Hotel terbaik di Rio De Janeiro

Hotel bem localizado na região Central do Rio. Bem na rua da Escadaria Selaron. Para quem precisar, da para ir andando até o consulado Americano. O recepcionista Guilherme é muito educado e gentil, parabéns! O quarto estava limpo e cheiroso. Camas boas, chuveiro excelente, tinha até secador de cabelo. Café da manhã simples, mas atendeu as nossas necessidades. Deixo apenas como observação para melhoria: a TV do quarto estava quebrada (como nossa estadia foi pequena e não fazemos questão nós não falamos com o hotel a respeito, mas acho importante já que era um dos itens oferecidos na diária). E outro ponto é que apesar da limpeza, tinha baratinhas nos móveis do banheiro, talvez por serem um pouco antigo. No geral valeu o custo beneficio.

Me and my wife visited Rio between Jan 20th and Feb 10th 2023. We were lucky to get a very good deal for our stay at Residence Inn by Marriot and flights from and to Toronto, Ontario. Our small apartment at the hotel: - clean and quiet (facing the huge empty parking lot) - has its own mini kitchen- fridge, dishwasher, dishes, cutlery, etc. You could prepare quick supper or some appetizers for your wine;. - has a filter coffee maker plus coffee and tea every day - TV with many channels (most of them in Portuguese;/) Speaking about wine: we didn't find any good local wine in the grossery stores. Mostly import from Argentina and Uruguay. The imported alcohol is very expensive. Be prepared to pay for it as much as you pay in Canada. Pool: narrow and long (shallow, though). Just a few umbrellas with tables and chairs around, so you better go there earlier to get one. Gym: nice with enough machines and weights Staff: Very nice people in general, the guys from the reception desk were trying to be very helpful Restaurant: We had breakfast included in our deal. Very pleasantly surprised. Fresh food every day. Great variety. I am not picky at all, but the food quality was great. Amazing coffee! (I hope you are a coffee lover:) Delicious pastries. Restaurant staff: I can't stress enough how good and polite these people were. Every morning they would stop by the table to say hello, to ask how we were. The conversation usually goes in mixed English-Spanish-Portuguese language. Hosanna , at the omelette station spoke very good English. With Carlos (very nice and communicative guy) we had some very funny conversations. I definitely need to mention also Geovan, Hugh, Bruna. The pastry cheff Danielle was checking the pastry station every 5 minutes to see if everything was in order. By coincidence my BDay was the last week of our stay. These guys surprised me with a small cake and sang Happy Birthday in Portuguese for me. We took a couple of pictures. Very heart touching! I am possibly missing to mention some other names, but all of them were great. We would like to thank everybody again. They made us feel welcome!! A couple of remarks: Rio beaches: If you are aiming to spend your time on the beach, this hotel probably isn't for you. It is relatively far from the beach. The closest one was Barra da Tijuca beach. To get there you will need to take BRT bus #50 to Alvorada Station ( approx. 20 min.) and from there another 8-10 min bus ride. Almost the same if you take taxi. The BRT bus has the advantage to travel in its own lanes and doesn't mix with the traffic. However, we highly recommend the Barra da Tijuca beach. Much longer, much wider and much cleaner compared to Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. Not to mention much less vendor guys selling everything, walking around and shouting. Rio people: Friendly and polite. The women are dressed in sexy tight clothes, despite the heat. Be aware: going topless on the beach isn't acceptable, despite the fact most

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The floor is disgusting, you can’t take off your shoes. There was a lot of hair trapped in the shower plughole and the bathroom stinks. The walls and the door are covered in mould. I arrived late at night so couldn’t go somewhere else, unfortunately. Now I’m writing this review hoping the patchy internet will work. Tomorrow I’ll find another place. I hope I can get my money back.

Hotel para ficar dois dias no máximo! Atende razoavelmente para poucos dias. Café da manhã bem precário, se você fica poucos dias não percebe a falta de variedade, mas o pior é que a impressão que tive foi que o pão parecia sempre velho, comprado no dia anterior e os docinhos (que também são sempre os mesmos) tinham gosto de passado… sempre velhos.. o suco com gosto de suco de pozinho. Quarto ok, grande e espaçoso. Confortável. Porém as paredes parecem de papel, ouvia a conversa do quarto de cima. A tv ligada do vizinho do lado… tenso! O banheiro bem grande, mas o sistema da água meio esquisito, demora para esquentar, e as vezes você tá tomando banho e do nada a água muda de temperatura para muito quente ou fria. Atendimento prestativo, mas por um erro de identificação da minha mala que deixei por conta do horário de checkin quase entregaram a minha mala para outra pessoa. Nem sempre muito simpático. Não voltaria.

Check in rápido e a atendente Brenda foi super solicita e atenciosa conseguindo um quarto adaptado às necessidades da minha mãe. Quarto extremamente confortável, camas grandes e excelente chuveiro. Otimo café da manhã porém com poucos funcionários para fazer a reposição de forma adequada. A disposição das mesas do salão do café tb poderia melhorar, assim como a espera pela reposição das coisas que foram consumidas. Boa piscina porém com área em volta pequena e com poucas espreguiçadeiras. Um pouco distante da praia e dos shoppings em relação aos hotéis de praia, obviamente. Poucos min de carro do Parque Olímpico e ao lado do Rio Centro. Elevador tb um pouco demorado. Estacionamento gratuito.

My husband and I booked our hotel accommodations for carnival in February and found out last week that carnival was postponed until April, the minute we found out we started looking for new accommodation because the Hilton we had booked was sold out for April. I found this hotel on *********** and booked it right away. The day after my reservation was confirmed I got a message that my credit card was not going through. I uploaded a different credit card in their system even though I knew nothing was wrong with my credit card. I wasn’t even sure why they were trying to charge my card when my reservation says, “nothing is due now, pay at the property”. Anyway I still didn’t care if they charge it before hand. Today I got another message saying that my reservation was cancelled for invalid credit card. That is absolutely false, each of my husband and I credit cards are over $20K limits, the hotel total was $488 for the 7 nights, a really cheap rate we thought but was happy we booked before the price went up to over $1100. I believe these people cancel our reservation because they believe we got the rate too cheap. That was the only way to get rid of us so that they can sell that room for the higher rate. I called the property today to find out why they would cancel my reservation. The girl I spoke to was very dismissive and rude, telling me I should find another hotel, I ask for a Manager and she told me there wasn’t any managers available and hung up on me. My husband and I have traveled extensively over the last two years and have never had an issue with credit cards. We visited Brazil in June 2021 and stayed at the Hilton Copacabana as we are Hilton diamond members and never had an issue. This little piss poor property is going to cancel my reservation because they didn’t want to honor the low rate they had on ***********. They should be removed from being able to have anyone booked them through ***********. I will be very careful what hotels I book on *********** from now on. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS PROPERTY. THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE RUDE AND THEY ARE VERY SHADY. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Ao chegar ao hotel já fui surpreendido com a cobrança adicional de 69 reais, que não constava na reserva, me senti enganado pelo site que me fez a venda. Segundo a atendente a reserva foi repassada para a decolar, por isso teria essa taxa ( havia feito a compra pela trip). Essa taxa adicional tornou o preço final bem mais salgado, pesquisando constatei que seria possível ficar em um hotel bem melhor por esses preço. Quanto ao hotel, o atendimento foi bom, principalmente o rapaz do bar da piscina. A vista é muito linda ( a melhor coisa do hotel). A piscina é uma banheira, inclusive ao fim do dia e na manhã seguinte estava muito suja, com uma crosta de e óleo e protetor solar sobre a água, o que tornava impossível entrar. O café da manhã bem simples, num espaço bem pequeno, aliás tudo no hotel é bem pequeno. Corredores estreitos, elevador pequeno, o quarto pequeno e o banheiro micro. Podíamos ouvir o barulho do chuveiro e descarga do andar de cima. De uma forma geral a experiência com o hotel não foi a expectativa, principalmente pelo preço e pelo o que oferta.
