Great location helpful staff. Room was very clean all the appliances worked. 1 small issue was the dryer was very loud sounds like there’s something wrong with it or may not be mounted properly. Other than that it was a good experience and will definitely stay again

We spent 4 nights at the Kingsford Brisbane Airport Hotel. I cannot speak highly enough of the service we received. Everyone at the hotel made us feel very welcome. They lent us a couple of Go cards which we could top up round the corner. The room was spacious and we did not feel cramped having a separate lounge area to the beds and bathroom. The hotel was quiet in spite of the busy road outside. Breakfast had an adequate selection of dishes which suits someone who might want eggs benedict or just a muffin for breakfast. The hotel is a block along from the Ferry for a 50minute ride to Brisbane CBD also a bus stop if one wants to get there faster. There are a good selection of restaurants close by in two directions. We felt very well looked after and all the staff looked after us very well. I would recommend this hotel especially if you are planning to stay for a few nights and want to be really comfortable.

We have been regular and loyal guests at this motel for a number of years now and we don’t expect everything to go right all the time but recently everything has gone very wrong. Last time we stayed there was a terrible odour in our room and none of the lamps worked because obviously the room hadn’t been checked for these issues. We reported this to Wayne the manager when we were checking out and he told us he was happy to take that information and fix the problem. This time we checked in and our toilet didn’t flush. Wayne came to the room with a bucket of water and told us just to flush it using that. We said we weren’t happy with this level of accommodation and we would like a change of room or compensation for the inconvenience. He was clearly shocked by our response and told us they were fully booked and the owner would have to be consulted about any compensation and it was highly unlikely. Needless to say we have never heard from an owner. Or any more from Wayne about our ruined night’s stay. We had pre booked several nights of future accommodation and we have now cancelled all our forward bookings and will never return. What was once a fabulous place to stay is now a trap for unsuspecting victims who will pay for any level of service this mob care to offer. Beware when booking this place, your room could have hidden surprises (like a non functioning toilet) and you will pay full price regardless.

The place has a homely cozy feel to it with the room having the amenities you would be looking for like the tall dining table area that has the tea, coffee and kettle with the microwave. I quite liked the clean bed linen and the fluffy pillows. The bathroom is compact as it must be. The manager to the place Ms Lin, was very friendly and very helpful with all sorts of information you may want related to Brisbane. Riverview Motel is conveniently located close to the river side which is beautiful for a lovely morning or evening stroll. Also just twenty minutes away from the Central Business District in Brisbane not mention quite a few dining options I less than ten minutes of a walk from Riverview Motel.

This is a great little motel! Extremely clean and the friendliest staff I have ever come across. It was a pleasure staying there. The front desk was informative, kind, and courteous. She knew the area and even walked outside with us to explain.

Location is perfect close to new cruise port and airport with lots of surrounding cafes cinema and shops and a short five minute walk to river ferry for trips to Brisbane South bank and City shops Apartments are spotless and good value for money Manager Tracy is a great asset and makes it a pleasure to stay with her help and knowledge What a difference it makes when you find such a nice combination of great management, location and comfort Well done Tracy

I was having a late check in, confirming this 2 days prior to overnight stay, and was told by receptionist (who answered the phone in that morning) that I would receive a text/email with details of how to get into the hotel. However this never occurred, and the day of arrival I rang 8 times during office hours (2.30-5pm) to get instructions, all of which were never answered. And on ringing Qantas hotel assistance, I was on hold for 42 mins to them as they also, could not get any reply to phone calls etc to the hotel reception, again all during afternoon office hours before 5pm. Ringing after 5pm got through to the afterhours contact people who told me there was a phone at the hotel door to ring them and they would give me the details on arrival. Which was exactly all that was needed. The information given by the receptionist originally was of no help, and the reception phone not being answered most of the afternoon was extremely poor. The phone in my room was completely dead and not working when I went to book a taxi back to the airport. The aircon was on full bore and couldnt be turned off. But the duvet was thick and warm which at least made it warm enough to sleep. The room was tidy and clean, but given the very poor reception assistance and communication (and not actually answering their phones during the afternoon) I would certainly not recommend this hotel unless you actually arrive during daytime hours when hopefully there MAY be a staff member who could assist you. Either that or wait for the afterhours contracted people who were so much more helpful.

Close to the airport and wonderful for an early morning flight, the hosts are very lovely and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, everything was in working order. To be honest the air con was great on a hot day, and close to some to shops.

Never having been to Queensland before other than a stop off at the airport my Christmas present to my wife was a four night stay along the Brisbane River at The View. Let's get things straight up front, when hotels advertise they are in Brisbane check exactly where. Not even several taxi drivers navigation could find The View in Brisbane, instead it is in Hamilton. I think this is a valuable lesson anytime when booking anywhere as I suspect The View would not be alone in doing this. The View is around ten minutes, maybe a little more outside of Brisbane depending on traffic. The hotel is relatively modern though showing some style age with decor. The reception by the concierge and staff throughout our stay was very welcoming and helpful. The welcome drink voucher, a pizza voucher and coffee vouchers for our time there was a very nice feature though we forgot to use some. The a-la-carte breakfast was second to none along with the dinner quality of the restaurant. The dinner menu could do with a few simple items. There is a very quaint lounge area between the dining room and concierge that is relaxing to chill thinking about nothing, checking phone messages, reading a magazine and so on. The only change I would make is to replace some of the almost ground level chairs to a few a little higher. Unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to try the bar area because we were exhausted from travelling each day. The room was cleaned every day along with a change of sheets, the bed was very comfortable and the sheets crisp. There was a large screen television in our room however the channel selection was a little confusing and sometimes we could find Netfilx on the program menu and other times not. The pool area looks very inviting on line and whilst the physical attributes are correct it is not as inviting as the displayed images. It just requires some decor and the lighting effects shown in the promotional material. Car parking had ample space. Would I stay there again? I may try elsewhere next time for two reasons: Firstly to stay on the river in Brisbane itself within walking distance of either the CBD or Southpoint. Secondly the piped music throughout The View must be free to air, it is very annoying music, and often a tehno kind of beat that is played over and over again that made us eat out more often than not. If on business however The View is situated half way between Brisbane CBD and the airport though not within walking distance of anywhere significant. The first day there we spent close to $100 on three or four taxi's travelling within fifteen minutes of Brisbane CBD which prompted us for the next four days to hire a car. This gave us the independence that allowed us to see the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast at a far cheaper rate than taxi's. I would definitely recommend The View because of the staff, a-la-carte breakfast, meal quality, cleanliness and vouchers upon arrival. It has a nice ambience and our fifth floor room with a one hund
