Hotel terbaik di Llangollen

On arrival we were pleased with the hotel and location sadly as our stay progressed we were less pleased Our room was nice and big but. Very little sockets. Nothing by the bed for phone charging There was no toilet paper. We had to ask and they bought one ?? There was no fridge in the room There was no biscuits with the coffee On day two we asked why our room had not been serviced and towels changed I was told there is a note in the bathroom saying you had your ask fir this service I had not seen this it was a very small note on the wall Could not see without glssses. Don’t usually wear them in the bathroom We paid £300 fir two nights and this only gave us one hours use of the Spa ??? then £10 an hour. No thanks If you wanted a Robe it was £7.50 For a 4 star hotel it lacked the up market feel It appears it is going through cost cutting exercises which could damage the brand Would not go back

Free parking - big plus. We had booked B&B. With FREE continental breakfast @ £45 per night for two. Welcomed by contractors outside the hotel who were very hospitable, although busy emptying their van........is the hotel fit for access we thought.....we were assured it would be completed tonight?? What would be completed tonight?? Christmas decorations & decorators had arrived from the Black Country and what a job they did. (see my photo taken during dinner) A welcoming entrance into the modern, newly carpeted, well lit, open bar. Onward into the reception area and dining room where we were greeted by the owner?? and a member of the reception staff, who was very professional and gave us all the information we required about the hotel and escorted us to our room. A new grey carpet followed us right up to our room and beyond. A very clean, warm and comfortable bedroom. Ensuite with all the home comforts, including tea, coffee, TV, comfortable warm bed, etc. We had intended going out for a meal but due the long day decided to check the menu for an evening meal in and it was too good to miss. The draught beer was exceptional as was the wine of our choice for the dinner. Our dinner choice was fresh, well presented and as tasty as any I have ever tasted in my lifetime.. What's more it was delicious. How could we fault this hotel, we couldn't, best value for money and in a thriving village, Glyn Ceiriog. Must be amazing in the summer.....for us it was a cold damp and dreary night, but thoroughly enjoyable. We highly recommended this hotel. As a well known actor and diplomat said ”We'll be back” or was it ””I'll be back? Thank you so much.

Arrived at the hotel which on first glance had a large closed sign attached to the building. The hotel seems to be catered for contractors, over boot protection provided at the entrance. The rooms are basic, and clean, the room I was given did not have any air conditioning and unlike a modern hotel had no usb sockets. The following morning went into what appeared to be a decommissioned restaurant/ bar for breakfast which once ordered took a while to arrive, but there did seem to be a lack of staff. In my opinion this isn’t a hotel for families it’s for people who are literally working in the area.

We stayed Friday night.The room was fine- very clean. Had a lovely meal in the Indian restaurant- the staff were very friendly and the food was great. Nice cocktail in the Waterside afterwards. Reception staff were helpful and polite- particularly the night staff. Breakfast was plentiful- coffee machine was playing up. Only complaint would be of other guests not waiting to be seated and complaining of lack of croissants!!! We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book again.
