We recently spent two nights on a stopover trip to Andalucia. We were looking forward to recovering from a long drive by cooling off in the pool or chilling in the SPA. Although the temperatures were in the mid 30s the pool closed the day after our arrival for the season and the indoor pool and SPA was closed both days, as it is closed Sunday and Monday. We had booked the hotel for the proximity to the town and the pool and so were very disappointed that we had not been made aware either on the web site or when we phoned to book. I would have expected that the pool would have been open in September. The room was great, but the hotel was a little tired and could do with someTLC. The food and breakfast were very good and well priced for a four star hotel.

PPengguna TetamuTodo perfecto, limpisimo, personal muy agradable, restaurante con una carta poco extensa pero de muy buena calidad al menos lo que comimos, habitaciones amplias.. Lo único un poco lioso llegar y demás pero por la ubicación dudo se pueda hacer otra cosa.. Nos cogimos entradas para el castillo así que finde ideal.. Ah y el spa, en perfecto estado y todo funcionando que no en todos los que he ido ha sido así.. Conclusión genial todo!!

PPengguna TetamuSince Senator took over the hotel the prices have gone up 30-40,%, whilst the quality and service remained at best the same in certain areas went backwards. It has become a less pleasant stay. The rooms are ok, but the beds are uncomfortably hard. There also was a large insect in the bathroom sink. The buffet food is never warm and it is very noisy in the restaurant, particularly with the bus loads of cheap budget tourist they bring in. But what has become annoying is that for everything you have to pay in advance, in the restaurant you first pay for the dinner ahead of having dinner and then you need to pay for the drinks afterwards! What restaurant does that? Some time ago you could , simply settle the complete bill at departure, now I get 5 or 6 invoices for the same duration, very inefficient for the business traveler. It has become very institutional rather than warm and friendly atmosphere.
