic buildings and checked out some convict artifacts. Our walk ended with a wine tasting and cheeseboard. The tasting was not rushed and the cheeseboard was very generous and delicious!!! After the tasting we selected our bottle of wine to take back to our room to enjoy at our leisure. Of course we also purchased plenty to take home. Sadly the on site restaurant is not operating through the week (post Covid) so we had to venture out for dinner. Lots of options within a short drive. We decided upon Chinese but it is take away only (post Covid) so we grabbed some drinks and dessert before heading back to our accommodation. The estate is 200 years old and full of history…. it is so much more than a winery. The old buildings give the accommodation lots of charm and character, although (clearly from other reviews) some people may just consider it old and rundown…. the history and original buildings are magnificent, internally the rooms are completely refurbished with comfortable amenities. Our room had 2 two seater lounges, dining table and 4 chairs, tv, basic kitchenette, outdoor table/chairs, queen bed with bathroom that had a good sized shower with plenty of hot water. The highlight of our stay was the tour, it made our stay!! Learning about the convict settlement and history definitely added to the atmosphere and charm of Coolangatta Estate. All in all a really lovely stay and we would definitely stay again.

This was a perfect romantic weekend away, everything was very well thought of. It was a quiet & really relaxing atmosphere in the middle of the forest, not many people around and we were able to fully disconnect. We arrived around 2pm and there was afternoon tea ready for us to enjoy (cakes& tea) which was carefully curated. Dinner & breakfast was included and the food was in both occasion delicious and very high quality. They even packed us a lunch to take with us on our last day which was made with love once again. All staff were lovely too. Would highly recommend!!!

This Resort is great, attached as it is to Worrigee Links Golf Coursenand Sports Club. Room spacious and clean, bed comfy, amenities very good. Only thing I found interesting, they have a large sliding door which opens onto the Golf Course, but no sliding wire door to keep creepy crawlies out, so door stays shut! Easy walk to the Sports Club for a drink and a top meal. Staff in both places very good, but clearing away of empty plates after meal very poor. Breakfast in the room at Springs was excellent, arrived hot and eggs done perfectly. Would go back here again.

Very interesting place with many facilities. Stunning location

A review of our disappointing visit to the Husky Hotel on Sunday. We had friends from Sydney visit for a long weekend. We went to the Husky Hotel for lunch and it is normally a wonderful atmosphere and a great afternoon sitting around with friends and family. The food was as usual fantastic and very tasty, thank you. One of our issues is the wine prices. A bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, normally $16.99 at liquor outlets (not pubs) was priced at $55. Can anyone explain why the Husky Hotel is charging more than three times the average price? PRICE GOUGING or is it the HUSKY factor? Our next issue is the Sunday surcharge of 10% on everything! This is not advertised or brought to anyone's attention. It was only that our guests looked at their receipt after paying the exorbitant price for the wine and saw the applied surcharge. Again is this the HUSKY factor or gouging the visitors & locals who come for lunch and drink on a Sunday. We will not be recommending the Hotel to our friends or taking them to the Hotel on a Sunday again. There are so many other local restaurants that will get our money that do not apply a surcharge or leave customers feeling ripped off.

Friendly Staff but unfortunately the room was small, over priced. Doors need fixing. Weatherproof sealing. Our door and door next door rattled all night in the wind. Nothing was done after reporting. We were on the upper level. Extra $50 for view that did not show much of a view at all, ridiculous. Only serviced the room after requesting. We were there 4 nights. No lighting over bench above TV.
