Hotel terbaik di Tordera

Rooms basic...coffee machine only for espresso coffee...take a travel kettle if you like a decent drink. No drawers only shelves. No bath mat. No tissues. Don't go expecting a view...balconies are close to hotels nextdoor so hardly any sun. Infact no where to sit in the sun other than round the pool and that area is tiny. Lounge shut all day no where to have a coffee unless you go to pool bar with limited seating in the shade. Meals...plenty of choice...on the whole very enjoyable...however found some dishes especially fish undercooked. Infact it could of been the cause of d&v that I contacted. On the whole the hotel is fine. The staff lovely..especially Sylvia in the restaurant. The entertainment was good too. The bar never seemed to stock much. The beach bar was lovely on the hot days

Pertama sekali, saya mesti menekankan bahawa ia sentiasa menjadi hotel pantai kegemaran saya. Pembersihan sangat baik, dan lebih banyak perhatian diberikan. Perlu disebutkan bahawa saya pergi ke semua merangkumi, pelayan bar sangat baik, terutamanya seorang lelaki muda bernama Harvey, yang sangat baik! Bagi makanan, ia jelas bukan 10/10, tetapi bagi saya ia adalah bufet hotel terbaik yang pernah saya kunjungi (pasta sarapan yang baru dibuat adalah hebat), di samping itu terdapat kawasan bakeware dan kuali untuk anda Mereka menyediakan banyak perkara seperti tortilla pagi, daging, dll. Kecuali orang yang sangat ramah seperti Mar atau Araceli, saya tidak boleh membuat sebarang kesilapan di kawasan bufet. Hakikatnya mereka kadang-kadang sangat sabar dengan pelanggan tertentu. Akhir sekali, terima kasih Alexis atas kebaikan dan kesediaannya untuk membantu pada bila-bila masa!

After reading some of the reviews, my sister and I were a little dubious about what kind of hotel we had booked, but right from the off, we were pleasantly surprised. The road that the 'front' of the hotel is situated on leaves a lot to be desired... Its a single lane road that is flanked by car parks and waste wheelie bins, with a lovely view of a supermarket, but please do not let that put you off this hotel! We arrived at about 1:30pm, and were checked in after about a 5 minute wait. I can't say that the lady on reception was overly friendly, but she was polite, efficient and we were able to go straight to our room. I cannot praise our room more :) We requested twin beds, and that's what we had. The position of our room, (262), was perfect and as you can see in one of the photos, we had an amazing view of the back of the hotel, where the pool and bar was situated. Although we could see the view perfectly well, our balcony was protected from prying eyes by the lovely palm trees, but the trees didn't affect the sun at all. The room and bathroom was spotlessly clean, with the shower powerful and the hairdryer great. We did have an issue at the beginning, when trying to programme the safe with our code, but after a quick visit to reception, a lovely maintenance man came to our room and fixed it in 60 seconds :) We were AI, so once we had dumped our cases and grabbed towels, we went to the buffet restaurant to have lunch. The food was what I would call 'standard AI' food - there was plenty to choose from, with lots of fish, shellfish, meat, salad and breads. I think that you would have to be incredibly fussy to not be full up at the end of meal times. The restaurant does get a bit busy during certain times, and being British and loving a queue, I did find the attitude of some of the other patrons quite difficult to deal with - there was alot of pushing in, reaching over, path hogging etc. But again, this is not a reflection on the hotel or the staff... The restaurant staff were ALWAYS on the go, clearing tables, replenishing food etc., they worked so hard! Next - the bar & barstaff! Absolutely 10/10! How that hotel makes any money on the AI drinks is beyond me - the cocktails were immense, very strong and very tasty. The barstaff are quick and efficient, and did have a giggle a couple of times when I took a sip of cocktail and shuddered, haha. The bar wait staff were incredible. On the go from morning until night, always with a massive smile on their faces, and not a complaint in sight. They interacted with the guests, (even laughing with some of the more rowdy or intoxicated ones, haha), cleaning tables, and serving the 'paid' cocktails and drinks - they were such hard workers! The evening entertainment was good, not fantastic, but we were quite happy listening to the singers that were laid on. There was no daytime entertainment, which was advertised, but I don't think that bothered us too much as we were quite happy to sit by the pool

Lovely hotel in a guite location, right beside train station so great base to explore and 1 hour from Barcelona, beautiful beach but not great for swimming or children as it has a very step shelf. More activities further long beach in Santa Suzanna which is 20 minute walk and more lively. Hotel itself was very clean lovely rooms (ours had sea view which is spectacular) small but practical. All inclusive was great, food was exceptional with great variety again though not for smaller children. I only have one complaint/issue, as we were all inclusive we paid 2 euro for a drinks card, refundable at checkout, this is guite common, however we were served drinks in plastic glasses which again is fine while by the pool but not on an evening while sitting in main bar, but staff would not provide proper glasses for us, also cocktails on the all inclusive menu are a measure of alcohol with a pre made mixer from a machine but a paying customer gets a somewhat proper cocktail, when we addressed this staff told us paying customers only get a proper cocktail and are permitted to use glass and we had not paid!! also we might drink more, now the age of our group range from 40's to 70's so by no means big drinkers. The moral of this story is and which staff didn't seem to care about was that we had indeed paid for our food and drink, we paid in advance by adding that option to our booking pre travel and this can be expensive so all customers regardless should get the same drinks in proper glasses on an evening. Most staff are lovely and friendly but like anywhere there were a few with no personalities. Would return to the area though, maybe even to the hotel!!

On arrival, we were dropped off by our clueless tui rep, who was more interested in speaking on her mobile phone than helping others! Waited 30mins for room, when receiving our key they was an argument going on with a previous guest, if I'm honest this could of been sorted quicker then it was as they was children present including my own! Our room was basic, with no balcony, bath, or even a fridge, we were told a fridge is extra & if I'm honest, we didn't have a balcony, so a fridge would of been perfect as we didnt have this! Tv had no English channels apart from disney. Rooms were cleaned well, but most of the time, I did it myself as I have a little OCD when it comes to cleaning, I came to this hotel with my 7 year old son, who has an allergy to fish! This was explained to the staff as well as kitchen staff as I used my phone to google translate, I wouldn't of minded eating there if food wasn't cooked together, fish & meat was both cooked on the same grill as well as been placed on the same tray! This happened a few times so my son couldn't eat there at all, we had to pay extra & eat out as even though I mentioned this to staff nothing was done! On the last day, I spoke to the manager and told them about my sons fish allergy as I was told staff were going to pass the message on which was never done! The manager apologised & told me I would be given a refund through Tui & he would help all he could! Which was lies as Tui refused to give me a refund & said the manager should have given me this when we left! (The manager wasn't going to give me a refund it was lies) I spent an extra £250 eating out every night when this hotel could have sorted my sons dietary needs as most places do theses days! We had 2 days of rain and to be honest they was no entertainment or even music playing in the bar which made our holiday glumy, we were offered a few board games, the entertainment at night time was mainly for adults, I wouldn't recommend taking your children here as it's more of an adult environment! The hotel is basic, no fridge unless you pay extra, the hotel was clean, some staff go above & beyond for people, they was a young lad with glass and a lady called Sally I think who where absolutely amazing, they knew about my sons allergies & apologised, I do wish more help was given though like a refund the manager promised me! The pool area is small, we never went in to the pool as the beach was more fun, the hotel is very basic and I would recommend going somewhere different as the money we paid for this hotel wasn't worth it, some of the guests are so rude, pushing in, mucky looks & completely blanking people, I felt uncomfortable in this hotel as people seemed to judge me due to having tattooes, (my body, my rules) I wouldn't go here again as it was boring, and nothing much for children, we did meet a few couples who were lovely & even they told me they would never go again as it's changed, it felt like management just wanted my money & didn'
