Hotel terbaik di Auray

The hotel is situated outside the main centre of the town behind the gendarmes centre. It is in a modern building set in pleasant grounds and in a quiet part of the town. It is an easy 15 minute walk into the town. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The night we stayed it was very quiet with just a a few rooms in use. We were in room 112 which was at the front of the building and was fine with a good shower & comfy bed. The issue was the lift was quite small, holding 6 people and incredibly slow to work. The staff were friendly and helpful also speaking good English. We did not eat there apart from the ‘express breakfast’ which was a orange juice, coffee, a pastry and bread. This was quite minimal but fine. It is a good place to stay in Auray.

Escale durant notre voyage vers les îles bretonnes, arrivée très tardive en raison des bouchons. Très bien situé. Accueil et prise en charge au top de l’arrivée au départ. Chambre fonctionnelle et petit déjeuner buffet très complet. En bonus : La borne de recharge pour notre véhicule électrique sur le parking. Nous recommandons.

Habitués des hôtels de cette chaine nous avons été déçus de celui çi. Climatisation bruyante dans la chambre, petit déjeuner très moyen surtout pour le tarif. presse à jus d'orange, mais pas d'orange, viennoiseries de qualité moyenne, les produits étaient souvent manquants pas remplacés de suite (plats vides), idem pour les boissons. Choix moyen. Chambre pas prête à 16H.. Les + personnel agréable et chambre et locaux très propres. Facilité de stationnement. Restaurant de l'hôtel moyen, peu de choix la viande et les frites sont arrivés tièdes et pas grand chose aux alentours pour diner. Il ne manquerait pas grand chose pourtant pour que cet hôtel soit top..

From first arrival at this hotel the attitude towards customer service was on full display. The reception desk was not attended, but when a member of housekeeping staff kindly tried to help get attention for me she was rudely blanked by the proprietor. The kind housekeeper suggest I try to speak with them myself as she had been treated so dismissively. The stay itself was satisfactory in meeting our basic needs of a bed and shower. The room was clean if sparse and old fashioned in décor. After leaving the hotel, the complete lack of care or customer service again came transparent. We were travelling by motorcycle, it was raining and therefore in the packing of our luggage we missed 2 items. We quickly realised this and contacted the hotel, requesting they might be forwarded to an address elsewhere in France where we were staying a few days for a wedding. They denied the items were there. Knowing this to be a lie, we persisted and eventually the hotel confirmed they had one of the items only. By then it was too late to forward in France, so they would return the item to the UK. I was then told that this had required a tax declaration and received a demand for 40€ for tax and postage costs. This reference to taxes that needed paying was repeated on the phone. In truth NO taxes are due on the return of personal items, so when I asked the hotel for information to make a tax reclaim they admitted it was actually a charge they had imposed for their employees time. I had been mislead. I do not appreciate the pettiness, lies and poor customer service of this hotel and could not recommend it to any other traveller in case you should have some need of help or kindness.

Superbe chambre pour 5 personnes. Hôtel propre et accueil sympathique. Bien situé. A ne pas manquer pour une étape. Le marché à Vannes le dimanche ou Auray le lundi sont à faire. Petit déjeuner correcte. Endroit calme, restauration proche
