Stayed at the resort for a week, the staff is so friendly in all areas of the resort. The Condo type rooms in the One Particular Harbor building are perfect for families. The pool includes slides and a lazy river. For $60 a day per person you can get access to the club lounge which has breakfast, light lunch/snack items and hors d'oeuvres late afternoon. A decent bar to make your own drinks as well. Had at least one meal in each restaurant, brunch in JWB on Sunday was our favorite but all are good.

Due to the fact that we travel a lot, we have a lot of experience in terms of hotels and services. The Goldwynn Hotel is a new, clean and smelling property. The rooms are equipped with a kitchenette which is absolutely a plus. The beach is tiny but the view is picturesque. In my opinion obnoxiously expensive for the quality of service it offers. The hotel has one beach/pool bar and one restaurant where you eat every meal from breakfast to dinner. You pay once for each meal, the hotel has no offer for its guests or families. When ordering shakshuka, I asked if there was an option to make it less spicy, I received the answer that there was no such option - the level of spiciness was so high that I didn't finish the portion. For dinner we opted for lobster - the display on the ice showcase seemed promising - we got a large portion of noodles and meat as much as for the medicine - all the dignity of the dish disappeared! In addition, we had the impression that it was completely out of season, there were no attractions on the hotel grounds regardless of the time of day (the period between Christmas and New Year) for children and adults - you can swim on the sup or boat but you have to pay extra. One day we were invited to a building located in the garden of the hotel for a meeting. It was supposed to be a club for people who like to travel at a high level - to be honest, their offer sounded like a financial pyramid.I was very surprised that a hotel at this level does not chastise its guests from such offers - one may have mixed feelings. We spent 5 nights and for another 5 nights we moved to a famous hotel and aquapark. I will say frankly there is no comparison! The offer of attractions , culinary arts and experiences was amazing. I would only add that the cost of the other was 2 times less than Goldwynn - in total I visited about 40 hotels. It was the first time I experienced such a huge disappointment.

We used to come with my family growing up and we haven’t been in nine years since my mom passed. We’ve always loved staying at Sandy ports when I got to go back with my sister and bring back so many memories. The resort is amazing and definitely our favorite and all of Bahamas. A lot of other resorts are hectic and crazy, but Sandy port is amazing. It seems so excluded from the rest of the island but also so close to everything. I definitely recommend staying here.

Тихий район. До магазинов и кафе быстрого обслуживания 10-15 минут пешком. Гораздо удобнее будет для проживания, если у вас в наличии будет арендованный автомобиль. Для него найдется много парковочного места прямо перед домом.
Большая ванная комната с душем и умывальником. Кухня оборудована, есть и кастрюли со сковородками и капсульная кофемашина, которую можно использовать и для заваривания чая в пакетиках. Кофе, чай, средство для мытья посуды и рук - все тоже есть в наличии. Безупречная чистота везде внутри дома. На заднем дворе есть небольшая зеленая лужайка, но она не оборудована для отдыха.
Из неожиданного - в доме нет стола для приема пиши, но есть два складных столика для мобильного компьютера, которые можно приспособить под обеденные столики. Места в гостиной очень мало и чтобы ничего не опрокинуть, вам придется быть аккуратным.
Кровать нуждается в ремонте или замене. Матрас, хотя и узковат для двоих взрослых людей средней комплекции - хорошего качества. Но вот сама рама кровати давно нуждается в замене или ремонте.
Хозяйка заблаговременно найдет вас по телефону, оставит нужные и понятные инструкции, как найти и попасть в дом. А также организует встречу и проводы, если надо.
И хотя бегло и невнимательно почитав отзывы, мы и ошиблись выбором района и апартаментов, хотели более оживленное место и более просторные условия внутри, но все неудобства компенсировались заботой о нашем комфорте!
Итог. Жилье больше подойдет для студентов или одиноких путешественников с арендованным автомобилем в распоряжении, привыкшим к американскому образу жизни. Выдающееся гостеприимство станет прекрасным бонусом!

The pool includes slides and a lazy river. For $60 a day per person you can get access to the club lounge which has breakfast, light lunch/snack items and hors d'oeuvres late afternoon. A decent bar to make your own drinks as well. Had at least one meal in each restaurant, brunch in JWB on Sunday was our favorite but all are good.

She responded to questions quickly which was impressive as we made initial inquiries four time zones away. While there she also responded to messages quickly. The apartment had everything we needed including a full-sized refrigerator, gas stove, and a microwave. We even had a private outdoor area. We were there comfortably for a week. The location was very nice as well. We didn't have to drive far to have all of our needs met. What was interesting is that by contacting her directly we got a better price than going through typical travel search engines.

OOngJasmineThe Holiday Inn Express is perfect for people who want a clean and comfortable accommodation without staying at an ”all-inclusive” resort. The Bahamian culture and the Nassau area are so beautiful, and it would be a shame to lock yourself into a sealed resort where you don't really interact with locals. Service here was fantastic -- my air conditioner was misbehaving a bit on the first day, and I asked someone to come take a look, and instead they upgraded me to a larger room to make sure they had time to look at the a/c and that I didn't spend a moment being uncomfortable, which was above and beyond my expectations. They have a really tasty hot breakfast, and their snack selection, available 24 hours a day to be picked up at reception and billed to your room, is broad and includes even full microwave meals (for when you're hungry at 3am on an island with very to no overnight food places available). The prices are very, very reasonable, as well -- after snacking pretty consistently throughout my seven-day stay, I expected my snack and beer bill to get a little crazy, but it turned out to be about $20 after I ate and drank well over $20 worth of stuff. It's easy to walk to downtown and shop, book tours, etc. from here, and the beach is right across the street. The Fish Fry at Arawak Cay is a 5-10 minute walk away as well. Most of what I wanted to see and do was an easy commute on foot, and cabs to and from the hotel were reasonably priced, when I was way too tired. Plus, the #10 city bus runs right past it. I would definitely recommend this place to travelers who are pretty independent in a new location, but also like comfort and great service. It was the perfect balance for me.
