Building is rather new but there is no lift in the building and our room is on the 3rd floor. Our room has no electricity and they tried to fix it up without success. We were transferred to another building and had to go up 3 floors again. They have no power sockets at the bedside. Breakfast is mainly vegetables. Not recommended for old person.

The Tsang Kuo Resort is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Tsang Kuo Resort offers a pleasant stay in Yilan for those traveling for business or leisure. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Xinma Train Station located approximately 12km away and Taipei Songshan Airport roughly 60km away. This hotel is located near many of Yilan's attractions including OMG Framing Art Museum, Luodong Forestry Culture Park and Center for Traditional Arts. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service.

EEvelyn912很棒的一次住宿體驗！乾淨、房間設計有巧思，東西都能有地方擺、浴室空間大，浴缸大到可躺二個成人，熱水是温泉、冷水是自來水、櫃台人員都非常親切！訂的是無附早餐的專案，但仍是有附簡單餐點，雖說簡單，也有吐司飲料地瓜水果，真是驚喜！

PPengguna TetamuYu Peng Villa was our first and BEST accommodation on this Yilan-Taroko-SML-Alishan road trip. We arrived much later than expected and were relieved that our message to Trip.com got through to the guesthouse. When we drove up to the place (an easy find with GPS), a member of the staff walked up to our car and guided us to the drop off point.
I love the designer vibes of the property which is well maintained with a sizeable garden and plenty of flowers in bloom. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The showers worked and there was hot water. The western-style breakfast was generous in portion and delicious.
Best of all was the hospitality extended to us. It was the only place where we felt truly welcomed on this 8-day trip. The staff here chatted with us, gave advice on places of interest and sent us off with fruit from the orchard. After the great experience here, all the other places we stayed at pale drastically in comparison.
If you're planning to visit the Kavalan Distillery, this place is a great stayover option! Truly a slice of paradise.

LLirongThe minsu was clean and comfy. The decor was on point with Pokémon which was why I booked the room in the first place. The living areas is shared with some toys to occupy the kiddos during their meals.
Take note that location is a bit isolated so you definitely need a car to reach. Otherwise the distance from minsu to all major attractions in yilan takes about 20-30mins which is reasonable.
Can’t rate much for services as it’s mainly self service. The owner was kind enough to come by and ensure we are settled down when we first arrive. There are no breakfast venues nearby so you gotta just order from the owner. It’s local breakfast so food is not too bad!

PPengguna Tanpa NamaFirst of all, this is a very old hotel that has seen truly better days. While maintained well, it has retained it's original furnishings and decor from the 1980s and 1990s. Staying here reminded me of my childhood travelling with my family in the 80s. The actual room does not look anything like the ones shown on the website. The hard floors mean you should wear their slippers or bring your own room slippers. The hot spring water advertised is just hot spring water pipes that go into your bathtub. There is a step that emulates hot spa step in the bathtub.
The breakfast was good with nice braised meat and eggs that you can put over your rice or porridge. There's also hot soy milk. But no hot tea, only coffee. The staff look tired but hard working.
There was a grumpy older lady receiptionist when we checked in and she was pretty rough in the check in process. E.g. ”if you don't put a number here, and you leave things in the hotel, we'll just throw them away! Just to tell you first.”
Room was quite small or cosy, depending on your perspective. The only thing new was the air-conditioner. The TV set had all the settings for channels but none worked. Internet wifi was not quite working too.

PPizza-boyI recently stayed at a charming bed and breakfast that exceeded all my expectations. The highlight was definitely the playful slide right in our bedroom—what a fun and unexpected touch! The kids had a blast and made our stay feel even more special.
Outside, the play pool was a perfect spot to relax and unwind. We enjoyed splashing around and lounging in the sun. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting, making it an ideal place to kick back after a day of exploring.
One of the best parts of our stay was the delicious ********* food served at the B&B. Each meal was bursting with flavor, showcasing authentic dishes that satisfied our cravings. I highly recommend trying their rice rolls and congee —they were simply delightful!
Overall, this bed and breakfast offers a wonderful blend of fun activities and fantastic food. Whether you're visiting with family or looking for a unique getaway, I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be back for more sliding and savoring!

AAngelineThe hotel is conveniently located, within walking distance to Luodong night market. There is a 7-11 shop opposite the hotel. You can get your daily necessities or a coffee boost or light snacks there easily. However, the hotel looks outdated and run down and cleanliness is an issue. Saw many stains here and there in bathtub and on hotel room flooring. I even saw a cockroach early in the morning near my door, was shocked! The morning breakfast started at 7am but when I reached at 7.10am, it was already full and there was a long queue waiting outside. In the end, we decided to give the hotel breakfast a miss and went to the nearby Mcdonald for breakfast instead! What a waste though! Wouldn't be going back again the next time!

EEric Shen TWThe location is nearby the city centre. Before our arrival, the manager kindly reminded us by message and call. Once approached, just give her a call and feel relaxed. The manager gave a wonderful room tour and informed us well. The info and reminders in the living room also reflect the kindness of the local. Some impressions of the room. Firstly, the room has a duplex apartment, each with ta duo bed. Secondly the hot-spring is mild; the bath facility is wonderful; especially, the floor is stone material, not only with good anti-slippery but also creating a natural environment. We got a nice hot spring bath experience. Thirdly, the theme of the room is Crayon Shin-chan, which happens to be one of my favourite Japanese cartoons. Fourthly, the air con is comfortable. Last but not least, it is with a Dyson hair dryer!
It is a trip escaping from the urban. Thanks for providing a fantastic night stay, like a home from home.

日日本旅遊中毒Kenaikan harga 440 yuan setiap orang untuk makan malam, bahan-bahannya biasa-biasa saja, rahang ikan tidak dimasak, dan kakitangan perkhidmatan dimaklumkan bahawa tiada tindak balas permintaan maaf dan diam-diam hanyut~ Bilik itu cantik, tetapi tiada pemandangan ~ Pemandangan yang hodoh, dan langsir akan dibuka oleh orang yang berjalan di lereng bukit Memandang ke bawah, kalau hiker pakai skirt pun boleh nampak dari bawah, memang bahaya ⚠️ . Selepas keluar, kakitangan perkhidmatan menghubungi untuk memaklumkan invois bahawa fon huruf besar adalah salah. Sila hantar semula invois dan maklumkan kepada mereka bahawa invois telah didermakan ke kotak derma sebelum menutup telefon.

BBSTanMagnificent mountain with great hiking trails with great scenery. A must visit place for hikers. It is a great get away from the city. Get to enjoy the train ride with a great view of taipingshan. The ticket is also easily redeemable with the QR code at the entrance.
Yilan Station
KkhccAfter getting off the train, I felt that Yilan Station was a bit old, and the platform and lobby were a bit outdated. But there are different views when you look outside. There is a model of a giraffe in the station building, plus the wood rhyme map on the exterior wall, which is a bit refreshing.
